After signing a management contract with a talent agency, award-winning dramatic actor John Lloyd Cruz drops yet another "hint" that may surprise his fans soon.
It seems like John Lloyd Cruz, after almost five years of staying away from the limelight, is going to stage a comeback so strong it would rock the entire entertainment industry.
The award-winning actor, who made showbiz headlines recently when he inked a contract with fellow artist Maja Salvador's newly minted talent management agency, Crown Artist Management (CAM), was seen in what appears to be a meeting with Wowowin host Willie Revillame.
This is not the first time John Lloyd sat down with Willie since he left showbiz.
In the May 19 episode of Wowowin, Willie narrated he and John Lloyd had a heart-to-heart in Puerto Galera, “Gusto ko lang batiin 'yung kaibigan nating si John Lloyd. Kagabi kasama ko siya, nasa Puerto Galera kami. Nagkuwentuhan kami sa buhay. Tinanong ko siya, 'Bakit ka ba huminto?' Maganda 'yung mga rason niya eh.
“'Burnout ka na. Ito na lang po ginagawa ko araw-araw. 'Pag gising ko, shooting. 'Pag tulog ko, 'pag gising ko, shooting.' 'Yun bang binigyan niya ng halaga 'yung sarili niya. Dapat ganyan din tayo eh.”
Could this be a hint that John Lloyd Cruz, the once-elusive actor, whom everybody thought has completely left showbiz behind, will make his long-overdue comeback with the Kapuso Network?
The 37-year-old's last big project was in 2017 when he did a movie with Sarah Geronimo. He then shocked everyone when he suddenly took an indefinite leave of absence from the entertainment industry in October 2017. The public later learned that he had chosen to lead a private life with fellow actress Ellen Adarna, with whom he has a son named Elias.
Will John Lloyd just make occasional appearances in Wowowin, or will he go back to doing full-on teleseryes?
While this photo may yield more questions than answers, it makes one undeniable statement: John Lloyd is back and the Kapuso network is ready to welcome him.

DeleteI feel him on feeling burnout. During pandemic, I resigned from my job. Others might say, yung iba na-lalay off, tapos ako nagresign. I’ll always be grateful to my employer, but I came to a point when I had to choose self care more than anything else. At that point, my wellness was my priority more than the income and financial stability. I hope people won’t be too quick to judge us, that we are ungrateful and that we neglect the opportunities while others lack of it. Let us always remember that we might not know what these people are going through. Let us choose to be kind and supportive.

DeleteDo i regret resigning sa 1 full time job ko? Actually no. Nakaka burn out. I know many of us have "no choice" but then we're not rubbing this off to people. Just like everyone else, we're just sharing our own experiences. Iba iba tayo ng priority sa buhay, maybe yes hindi lahat may support ng family and all but even sa aming kawalan ng work,may anxieties, may fears, may struggles kami and no, choosing your own wellness over work is still a choice I'd make personally kesa struggling, full of anxieties ako while remaining in the dead end job i had for the sake of money. Single ako, it's a privilege for me habang single kasi i know one day work will never stop pag may family na ako.
Don't bash people who choose their wellness over money, or career. It is their choice,it is our choice. Nagkataon lang iba iba tayo ng status o ng priorities. We're not rubbing it off and believe us we are more than grateful to our old companies, iba iba tayo ng season, we have to respect it. I hope 1:37 you will one day choose your well being. If you believe that God will provide for you then take that leap of faith kesa you feel exhausted in a job na pag nagka cancer ka kulang pa kikitain mo sa pampagamot mo.

I can relate to you 110 before ako nagkaanak. Nasanay kasi ako na kapag na burn out sa trabaho or environment, uuwi lang ako sa amin at ok na ako ulit. May mga issues kasi siya dati behind the scenes and how he’s a problem sa production pero pinagtakpan lang. Sana umayos siya this time. Kawawa din nman si Maja kapag nagloko na nman siya pagnagkataon. Knowing GMA din, hindi din sila yung tipong itotolerate yung mga pa diva na artista kahit gaano pa kagaling. Mas forgiving pa nga yung ABS eh kasi makikita mo sa cases nila JM de Guzman and even Baron Geisler. Ngkaroon pa rin ng ilang chances after ilang beses naligaw ng landas. Kahit si Jiro Manio noon nakailang chances ang ibinigay sa kanya pero wala talaga so sumuko din. Nung napunta si Jiro sa GMA, sinayang din niya yung chance na binigay sa kanya. Sana lang pangalagaan ni JLC yung chance na ibinibigay sa kanya ngayon. Iba na rin kasi ang viewing habit ng mga tao. Umayos siya para hindi siya maging nega.
