DeleteActually isa sya women's rights advocate at nung pinasa ang batas na to nung 1997, it was considered groundbreaking dahil ginawa nitong krimen ang rape.
Ang problema ay yung mga mambabatas nung mga sumunod na taon na hindi inupdate yung batas knowing na outdated na yung 12 y/o as age of consent.
Ikr, pero infairness naman dati pa siguro yan, nung panahong uso pa talaga na matandang lalake eh batang bata ang inaasawa at alam mo naman sa pinas, ayaw nila babaguhin ang batas.

Depende po sa bansa. Sa Pinas, 12 is the age of consent so it's only r*pe if the victim is below 12.
