Sometimes she seems defensive, but maybe it's because so many people attack her choice. If he's also kind, mature and supports her fully, I get it. Obviously he's rich and stable, that part's the easy bit. Since she got together with him, it seems she's gained the freedom and autonomy she always yearned for. He also lets her pursue her passions. Pretty awesome deal. That's not saying Jericho or whoever wouldn't have done the same, but maybe she also needed the understanding, stability and financial security that Chiz offers - the level of which, the others couldn't. Let's be real, it matters to someone like her, and to many others. Nothing wrong with that.
