  7. Her paintings are ok pero I can't help but feel like they're Gustav Klimt wannabes.

    1. That’s exactly what I thought - the figures, the colors, the style. But most people here sa Pinas wouldn’t know that or are familiar with his works, kaya bilib na bilib sila.

    2. A lot of artists can have same style. And heart has openly coted Gustav Klimt as an inspiration.

      Delete
    4. Maybe inspired but not wanna be. Most of Heart's paintings are brighter, more colorful and more feminine than Gustav Klimt's

    5. 1:42, feelingera mo naman! Akala mo one of the few na cultured ka. Low key insulting Heart and looking down on pinoys para maangat sarili. Pathetic.

    6. 507 true. Lol, actually maraming ganyang Pinoy. 241 Ilang museum na ba sa Europe at Asia at Amerika napuntahan mo? 😂

      Delete
    7. True.

Isa pa, kelan pa may art police? Lol, art is art. Yung potato photo nga ilang millions of dollars yun nabenta. 😂

    9. 1:42 I’m Filipina and I’ve been to Moma, the Louvre, Musee D’ Orsay, Dali Paris, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Accademia Gallery and a lot more. I appreciate Heart’s style and she’s not claiming to be a Filipino master. Have you seen the works of Mark Rothko? His paintings were and are being forged by counterfeiters because of the value of his paintings and yet his paintings look simple.

Just live and let live and be happy on the achievements of others. Heart is not naman competing with you in any way and I’m assuming hindi naman nawala livelihood mo because of her success.

    10. 1:01. 1:42, 1:43, Pag inggit, PIKIT! As if may pambili kayo ng mga paintings.

    11. Wow, daming fans ni Heart ha. I must say she his very good in reinventing herself fully and succeeding in all her endeavours - I actually admire her for this, (and for even managing to position herself as a true-blue alta). Magaling sya and whoever trained her and repackaged her really did a good job as well. The fact that there are all these defenders here prove that point. Anyway, makikisabat na lang sa comments.

2:50 Did anyone really like that art? Honest question. Then again, art appeals differently to different people. 😅

3:18 Your comment is the only relatively sane one (I hope); I feel like we could have a really good discussion. Yes, her other paintings have a diff vibe but overall same style. Although on the contrary to your observation, I find them more subdued, and even her brighter ones feel someow sad. I don’t know if it’s just me.

5:52 - have been to maybe close to a hundred, probably. How about you?

12:21 - you don’t have to be an artist to be a critic, just an art lover/collector with enough knowledge and experience. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And no one’s pretending to be a critic here.

5:11 - You really felt the need to mention all the museums you’ve been to? Congratulations! I also love going to museums; have been to the museums you mentioned and some others you didn’t (but admittedly, I have yet to step foot in Africa; I am sure there are also wonderful museums there). And yes, live and let live.

    12. 834 milyones or hundreds of thousands nabenta ang art ni Goma, so malamang may gusto ang bumili nun. Lol, and yes I've been to Europe and Asia museums and I don't like it. I went there kasi hilig ng asawa ko kapag nagtatravel. 😂

    13. Andaming hambog na nakapunta n s kng anu anong museum. Kinaganda nyo yan? Haha
Okay so far Louvre pa lang ako. Bakit ba

      Delete
    14. 8:34 I said a lot more museums not just the museums I mentioned because if I mention all then it would already be bragging. I also mentioned that to say that there are Filipinos like me (and I’m sure there’s a lot more) who’ve been to art museums so I don’t know why you guys are triggered.

It’s a response to 1:42 who said that “most people” in PH are not familiar with Gustav Klimt whose works are heavily copied (you can even buy art prints of his works). So I don’t agree with that. Plus the style of Gustav Klimt inspired a lot of other artists, just like Gustav Klimt has been influenced by contemporary Japanese art.

And 3:30 sorry to say hindi ko ikinaganda ang pagpunta ng museum because maganda na ako talaga even before pa. But it certainly added to my memorable experience, knowledge and wisdom just like hopefully it added to yours when you visited the Louvre.

    ReplyDelete

    1. 2:42, Lol. You have no idea what you are saying. Her style is the opposite of renaissance. Look up renaissance paintings baks. Kaloka.

    2. Renaissance?? I'm no connaisseur, but do you know what style that pertains to? Haha

And I can tell she is happy, she is free like kay Bea ngayon, parang nakawala sa mahigpit na kural ng Star Magic.

At yung faneys ni M ang nagtulak sa akin to check out her page. Ngayon nagiging habit ko na magpunta sa page ni H if I want to see nice and expensive stuff.

    3. 8:13 Truth! Lol

    4. I learned to truly appeaciate na mabait pala talaga sya at may breeding especially i read an article about her being grateful to Abs-cbn even though she transferred na tapos she acknowledged the nalaos sya at some point and GMA was there help her that time. I think she was asked kung lilipat sya ng network after jolina’s comeback to abs-cbn. So she said yun GMA was there at her lowest and she’s forver grateful. Acknowledged nya din that time she was with abs-cbn. She’s still lose to the network mgnt i guess and even attended star magic ball at some point. She never badmouthed her previous station and have always praised her present.

  11. If hindi nyo bet ang painting, okay lang pero don't speak ill about it or the artist. Iba lang preference mo.

In the first place, art is not about perfection mga ate gerl.

  12. I applaud her network and growing accomplishments - she is truly coming into her own. I'm not a fan of her art though. It just lacks heart ot soul or a certain je ne sais quois. But I appreciate that art is subjective and it's good that she's able to achieve so much.
