      Delete
    5. Tanong, bakit kailangan ipromote ung gusto nyo? As long na wala naman syang ginagawang masama db. Its her freedom to cook whatever she wants or to prepare.

      Delete
    6. What does that have to do with anything? Rizal himself was dating foreigners more than his own.

      Delete
    7. “To answer your question” daw e wala namang question yung nagcomment lol

    8. 3:33 Sabi nung nagcomment Maybe they dont have one so medyo patanong yung comment nya.

Even my kid kahit laki sa ibang bansa nagmamano sya.

Hehehe and true it’s about American history but ironically native Indians hate thanksgiving , because it was the day where pilgrims fooled them and grabbed their lands.

    6. When I was onboard they always served us, the crew, a roasted turkey, totoo na malasa sya but honestly mas masarap pa rin ang chicken

      Delete
    7. Turkey, dry sya.

    15. Hahaha true 2:05. In my first Thanksgiving here, my sister prepared food and invited friends to come over. Syempre sya nagprepare ng turkey while ako at Nanay namin pinaluto nya ng lumpia, pansit canton, Pinoy barbecue (on stick) at chicken macaroni salad.

      Delete
    16. I dont like it. Tried eating turkey kaso naalala ko ung wattle ng turkey kaya diko sya manguya. Meron kasi kami alagang mga pabo dati sa probinsya..wattle ung red thingy sa bandang neck nila na kulubot kulubot hehe..and bakit nga pala nakikithanks giving sila? In america yan tlg ang big deal na sinifelebrate e. Hindi ang pasko at NY. Spent xmas and NY in the US last dec and it was just an ordinary day.

      Delete
    17. Chicken kayo dyan. It has to be turkey on the Thanksgiving table because it's tradition.
Atchara instead of gravy or buko pie instead of pumpkin or apple pie to make you happy.

      Delete
    18. 2:23AM! No wonder my joints hurt whenever I binge on Turkey!

    4. 9:30 The first Thanksgiving after Confederation was observed on 5 April 1872. A national civic holiday rather than a religious one, it was held to celebrate the recovery of the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) from an illness. Thanksgiving was first observed as an annual event in Canada on 6 November 1879. That's from the Canadian Encyclopedia website. I'm Filipino holding a canadienne passport. My daughter speaks French.

    5. 930, according to National Geographic, Canada celebrated Thanksgiving decades before the Pilgrims in the US. Canadian Thanksgiving kicked off with a feast of biscuits, salt beef, and mushy peas in 1578, whereas the American one was first celebrated in 1621.

    5. 2:12, 🙋🏻‍♀️ guilty. We didn’t celebrate any Filipino holiday but we celebrated Spring and Mid-Autumn festivals when my mom was alive. But now that she’s gone we’ve stopped celebrating it and we only celebrate Easter Sunday and Christmas.

  14. Where’s the lie though? Hilig natin makigaya sa Thanksgiving, Halloween etc. Pati yang kaechosan na Friendsgiving ginaya pa. Admit it. Pag sariling atin deadma tong mga to pero pag Western influence kahit ano pa man yan they portray it as cool.

  16. Sadly that's a fact. It runs through our blood. Our ancestors were greatly influenced by the conquers of other blood to our land. And we've adapt to different cultures that conquered us. We became one of them. Though during those times specially the spanish era. Some parts of the Philippines retained their Filipino cultures that's why 'till today we still recognise those native Filipino norms. But we actually became one of those foreign cultures that invaded us. Eversince then, we aren't full native Filipino anymore. Even the "Pagmamano" were influences from China, that's according to studies. We are mixed up race. We are a li'l bit of everything lol! It's runs through our blood eversince the first foreign invasion.

Isabele i like you dahil matalino ka, sana wag kalimutan ang culture natin at pagiging filipino.. yan kasi ikauunlad nang pinas ang di pag limot sa pinag mulan. Look at Korea and China sobrang halaga ngculture nila sa food man o fashion kaya ganun sila ka rich na bansa

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. China yes, it’s the oldest culture Hmm korea? No. Their culture is from Japan can you not see the similarities? Fyi na colonize ang korea ng japan, thus the traditional wear, head dress, bleached skin color etc.

      Delete
    2. Actually Korea is more like in between China and Japan culture. But both Korea and Japan cultures were influenced by China as thousands and hundred years ago, China was a massive empire with very rich history. Korea was once a basal state of China. That’s why you’ll see in Chinese calligraphy in Korea’s temple and Japanese writing in Kanji. Anyway, I know Filipinos hate China but just stating facts.
