(Now they are saying that COVID vaccines are possibly linked to heart inflmmation- not fake news but there is data that supports this-look it up) Remember there are also reputable medical doctors who also advocate against the vaccines- it’s just that they don’t have as much exposure on mainstream news. Not saying that we must not get the vaccine- but we should also do our due diligence. When people bashes others who differ in opinion we must understand that this is a personal medical decision. I hear many argue na yung mga ayaw magpavax wag sila magpaospital- it really is unfair. Might as well tell smokers, drinkers, those who actually have bad lifestyle bawal sila magpaospital. And besides even some those who are vaxxed get hospitalized too- still got pneumonia. DeleteI understand due diligence to 'do your research' but there is a limit to what you (or anyone else without expertise) can possibly grasp by just reading articles, even From reputable websites/documents. There is so much research that has been done and there is consensus by the majority of scientists and health professionals all over the world and the best thing to do is to follow their advice because they have spent years and years to be able to determine the best course of action. To think that any person can just sit and read articles over the internet in a limited period of time and make a better decision than one that has been suggested by real experts who studied for years is a fallacy. There is still continuous study because true science is not a yes/no field. It is complex and true scientists will keep on analyzing and giving more information as they get it. But based on current information and analysis from true experts, vaccination is still our best shot at protecting ourselves and our loved ones and the country.
I agree 3:21, we shouldn't force people to get vaccinated. The adults in my family and I are vaccinated, but I respect others decision NOT to get vaccinated. It's their body afterall.

Duh. Those who get covid also get heart inflammation. Much more common and severe than the rare cardiomyopathy from vaccines. And like they always say, no treatment or vaccine is without side effects but the benefit far outweigh the risk.
DeleteSure the CDC, doctors and scientists arent perfect..covid is new and they're learning as we go and sharing their recommendations with us. Still, I'd trust them as they're in the medical field and have decades of knowledge and experience to back them up. Much more than any tom, dick or harry or or even me na basa basa lang. Not that I'm a sheep. Kung may sakit ako sa doctor din naman ako tatakbo to make an informed decision to help me get better. Same thing din with vaccination and other recommendations they have on public health.
Normally I don't mind people making their own decisions in regards to their bodies but the decision to not be unvaccinated is not just harmful to them but the community as well. Potential spreaders na sila lalo na sa vulnerable population, pag nagkasakit pa, lalo pa na sstrain yung healthcare system.
I have reservations din when it comes to the vaccine, one is will it affect expecting or trying to conceive women. But at the same time, parehas naman may probable argument bakit ok na yes or no to vaccine. Pwedeng i-argue ng parehas na kampo ang efficacy nito dahil di enough ang time for testing. Now, I dont think ikakalat sa buong mundo ang vaccine kung hindi pala sya nakakatulong. Kung madaming experts naman ang nagsasabi na somehow makakatulong to sa situation natin, for an ordinary citizen, who am i to question? I am one with the whole world na sana matapos na tong pandemic. I am still checking which vaccine will be more beneficial for me. And honestly, nagka covid na ang nanay at kapatid ko and nakalapit ako sa kanila ng walang mask, thank God, hindi ako nahawa. Nag lock down dito sa kalye namin because may isang pamilyang nakatira sa jeep ang tinamaan ng covid. na swabbed kami buong family, thank God, all negative. Huwag naman sanang mag discrimate sa mga hindi pa nagpapa vax. Responsible din naman yung iba, stay at home lang, pag nalabas pa nga, double mask and face shield ako, it's just the vaccine which I am still hesitant at this time.
DeleteHindi ako anti-vaxxer. Kumpleto ako sa vaccines simula pagkabata hanggang booster ng HepB at May TDap pa ko. Pero hindi pa ako nagpapa covid vax kasi sa tingin ko kulang pa ang panahon para mapatunayan ang effectiveness at hindi pa natin alam kung ano ang effects in the long run. Hindi rin nakakasiguro sa mga adverse effects.
ReplyDeleteNagtrabaho ako sa clinical research at usually umaabot ng 12 years or more ang duration ng studies para sa gamot. Masyadong minadali ang covid vax. At sana igalang natin ang desisyon ng iba kung gusto magpa vax or gustong maghintay muna. At healthcare workee ako ngayon pero nag iingat ako. Maghihintay pa ko bago magpa vaccine.
