  4. dito sa US, pag may dispute ka or unauthorized use sa card mo within 7 days resolved na, with refund. My card was used twice in another state, I have to change my card twice as well. Di ko alam bakit sa pinas pag may bank issues hindi kaya maresolve agad.

    2. Not even 7 days, my bank and credit union gives me instant temporary credit for any unauthorized transaction I reported on my credit or debit cards. Then it becomes a permanent credit after they have completed the investigation! Maganda talaga ang proteksyon na binibigay sa comsumers dito sa Amerika! And credit card issuers should abide the rules and regulations strictly set ny Visa and Mastercard for disputes! Gladys, you have RIGHTS!

    4. Protected kasi ang consumers sa US. 0 liability on fraud transactions. At financial review lang ginagawa nila to recover loss. And they have threshold for fraud losses. :)

  6. My sibling also had his hsbc card hacked. Galing ibang bansa ang transaction. The bank declined the dispute kahit obvious naman na hacking. Ang daming ganitong complaints sa hsbc if you do your research, parang inside job na. Shady talaga ang bangko na yan, the were after all charged and fined for money laundering.

    4. Please be fair, HSBC has their OTPs and every bank has some cases like this. Na highlight lang with Glaiza's case.

  12. Ktakot ang hacking sa Pinas. I opened an acct sa bdo para lang sa payment ko ng smdc property. It comes with a VISA atm card. I never used that ATM card ever. Sa SG ako naka base, pag silip mo sa account ko me nag charge sa debit card ko ng bill from a bar sa makati. Grabe ang tagal pa ng investigation. Although they returned back the amount deducted.
Sa Pinas pag nag report ka, they will make you feel na nang gagangcho ka. Wala silang empathy sa situation at all.

    1. Very true! At napakarami pang charges dito! Magba-balance check ka lang may fee na! Puro pahirap sa customers! Sad thing is walang politician ang nagbi-bring up nito sa kongreso or senado! Bakit kaya???

  13. Wala bang OTP yang hsbc, karamihan kasi ng mga credit card ngayon lahat ng online transactions may dalawang beses na prompt, first one iveverify kung nagsesend ka nga ng ganitong amount then second yung OTP na
