Statement from Grab Philippines
It has been brought to our attention that someone has recently used our platform to place multiple orders - causing undue stress to Ms Kris Bernal and our driver-partners.
Grab has a zero-tolerance policy on fraudulent activities. Upon learning of this incident, we have immediately conducted our investigation and we have blocked the mobile phone IMEI of the fraudster to avoid similar incidents from happening in the future. We are also working closely with Ms. Kris Bernal on the matter, and we have reimbursed our delivery-partners who have fallen prey to this fraudster.
Grab Philippines will continue to extend its cooperation with the local authorities in their investigation.
Privileged!
Delete12:42 but you can contact their customer support. Ginawa mo b yun?
DeleteWell you know what?? Brains are meant to be used, I don't know why you're not using yours. Since when pa naging privilege na magreklamo about fraud?
Delete12:42, karapatan nya magreklamo at magpainterview sa TV. Actually karapatan mo rin yan, but it's your choice to exercise that right or not. You just chose the latter.
DeleteKapag b hndi nakaTV cover/broadcast k, hndi mo n itutuloy ang report mo 12:42? Lalo n kung fraud ang irereport mo? Wow
Pay by GrabPay or credit cards na lang.
DeleteMasyado kang paawa when in fact you can do something about it.
DeleteNevertheless, kahit isa or dalawang fraud order yan, e report mo. But DO NOT expect to be given same treatment as Kris cz di ka naman artista. But am sure the company will entertain your concern IF you reach out to them. I should know cz it happened to me. Di man ako artista, but i appreciated the food company's effort to reach out to me and fixed the mess.
DeleteA-lister problems where news like this should become a national issue.
ReplyDeleteThis is a big issue because it can happen to anyone
DeletePs. Kris is not A lister.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION , national issue nga ito. This concerns everyone using such apps and maramin kami.
ReplyDeleteAng masakit e block lang ung number and IMEI? They can always use another phone. Do a proper investigation and sue the btch
At saka may data privacy act eh.
Eh may malaki pa population dito kesa jan.
Registered lahat mapapostpaid or prepaid. You are required to present a valid ID to be able to get a prepaid sim card. Fast forward to recent times, mas feasible na yan ngayon. Mema ka.
Delete1:23, bakit kadiri? Madumi ba? I think pag may sim card registration, isang sim lang bawat tao.
Deleteto 1:23 am, baks, bakit di pwedeng kayanin? that’s the only way we can regulate online bullying, scamming, etc. bakit di pwede? mentality mo pa lang, wala na. kaya di makausad Pilipinas e. bakit imbes na kurakutin, invest on those reforms? oh well, Pilipinas nga pala. kawawa.
Delete@1:23 SAANG KUBOL KA BA NAKATAGO?! PERMANENT FIX YAN HINDI BANDWAGON. KAPAG MAY SIMCARD REGISTRATION HINDI LANG YANG LINTEK NA SCAMMING ANH MARERESOLBA MARAMI PA.
DeleteMAY PANG-FP KA PERO DI KA MAKAPAG GOOGLE NG DATA PROCESSING NG MGA COMPUTERS?!? HINDI MAGKA-CRASH ANG SYSTEM BASTAT TAMA ANG SPECS NG HARDWARE NA GAGAMITIN AT MAAYOS ANG SYSTEM.
DATA PRIVACY? TANONG ULIT SAANG KUBOL KA BA ULIT NAGTATAGONG KUBOL?! DEFAULT NA SA LAHAT NA MAY DATA PRIVACY KAPAG MAY APP OR SYSTEM NA NANGONGOLECT NG DATA.
Ayaw ng trolls yan... Baka ma- trace ang mga kalokohan nila.
Delete1:23 you obvious dont want hassle kaya nasabi mo yan. No pain, no gain ika nga.
DeleteNo wonder Senator Ping disagree with passing said law @7:58
Delete"we have immediately conducted our investigation" - pag celebrity talaga, instant ang pagkilos nitong mga to.
ReplyDeleteA good use of celebrity clout in this case no?
Delete12:49 they have a platform to influence change and force these businesses to improve on their services including attending to customer complaints, wala namang masama dyan
ReplyDeleteYup. Bakit hindi mag investigate? Pwede silang makipagcommunicate with the service provider and get the details since may kaso naman
DeleteAlso sa daming beses na nangyari to, why won't grab FLAG orders of 3 or more using a single account? It's suspicious.
DeleteThis particular prankster may sayad cya, she's been known to harass sexbomb girls, also ordering for them, minumura sila everyday sa phone even managed to get inside house nung isa. Creepy stalker. I listened to the Tulfo program aa taxicab.
DeleteGrab’s corrective action is not enough. These scammers could use another sim and do their scamming again. They should require OTP and have payment first policy. They wont lose customers kasi household name na ang Grab etc
ReplyDelete**OTP and KYC
DeleteWala nang COD! Lahat naman ng tao may credit card, or account ng GCash or SmartPay.
DeleteSobrang tamad mag imbestiga
Mag lodge ka lang ng complaint, take a photo para may evidence and send that evidence to their team to dispute.
Delete8:03 san banda ang galit na galit sa COD?
DeleteMaraming issues ang cash. Counterfeit money.
If they know who the perpetrator is, they should arrest her and charge her for her crime; and then have her pay for each and every bogus order she placed. That should send a message for others who are thinking about doing the same thing.
Sana the govt would take action upon this.
Next time pag ma biktima ka, pwede kang mag complain pero up to 5 words lang ha.
Deletei cannot unsee the pandesal on kris’ photo
Pay it first, hold the transaction until the food delivered.
DeleteYun nga ang idea ng withheld payment: the payment will be charged to the card only pag nadeliver sya.
DELIVERY APPS should have atleast a way to submit a valid ID and a photo capture of who ever will be signing up for it. Both driver at customer
ReplyDeleteYun lang ang consequence? Na block lang ang number? E ang dali bumili ng prepaid card
ReplyDeletematagal nang issue to, ayaw solusyunan ni grab. this wont be the last time it'll happen for sure
ReplyDeleteanyway, kulang pa din as action from Grab ito.
You can always use a different phone.
DeletePaulit ulit na ung scam na to wala silang ginagawa
Jusko edi bibili lang yun ng new sim, at mura lang gadget now na smartphone
ReplyDeleteDapat kasi bayad muna bago delivery
Kaya need na talaga ng National ID, where mobile numbers are registered, same sa middle east, para ma trace kung sino ang nanloloko
ReplyDeleteKaya need na talaga ng National ID, where mobile numbers are registered, same sa middle east, para ma trace kung sino ang nanloloko
ReplyDeleteBat lagi nangyayari yan? Common sense naman sana sa mga delivery services and other companies na offering delivery services din na i-check nyo naman pag may nagpi-place ng multiple orders... Hindi ba nakakaduda yun? You have to verify na pag may ganun. Actually, kahit nga isa lang ang order, dapat i-verify nyo parin bago kayo magdeliver... Ano ba yan?...
Mga legit na may handaan, or biglaang happening like burol. In the absence of national ID and SIM registration, ang fastest way para pigilan ang scammers is to remove the COD option. Pay by CC, GCash or other electronic means.
DeleteUnverified accounts on Food delivery services should not be able to place an order.
ReplyDeleteDapat kasi para silang GCash an vine-verify muna ang identity ng customer before being able to order. Free for all kasi ang pag order sa GRab. Kawawa ang riders.
ReplyDeleteThese are common in online transactions nowadays. Dapat may gawin dito. Im an online seller in various platforms. Madaming bogus buyers.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to us last March. 12 Grab and Food Panda riders ang nabiktima. May nagpa deliver and naka address samin tapos fake name ang ginamit. Kaka awa yung ibang rider.
