    2. Parang ganun din sa Globe. They send you an OTP tapos send mo sa kanila. Verification yun. And yes legit na Globe sa Messenger.

    3. Guys ganun sa globe. I have asked for their assistance time and time again and they always ask for thr OTP they send to your phone for verification. This is Globe on Messenger and talktoGlobe on Twitter. So hindi mo masasabi na don't give out yung OTP kasi legit hinihingi ng Globe rep yan. Tapos lalayasan ka after without a resolution. Pero yung MPIN yung malala.

    7. Rule no.1, huwag na huwag ibibigay ang OTP kahit kanino. Nag ask pa ng personal info. Halatang scammer...oh well, there are some people talaga na hinde pa rin aware sa mga modus ng mga scammer.

    8. Agree ba’t nya binigay? Any bank or financial institution will NEVER ask for your PIN or any other info - they have that on record. Normally if a customer who calls and want to access their account not the orher way around. The bank wiill notify thru or email or text if there is a fraudulent transaction. Take note notify nit ask for pin or personal info

    2. Tawag po dyan ay SMS Sender Spoofing. They are using an application that would hide the real sender’s number and make it the name they want it. Meron na ding Caller ID Spoofing. Same objective.

  13. Once nag ask ng MPIN/PW/OTP eh dapat maalarm ka na. Wag kayo matakot mag online transactions. Basta alert kayo, hindi kayo maloloko.

  14. Di siguro nagbabasa ng email reminders. In fairness naman sa banks, gcash, etc, laging may reminder NEVER SHARE YOUR OTPs and passwords. #jusko

    1. 1:28 korek! even before Covid lagi na ko nag online banking sa BPI, GCash ginagamit ko pero paminsan minsan lang. Ang BPI laging nagrremind, do not give out your OTP to anyone. Kung registered kayo sa BPI online banking, may settings din dun, pwede ka nila i-notify every withdrawal. Ang pangit ng experience ko sa Unionbank. In a month, halos 10 emails nakukuha ko sa kanila na obvious na scam. Minessage ko na Unionbank na dami nagssend scam emails and track naman nila, deadma sila.

  15. Yung gcash agent kausap mo pero sila daw nag send ng BPI OTP! Andaming trabaho Baks, gcash agent na, taga BPI pa! Presence of mind din talaga plus read reminders ng banks, etc. Never share nga dabaaaa?!

  17. Gcash palang, mali na ang capitalization. GCash dapat. Pati it should be normal to check lagi if the account is verified before responding.

    Online banking comes with responsibilities, too.

  21. Asking for OTP and MPIN is already a red flag. Likwewise, sentence construction of the SMS sent was really terrible. Globe as a big corporation definitely won't send comms like that.

  26. Precaution lang, never ever give out passwords, OTP, personal info or anything over the phone or through email. If you receive an email asking you to complete an “update form” or asking you to click on a link to update your details, NEVER do so. If the email is from a particular bank rep, just reply and say you will call the bank to update. Then call the bank and ask them if you really need to update and then update it immediately over the phone. Don’t forget to take the name of the person you are speaking to.

  27. Kaya dapat iregister na ang mga cellphone numbers. Para pag may manloloko mahuli agad. Basura rin yung mga disregarded sim cards. Bibili lang sim card para manloloko ang mura kasi naman ng puhunan.isang sim card 30-40 pesos lang. Pag lumang sin may 10 pesos pa.Kita agad ng malaki isa lang maloko

  28. Dami typo pero di napansin nakakaloka. Kapag nagtweet ka na may issue ka sa gcash, matic yung mga scammers mag dm sayo na gcash customer support sila. Check lagi yung account kung legit ba kasi madalas new accounts at konti followers. Never din manghihingi ng otp or mpin. Eto ding si ronnie di nag iingat, masyado paniwalain.

  33. sorry pero ang b niya. lol. kung i-ttype mo ang GCash sa Twitter, may lalabas na apat na same ang DP. isa ay verified: @/gcashofficial . napansin ko sa tatlong spammers, lahat ng nag-ttweet ng concerns sa gcashoffical ay nirereplyan nila na i-follow daw sila kasi hindi nila ma-DM.. for sure yung iba na-d-DM nila agad.. haaaaayssss.. ingat ingat na lang talaga online mga boi! the spammers : gcashresolver , gcashresolve at gcashresolves

  34. My God! Hindi nya nahalatang scammer? Medj slow sya sa part na yun.

    I have been using GCash for years now and ang dami-dami nilang reminder to not transact or entertain anyone from Messenger. They don't have a customer support sa Messenger. They even have in-app reminders, sa official FB page ng GCash - they have been reminding users to use the app's Live Chat or Help Center.

    Please people, if you have a GCash concern, you either call 2882 using Globe sim, submit a ticket through app's Help Center or talk to a Live Chat rep through the app too.

    Always check if a GCash page - IG, FB or Twitter is official. It has the blue check mark.

    Also, do not raise your concern on the comment section of any posts from these official pages, may mga scammer na nakaabang. Mga slapsoil, deadhungry sob!
