Nakow!
It seems like condo na lang yata ang maganda tirhan jan sa Marikina and the rest of Manila. I've lived there for a few years, I can't imagine the stress of living in a pandemic and battling traffic and floods.
Hay naku, why are they allowed to build houses there when they already know that these are flood prone areas. They will be flooded there many many more times in the future. Why waste good money? Makes no sense.
Well, to be frank, marikina and other flooded areas have a very bleak future. In fact they have no future because climate change will bring more very strong typhoons and raise the sea level, flooding these areas more constantly. These are scientific facts.
I may not like her and her past but what she said in the video is true! Relate ako. We only need to hold on to God..Siya lang yung constant dito sa mundo. All will fade.
Buong Marikina nalubog sa Chocolate Milk. Ito ang New Orleans natin.

ReplyDeleteOh well, they have to move to higher ground. That’s the only logical and sane solution on that perennial problem.
