You can't please everyone nga, nung may continental grouping for semis at may speech. Inuulan din ng reklamo. Bias daw for other continents na may malalakas na candidates at sa speech, beauty contest daw hindi oratorical contest. Kaloka kayo.
Huwag kayong ma sad. Take inspiration from other beauty queens who did not place yet still succeed in other fields. Gal Gadot competed in Miss Universe. She didn't win but became Wonder Woman and more famous than all MU winners.
THIS! Winning a crown does not guarantee a good career. Take a look at Catriona Gray. She fits the bill of a perfect Miss U and won the crown. But disappointing lang na she wasnt given that much exposure and opportunities after her Miss U stint. Ang bagsak is dito lang sa Pilipinas and wala ding stable career. Mas marami pa ding endorsements si Pia Wurtzbach even if she won the crown earlier than Catriona. Winning the crown is not everything!
From what I understand she was a replacement candidate ng SA. Kahit lotlot Phils ngayon, the streak wasn't broken. You just need to accept Latinas ruled this yr, questionable nga lang.
iniba yung flow ng Miss U ngayon. Wala na yung mga speech, wala na rin yung mga pa top 3 at yung kukuha ng finalists from different continents. Mas dapat ibalik yon kasi parang rigged sa latina ngayon.
Pia and Cat were given opportunities. They still have ads and magazine covers in and out of the country. More lang kay Pia cause magaling siyang makisama at mas sincere siya.
