I guess you're right, pero as a fellow panget parang mas ok ako when I finally found solace sa katotohanan na panget ako. Parang hindi na ako makakahanap ng saya sa pag change ng standard to fit me when it comes to beauty. Ibang saya yung naramdaman ko simula nung nakita ko ang sarili ko sa salamin and objectively alam ko na pangit at mataba ako relative sa societal standards, but I root for myself anyway despite of it.

But if you felt like you wanted to edit the photo out then by all means you can also do so :) Lets not make filter shaming a thing since there really are a lot of people who has deep rooted issues regarding their bodies,skin and imperfections and in a way it’s their way of masking reality. I think people should be more understanding towards this. Natutunan ko lang to sa isang subject namin and I think this topic should be addressed with kindness.
Whats wrong with people using filters tho haha madami akong kilala na ginagawa pa ngang white or blue yung buhok nila na sobrang animated na ichura nila pero choice nila yun so problemahin paba natin yun? hahaha

Harsh pero yun ang realidad. Pansin ko kasi na marami yung ganyan na nagpro promote ng everyone is beautiful etc etc but it is too ideal and unrealistic and parang siopao o basketball..bolahan. Also, on the other end, yung mga social justice warriors mag react or will cancel people if they say na this and that are ugly. Sa mga nagkukuda na nanggaling sya sa mundo ng pageantry at walang karapatan mag spread ng message on defining beauty, pinanganak nga naman syamg maganda but she's not making it the only thing about her. It's about taking what you're born with (in her case, beauty and brains) and using it to do good. May platform sya at ginagamit nya ito sa magandang paraan. Sad na may mga di nakaka kita nito at ka negahan nakikita. Salamin muna kayo at makita nyo ka negahan nyo.

Ewan ko sayo but from the start she has stayed true to herself or at least her branding. Andun pa rin advocacies nya like promoting culture, children's welfare at Red Cross ambassador.
A beauty queen na lagi sa derma, masustansyang pagkain, airconditioning 24/7, can afford a ton of beauty products, not to mention a glam team. Sige Ateng, i-judge natin yung mga taong walang access sa mga binanggit ko.
