i love Squid Game. gusto ko yung naging character development ng mga bida. kaya rin nainvest ako sa series na ito eh. for long, di na ako nanonood ng kdrama but this one's really gotten my attention.
It has everything kasi - comedy, drama, action, sex scenes, mystery, thriller, horror, suspense. grabe lahat na yata. may gay angle pa lol. at may social relevance din and so many moral lessons. on top of that, that big twist at the end. and the cast is outstanding.
Koreans are doing well cementing themselves in the western industry. It works amazing because they include their culture in what they do AND they have a strong sense of culture. Hindi lang puro gaya-gaya at remakes. Merong originality and they def have support from the government. Kung ganoon lang ang ang mahal kong Pilipinas 😬

No for me. I wasn’t hooked with Alice. Half lang ng episode 1 napanood ko. Hindi relatable yung characters unlike sa Squid Games na may depth talaga kaya maaapektuhan ka. May moral din yung story ng SG kaya may kurot sa puso. This is why I can’t compare it to movies like Battle Royale, As Gods Will, or even Hunger Games.
That's what I was saying, too much violence. ALl these koreaboos hyping this show like it's so original when most that comes out from korean entertainment are copied or inspired from some materials in japan or hollywood/west. NApaka OA ng mga korea tards talaga... kairita!
SG is so relatable for most people... and at the same time you learn a lot of life lessons... Timely too, as most of us now are facing different struggles just to survive...
