Haha you are all wrong to think she’s exaggerating the Aussie accent . It’s the opposite actually , I live here in Australia and I can tell you, to me she sounds like she’s trying to get rid of her Aussie accent and say words properly but she probably unconsciously struggles to do so. I disagree with most of the comments here. I thiught Anne was cute. It was Dua that lacked enthusiasm. About the accent, I think there is an unintentionsl and natural tendency for a person to assume the accent of the other person he/she’s talking to.
If you hear Aussies speak, they really do have a distinct twang in their accent. Anne is not exaggerating. Her accent actually seems subdued compared to native Australians. And the twang is more noticeable now more than ever because she probably picked it up again after talking to people who speak like that everyday that they’ve been in Melbourne.

The star of the interview is Dua and Anne’s overreactions take the attention away from Dua making Anne appear unprofessional and desperate for attention. Dua is very calm with low energy but I can tell she can talk about deep stuff; then it would change to Anne who is giddy and shallow. It’s confusing going back and forth and frustrating that the artist is held back from discussing deep things. I prefer an interviewer who has their own personality but can match the vibe of the person they are interviewing. Otherwise it’s painful to watch.

She’s lives in the Philippines almost her entire life, she lost her accent longggggg ago! She’s spoken English so many times and I’ve never heard her have an accent until now😂😂

Anne is so annoying... walang ka poise poise infront of mga sikat na foreigners. Hindi dapat sya ang pinay celeb na may pinakamaraming socmed followers at isa sya sa mga sobrang pinasikat ng abs cbn na nago-object talaga ako.

Sympre magsshare ka ng kwento mo about good things and what do u feel. Eh ok naman interview ni anne eh. Kung magpakita sya na boring or snob sya diba pangit ng dating. Mas maigi na maging oa at full of joy kesa naman naging unfriendly tayo. And why Dua looks bored? Eh thats not a good attitude. Kung bored sana d nalang nagpainterview diba?
ReplyDeleteThe star of the interview is Dua and Anne’s overreactions take the attention away from Dua making Anne appear unprofessional and desperate for attention. Dua is very calm with low energy but I can tell she can talk about deep stuff; then it would change to Anne who is giddy and shallow. It’s confusing going back and forth and frustrating that the artist is held back from discussing deep things. I prefer an interviewer who has their own personality but can match the vibe of the person they are interviewing. Otherwise it’s painful to watch.

Kaya nga sya nasa hosting position kasi hindi sya boring. Kahit naman siguro sino magiinterview sa mga foreign artist, kailangang may buhay talaga. Eh may mga fans din sila dito sa Pinas. Feeling ko porket British accent lang kausap nya kya TH sya. Ni hindi man lng naghanda ng mga tanong puro "like" at "uhmmms" lang napaka-shallow pa ng mga tanong mas mhaba pa intro sa sarili kesa sa tanong jusme. Super OA ng accent ndi yan Aussie accent.
