The music scorer has wide music taste and music source to find a local artist’s craft. Good one, Shanti!
ReplyDeleteJeje rules. Ka cheapan
ReplyDeletePag Pinoy kacheapa agad?
DeleteMaganda un song kahit first time ko narinig ngayon bumagay sa scene. Im talking about the clip itself.
Delete12:35 Kacheapan? Baka in your life time dmo ma-achieve yan.
DeleteComing from rap fan, Shanti is one of the very few rappers (who has real talent) that came out this last couple of decades. I am very rarely impressed, specially now na parang kung ano ano lang lyrics basta sabihin lang rap. But this kids is good. Really good.
DeleteKaya sya kinuha ni Gloc 9 because he was really in awe when he first heard him rap. Even Francis M would have appreciated his music.
9.09am i totally agree with you! First time ko din narinig yung song. Bagay na bagay nga sa scene :)
Delete1235 ikaw number 1 example ng pinoy crab mentality for sure wala ka pa napapanood sa The Falcon & the Winter Soldier series. SMH!
Delete12:35 but being featured in a marvel tv show is the exact opposite of cheap and jeje doe
LoL
DeletePinoy nga naman!
DeleteBandwagon riders... UNITE :)
ReplyDeleteNoice! I like the beat. Just the beat.
ReplyDeleteAmats means "Tama"Is this something that we filipinos should be proud of? Im a bit confused..
DeleteThe song was used in the mcu, that’s a big deal! You don’t need to ride on someone’s success and be proud as a filipino but you can appreciate and be impressed that Shanti Dope, a filipino rapper was recognized and his song is featured in the biggest movie franchise in the world.
DeleteAt least nagamit sa MARVEL film ung song nia! Btw napanood mo ba ung EP 3 or should i say na nanonood ka ba ng series na yan? If not watch mo muna before ka kuda ok! Dun sa scene na ginamit yan song perfect fit cia dahil pumunta cla sa exotic place where there are asians and ung song ni Shanti binagay naman. Sisihin mo ung musical scorer ng series wag si Shanti kung di nia kasalanan napili song nia basta cia proud moment nia yan!
DeleteBasahin mo lyrics para maintindihan mo. He means high on music.
Delete6:27 Or baka mas bet namin suportahan ung mga rap songs ala Gloc9, alam mo un, may katuturan?
Gotta appreciate the new generation of rap, hindi yung stuck ka sa high school days around 2000s.
DeleteSome people can never be happy with other people’s success.
ReplyDeleteMeron at meron masasabi. Your cup of tea may be different from other people’s cup of tea. Yung cheap/ forgettable para sa inyo may be a different case dun sa musical scorer ng movie na I am sure nag aral yan at years ng trabaho yan to say he has the license to say that Shanti’s song is a good fit for their movie.
Simply having your music be used in a movie is already considered a great feat for local artists like Shanti.
True. Not my cup of tea but happy for him.
DeleteSino yang Shanti?
ReplyDeleteGoogle mo
DeleteO tapos? Grammys na, ganon?
ReplyDeleteAnd why not if deserving manalo sa Grammy’s? May problema ka ba don 2:01? Grammy’s not Grammys, fyi!
DeleteMaganda naman e, bagay dun sa scene. Nachi-cheapan tayo kasi tagalog. Same way na yung ibang latino, nachi-cheap-an sa reggaeton, hindi kasi alta yung mga artist tsaka bastos lagi yung lyrics, pero kung tatanggalin natin yung notion na cheap sya at papakinggan lang, the music is actually good.
ReplyDeletePang clout pa more.
ReplyDelete2:22 marvel ang pumili
Deletebat andaming mapait dito?
ReplyDeleteIsa sa resulta ng virus baks. Lol
DeleteBaka mga nagbuffet ng ampalaya
Delete4:42 Hello pag virus nawawala panglasa. Fake news ka bakz. Chosera.
Delete7:51 kaw naman masyadong literal lol
DeleteI watched that episode. I thought the song was Filipino, but I was not sure. Yung ibang hindi nakakaintindi at tingin nila cheap, you have to understand the context. They went to an exotic place where there are a lot of Asians, and therefore, the exotic sound - lots local instruments in the track. It was rap because it was supposed to be a 'seedy" place, dangerous, where a lot of criminals hang out. Just be happy for others. Just don't say "I am proud to be a Filipino." You did not do anything to produce the song, okay? Especially if you don't have any talent.
ReplyDeleteTrue sa "you did not do anything to produce the song." Just be happy for the rapper. Hindi yung Pinoy pride Pinoy pride achuchu.
DeleteSo pag rap equated to seedy, danger and criminals agad? Pa context-context ka pang nalalaman. Ikaw out of context. Babangon si Francis M sa pinagsasabi mo.
DeleteHina ng comprehension mo 7:54. Kaya nga may quotation marks sa seedy eh.
DeleteAs a pinoy na ginamit sa marvel series, that’s something to be proud of prass mga gumawa ng music.. ayan nanamn mga nakikiproud to be pinoy..
ReplyDeleteHappy for them! I like the beat
ReplyDeleteIt was good until the lyrics came. The lyrics did not suit the scene. Itbwould have been wayyyy cooler if beat lng, no lyrics. Dont get me wrong that ebtire Shanti Dope song is DOPE in its entirety!
ReplyDelete3 Types of Pinoy
ReplyDelete1. #ProudToBePinoy
2. “Cheap! Jeje! Yuck!”
I am number 3.
DeleteThis song went viral coz of the lyrics before...
ReplyDeleteBut hey if you are Shanti proud moment mo to.... Congrats...
Some people misunderstood the lyrics. He actually meant, you don't need drugs just get high on music
DeleteThis!
ReplyDeleteActually a pretty dope beat and fit the context. Stop hating over another's win. It's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteWala talagang gamot sa crab mentality ano? Dami nila dito.
ReplyDeleteMas nakakaproud kung Marvel movie.
ReplyDeletePart of the MCU ang Falcon and Winter Soldier so parang Marvel movie na rin
In fairness, Marvel yan! Very unexpected, galing
ReplyDeleteAng dope talaga ni shanti
