It's been more than a decade since I last set foot sa MSU library, pero di ko talaga makakalimutan yung post sa wall "Magbasa para di ka mag mukhang tanga."
Kung yung basis lang is yung word na hitsory parang hindi naman conclusive. Meron kasing artistic license, pwede idismiss as a creative twist yung wrong spelling.
Di lang naman sa wrong spelling or kesyo walang ward giving body na nilagay, you are suppose to read and be informed before you type in any form of message sa wall ng ibang tao. Bago ka mag react sa isang bagay dapat naintindihan mo.
Kaya nga patok ang memes at art cards sa pinas kasi di mahilig magbasa ng long post. Kaya din yun media na maintriga ang headline eh agad kumakalat kahit di pa alam ang buo story. Nakabase sa unang nakita, nabasa, narinig, kaya puro soundbites lang nilalagay. Madalas eh lihis sa totoo sinabi
Ang gusto lang nya sabihin is mga tao now madaling maloko at mauto and hindi ma usisa kung real o fake news ba. Hindi lang poor reading comprehension pero tamad talaga magbasa. Yun nga din yung weird now na information is just a click away di tulad dati pero mas b*b* mga tao ngayon
Social experiment to target those who base their comment on the photo lang and not reading the whole caption. Goes to show that those who posted congratulations did not finished the whole caption.
Dati nga nawala yung kaklase ko e tapos pinost ng LGU yung graduation pic nya pero may caption na maayos tulad ng name, age, built, clothes, last seen, etc. Pero puro congratulations talaga yung nasa comments!
The design of the social experiment is flawed. What was the intent? That everyone who sees a congratulatory post in that format need to cross check from other sources? Could be pero the experimental design was vague. Was he expecting also that those who read the typo would call him out for it when social media is filled with people who chastise those who point such out as grammar nazis?
Matalino daw kasi siya. Matagal ng napapansin ng mga tao who are not “blind” na may something off about his character lalo na from his humble brags sa social media in the past.
Bitoy does not expect people to cross check information, he's just testing if people would read the whole post or in real life case, articles, as reading just a fraction of an article can lead to misinformation
