Usually for publicity or campaign. It stated in the US. There was an article,(and in some books) on how the father of late Pres.John Kennedy spent a lot of money to promote him to be a presidential nominee, and we all know the rest. Even that to be on the cover of Time magazine, msyroon din, they call it donation.
Donation sa channel, radio station, show.... pero some journalists/reporters refuse to be bribed/get paid naman. I know that for sure nung nag intern ako sa isang radio station dati during elections. Yung ibang politicians naman, may pakain sa lahat ng staff even us interns as pa thank you kuno.
Dahil parehas sila ni Toni na nag iinterview ng personalities, I bet my 50 pesos kahit 1% lang eh may magtatanong ng netizen. Imposibleng wala. Good for her to clarify it as early as now.
Basta if you interview the current admin, the Marcoses, the trapos, & members of political dynasties, i hope you burn them to the ground. No mercy dapat. Just like what Karmina Constantino & Christian Esguerra do.
There is inherent conflict of interest when you are a journalist when you keep in check these same personalities who are your friends. It's just human nature for one to temper down when the going gets tough.
Okay, noted.

Imposibleng wala. Good for her to clarify it as early as now.
DeleteMay nagtanong.
DeleteKaren Davila is a journalist by degree and profession. Toni is not. Ordinary vlogger lang na feeling intellectual.
Delete6:37 am Exactly!
DeleteHIndi ko nga naiintindihan since when naging journalist kuno itong Toni.
DeleteOmg omg.. bakit ko binasa with matching Karen’s voice
ReplyDeleteAko den with the paos and all lolz
DeleteShe should not be a newscaster or news anchor. Parang lagi siyang naghahabol ng hininga niya. And her very hoarse voice is so bad to listen to.

Deletedont forget the "dear"

ReplyDeleteYou hate them you don’t know you became like them.
DeleteI agree šš»
DeleteAgree with Karmina Constantino & Christian Esguerra. They ask the hard questions, kahit sino pa yan.
I just love Christian, super cute niya.
DeleteShow receipt nga kung may nagtanong talaga?
ReplyDeleteWala baks, tinanong lang nya at sinagot sarili nya. Alam mo yun, nagising sya tumungin sa salamin at naitanong sa sarili sabay post sa socmed. Ok na?
DeleteSa youtube views kasi sya nakakabawi
ReplyDeleteMeron kasing mga corrupt na journalists. Karen's disclosure that she's not paid for is relevant.
