Ok I will be fair. Pinanood ko ang video, maganda visuals, editing, whatever you call it. Basta maganda naman yung video overall. Maganda rin si Maymay, tsaka yung makeup niya. I just don't like the song. Star Music naman. You did Maymay dirty. May boses naman siya, marunong kumanta. Wag naman sana gumawa ng ganitong walang kwentang kanta. Give her love songs, pop songs. Wag na yung parang ganitong kanta na self acceptance kuno. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit mas prefer ko makinig ng underground rock eh kesa sa mainstream OPM na walang kalatoy latoy. Can they please stop packaging her this way and just focus on developing her strengths - whatever those may be?
Jolina got away with it because she was multi-talented and her quirky fashion sense was authentic. And I say Jolina because she wasn't that pretty per se but she was funny, very personable and was a natural comedian. No one forced her to be the pretty young thing.
Can they just package her to be the somewhat fasyon comedian versus the next top model who can do comedy - because she's not the latter. And please, kung ganyan kaheavy ang autotune might as well do as Anne Curtis did in all her sintonado glory. She still sold out concerts btw.
May hitsura si Jolina. Ang layo ng comparison kay Maymay. Kaya lang magmukhang "hindi maganda" si Jolina ay dahil jologs ang porma niya. Pinanood ko sa YouTube yung Mundo Mo'y Akin na pinalabas ng GMA noon. Maganda naman si Joiina. Tama yung commenter sa taas. Ala Mystica levels si Maymay.
I was actually surprised. Maymay can carry a tune pala. And she has a good tone quality. I don't know where the hate is coming from based sa mga comment but I actually enjoyed the song. Nakakatuwa lang.
