They don't buy and store vaccines in pairs anuva. They'll use every available vaccine to innoculate as many people as possible asap. Presumably they've calculated and ordered enough vaccines to be delivered in time for the second dosage. Besides it's not a must to have the second dose in two weeks on the dot. I know ppl who got their second vaccine after a month.

I even printed the waiver and the vaccine card but I learned that Yorme wanted it computerized so they do not sign on the card real time but as soon as you're fully vaccinated you can go back to your information online then you can have a printed copy of your filled out vaccination card.
And as per your concern po about the online thing, they do adjust naman kse our neighbors na Senior Citizens na walang access online or doesn't know how to were accepted as walk-ins. As long as you show an ID and/or medical data for comorbs then you are good to go. 🙂 They do not discriminate naman.
There can always go their health centers to get support on the online registration. Palagi nalang sinisisi ang gobyerno, mag isip din ng paraan para masolusyunan ang problema.

As far as I know Pfizer vaccines come in vials that still has to be reconstituted prior to administration. Parang each vial is 5 or 6 doses. I don't know saan galing yung "pares" na inilalaban ni basher.

He was being deported back to the Philippines kasi fraudulent yung application niya for permanent residence. He deliberately omitted na may asawa't anak na siya thinking na baka maka-apekto sa application niya. He made a plea na bago siya i-deport, ibigay sa kanya yung 2nd dose niya of Pfizer as worried siya he will never get that sa Pinas. Tahasan niyang sinabi in his interview, pang mayaman lang daw kasi ang Pfizer sa atin at binibigay lang sa madla yung Chinese at Russian vaccines. Taas kilay yung journalist interviewing him. To cut the story short, nasa airport na siya na pauwi na dapat when he got the news na granted yung plea niya to stay a little longer para makuha na niya yung scheduled 2nd dose niya.

I even printed the waiver and the vaccine card but I learned that Yorme wanted it computerized so they do not sign on the card real time but as soon as you're fully vaccinated you can go back to your information online then you can have a printed copy of your filled out vaccination card.

There can always go their health centers to get support on the online registration. Palagi nalang sinisisi ang gobyerno, mag isip din ng paraan para masolusyunan ang problema.

Ang latest recommendation kapag nagka-covid ka, you may get vaccinated as soon as your symptoms have cleared up and finished the isolation period. You may still get your second dose even if you contract the virus after your first shot.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I know Pfizer vaccines come in vials that still has to be reconstituted prior to administration. Parang each vial is 5 or 6 doses. I don't know saan galing yung "pares" na inilalaban ni basher.

And kung nagka covid ka naman you have to wait for a certain period before you can get vaccinated kaya mahirap yung sinasabing dapat kung nagka first dose ka na eh dapat sa second dose mo kung anong date na sinabi sayo kasi what if you get covid while waiting for the second dose. DeleteNot sure if anyone is familiar dun sa case ng isang Filipino health care worker here in Toronto. He was being deported back to the Philippines kasi fraudulent yung application niya for permanent residence. He deliberately omitted na may asawa't anak na siya thinking na baka maka-apekto sa application niya. He made a plea na bago siya i-deport, ibigay sa kanya yung 2nd dose niya of Pfizer as worried siya he will never get that sa Pinas. Tahasan niyang sinabi in his interview, pang mayaman lang daw kasi ang Pfizer sa atin at binibigay lang sa madla yung Chinese at Russian vaccines. Taas kilay yung journalist interviewing him. To cut the story short, nasa airport na siya na pauwi na dapat when he got the news na granted yung plea niya to stay a little longer para makuha na niya yung scheduled 2nd dose niya.

But, bec she went outside the country, she had her 1st Pfizer Vaccine. Then, bec of her connections, she was allowed to get her 2nd Vaccine in the Philippines and was guaranteed a Pfizer shot. I'm one of those GenX that took AstraZeneca a month ago when 40+ eligibility came out here in Toronto dahil at that time, yung lang ang widely available na vaccine here. Then they stopped giving it as a 1st dose dahil increasing ang numbers of blood clot issues. Ang konting mRNA vaccines that may have been available at that time na nagpaturok kami, napunta sa mga frontliners, not necessarily in our province pero sa ibang province. Weeks ago, sobrang pahirapan to book an appointment here kaya I'm positive, Alice got her vaccine in the US and not here.

1:53, do not compare vaccination process here sa California at sa Pinas. Umuulan ng vaccine dito sa CA. Sa Pinas every dose counts. For every 1,000 dose, only 500 will be administered for the 1st dose. The other 500 will be reserved for the 2nd dose at a later date. That's how vaccine rollout works.

ReplyDeleteMali ba magpabakuna sya dito kung may opportunity at means sya magpabakuna sa ibang bansa? No, BUT if she is THAT privileged enough to get vaccinated sa Canada, she also has the chance to help lessen the vax demand sa Pilipinas na nahihirapan due to limited vax supply. So tama pa ba o Mali na bumalik pa sha dito just for that second shot?
Mali bang ipangalandakan nya pa sa social media ang kanyang life of privilege at ipamukha sa libolibong Pinoy na naghihintay pa rin mabakunahan na ang dami nyang pwedeng pagkunan ng bakuna?
Alice is tactless. And she doesn't mind being tactless and offensive to most Pinoys' desperate plight just so she can post a content on her social media. Tactless.
kashungaan yan! sino naman nag-sabi na by pair yon? FYI...ang isang vial can accomodate up to 6 shots w/c means 6 na tao for a first dose, then next vial ulit- same with second dose...so on so forth...ateng! walang masasayang..
ReplyDeleteJust like in immunization, 1vial has 2 or more doses. 1 vial can have 2 or more people who can be inoculated. Hindi po sya iniistore once opened. Dapat ma use up lahat ng nasa vial. Yung next dose po naka reserve na din po sa kanilang nagparegister .Sa case ni Alice im not sure kung saan sa priority list sya na belong. A1 for frontliners, A2 for senior citizens and A3 for those who have comorbidities. Might be the government have considered her case kasi due nq ang next dose nya. Who knows? Unless si Alice mismo magsabi ng reason.
ReplyDeleteKung marami naman pala parating na bakuna, eh bakit hindi nakuha ni Chang Alice magintay. Kelangan sya mauna, hindi naman sya nasa priority list. Shame!
