Hate is a strong word. World is already full of negativity.
Kung yan pananaw nyo edi go.
A few years ago i attended a forum exclusively for govt agencies and embassies. It was about security relations ek-ek. One of the speakers was the korean ambassador. Yung finale ng report nya ay about kpop! Kakaloka! Nga-nga kaming lahat lalo na yung mga military and US emba. Haha!
I also hate k-pop but off lang yung “mas magaling mag-english” remark. Speaking English does not make you superior. Korea is more advanced and richer than the Philippines “despite” not being fluent in English.
Nurses and teachers would rather work in call centers because hindi tama pa-suweldo sa kanila.
Anyway, back to the topic: I prefer OPM. Filipinos are better singers. Let’s stick to our genre.
@1:52 Omg! Tumpak! Lol
OPM songs all sound the same. Melodramatic RNB wannabe love songs. Filipinos are good at hitting notes that’s it. We are not musically inclined like say Indians who have at least 5 songs in every Bollywood movie they produce.
Sad but true..
Admiring foreign artists does not mean one is losing his identity as a Filipino. Bakit nga ba kinahihiligan ang Kpop now? Coz of their reach, their catchy songs, etc . If only OPM step up their game, tiyak marami din even the youth of today mahihiligan makinig sa OPM songs.
Yeeeess 2:56. Ang masakit p nga dito is kakarelease lng ng kanta (new one), eh nabigyan n kaagad ng cover. Tpos, mas sumikat p ang cover than the orig one.
C'mon guys, ibang level n ang obsession ng mga kpop fans/tard, you can't disagree with them they will hate you if give your opinion on kpop/korean shows, DDD levels na. I get it kanya kanya hilig pero ang lala na madalas, hindi na objective. Hindi ko ipapatalo ang beauty ng mga filipino and of course ang singing voice ng mga pinoy.
I have to say this, there are a lot of filipino, european, SE and SE asian movies pero makikita mo ang trending korean. Hindi lumalawak ang taste ng mga tao in terms of movies and series kasi nakahon sa korean style of acting, face na hindi na gumagalaw at wala ng expressions.
IMELDA IS RIGHT ABOUT KPOP EVEN THOUGH SHE'S WRONG ABOUT THE ENGLISH STUFF. Totoo naman talagang mga pinoy kpop fans gustong itakwil ang lahi nila just to become korean which is really stupid and disrespectul to our ancestors. You can't deny it... nagkalat sa social medias ang mga drama ng mga kpoper na yan na gusto daw nila maging koreano, koreana and it really pisses me off.
Wag siyang umarte. Hindi porket mestiza ay sisikat siya.
Excuse me, may karapatan naman mga tao mamili ako gusto nila pakinggan at panuurin. Ang kopp hindi lang naman hit sa Philippines, it's all over the world.
Agree that K pop or K wave is not isolated in the Philippines.
And to those people who think that K drama/wave is corny, remember that the best picture from the Oscars this year is a Korean movie.
UHMMMM, CAN YOU REALLY BLAME THE FLIPINOS THOUGH? hOW CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN IDENTITIES WHEN WE WERE OCCUPIED BY SPAIN FOR MORE THAN 300 YRS, THEN, AMERICANS, THEN A FEW YRS BY THE JAPANESE. OUR CULTURE IS VERY RICH DUE TO THOSE NUMBER OF INFLUENCES. TECHNICALLY, OUR REAL IDENTITIES ARE THOSE OF THE MANGYANS/ AETAS/IGOROT, ETC. IF THIS LADY WAS BORN IN THE 80S, AND EARLY 90S, BKA MAS MA OVERWHELM SYA SA MGA WESTERN INFLUENCES SA PINAS. OR MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE KOREAN LANGUAGE THAT'S WHY SHE'S REACTING LIKE THIS, BECAUSE MUSIC WISE, MAS MALAKI AP REN INFLUENCE NG WESTERNERS THAN KOREANS SA PINAS.
Both are influenced by one way or another lol its just mas invested ng bongga ang korean govt in supporting their arts na lumaki sila ng ganito. Mapakpop or kdrama or kmovies. And now super nagbebenefit sila. 12:41
12:29 precisely malaki inlfuence ng mga nanakop satin and it’s part of culture of pinas.
Gurl, pinapahiya mo lng sarili mo. Manahimik k nlng kasi nagmumukha k lng hypocrite.
tignan mo naman last name ni girl. Kung siya nga halfie. So I think may karapatan din naman ang mga viewers kung gustuhin ang foreign serye or music etc.
does she not notice how lately most of the new Filipino music is in English? Even Filipino artists are continuously reviving/covering English songs from foreign artists. but does she have any problem with that? I guess not.
girl, just because we like KPOP doesnt mean im losing my Filipino Card. Like me, i like KPOP and OPM. P
Please do not equate liking foreign music to losing our patriotism or not being Filipino.
This! I learned to appreciate Kpop nitong covid lang and i now understand kpop fans.
I have friends and relatives who like Kpop pero hindi naman nawawala ang identity nila. Music transcends language. It is a form of escapism and it just so happens that Koreans are good at entertaining. They produce music with a global reach in mind. Respect other people's preferences na lang instead of imposing her likes and dislikes on other people. At tsaka matagal na tayong heavily influenced by Western music. Our taste in music and even movies have gone diverse.
Tama. Music knows no boundaries. Di pa nga maintindihan ngayon kasi masyadong slang at loaded with innuendo.
Except for the English bit, finally someone bothered to speak up!
Super agree! 99 percent about what she said is right except the english thing and the kpopers are just focusing on that one thing to make her sound wrong.
True. Sobrang obsessed. Lagi na lang may "Apologize to" para sa idol na feeling nila inaapi na naman๐ Or makiki-"academic freeze" kasi gulo ng internet pero next tweet magtatawag ng 24/7 streaming para ipromote new video.
Look it up. Pati yung questionable na album cover. She's just salty walang pumansin na may album pala siya. And what better way to gain attention than to attack Kpop fans.
English ba ang batayan on which who you should admire? I agree na Pinoys should stop imitating what is hot right now. They should come up with something uniquely their own. You saying you hate K-pop shows envy and insecurity.
Kpop is also heavily influenced by hip-hop and american pop. They are very good in packaging their idols. I dont like kpop music also because the idols usually lip sync and the content of the songs are shallow. Parang mga robots. Its form over substance. People in the OPM industry should improve the quality of the music though to catch up with the world.
For sure eh some time din sa buhay mo, you have followed some group.
Pero sabihin mo I like this girl because she "hates" k-pop there is something wrong with you. Hate is a big word.
I used to hate kpop. Nahusguhan ko agad ang kpop in genderal just because of the few very popular "idol songs" that I heard. Kung interesado kayo, search for Ailee, Hyolyn, Eunkwang, Mamamoo, Solar, Sam Kim, Eric Nam... For bands search nyo The Rose, Hyukoh, Seso Neon (although iba dito baka hindi na pasok sa kpop). Flex ko rin ang krnb nila. Magaling din rnb ng Korea. Personal fave is "Primary" who's a producer. Manood kayo ng shows like Fantastic Duo o kaya Immortal Songs Para marinig nyo ang mga Korean singers na kumanta ng mga classic songs nila. And BTW, I love OPM too. From Nonoy Zuniga to Ben&Ben to Wolfgang to Jay-R, etc...
Actually, i have a lot of korean songs in my spotify. Being a music junkie myself, i listen to korean songs not just mga songs ng sikat like bts (na sobrsng toxic ng fans) or whatever kpop group. So yeah, i love korean music.
Because a song is not only made up of lyrics.. a movie is not only made up of lines.. there are a lot of elements in a song or movie that people appreciate..
You have a lot to learn. There are french songs that are great to listen to, spanish and Italian too. There are movies in foreign languages that you need to watch.
I myself don't get the kpop hype pero kdrama I get, my subtittles naman at maganda pagkakagawa. I guess it's a phase, may 5 yr time frame like any other artists.
,Ano to double standard kakaloka!
True i attended a fanmeeting before at diko naman inexpect na merong handshake na mangyayari. Saw jung hae in upclose and ang dami tlg mas gwapong pinoy artista. Napaisip nga ako that time..sabi ko walang wala ito pag natabi kay piolo pascual! But ewan anong magic meron ang korean celebrities.
Same goes with TV and movies here.
If you listen to your local radio station, 95% ng mga kanta are from American artists. Tapos Losing our Filipino identity pag K-pop ang gusto? Ano kayo yun. May prejudice Lang?
No. Hindi lahat ng korean music is Kpop. In Korea, Idol music ang tawag sa kanila. Twice/Blackpink/ etc.
The word ''kpop'' comes from the west, hindi sa Korea.
I started with kdramas and love the soundtracks too. Then eventually got introduced sa kpop music out of curiosity na din kay Sandara (2NE1). Then ayan na ang Big Bang and other kpop groups. But now I love BTS. ๐
So kpop lang ang ayaw nya? And she also hates people trying to look korean? Pro ok sa kanya yung ibang foreign songs and people trying to look like caucasians?
Had to google kng sino sya.hehe Anyways, ok lang naman kng hate nya kpop. Basta ako I like it, just as I like westlife, blue, f4, metallica, parokya ni edgar, hale, eraserheads.. whether I understand the lyrics or not, I'm all about the music..galingan mo na lang girl sa pagkanta para magthrive ka sa music mo.. no need to hate on others..
As If this girl support and listen to OPM music na Tagalog and watches teleserye . If yun nag papasaya sa kanila Let them be.
Ummm, Taylor Swift, can you react to this KPop hater. Representative ka pa naman, Ms Earth, Di ba Dapat mat tact and diplomacy. Hate is a strong word. Beke nemen as a singer inggit ka Lang. Ok. You’ve got the attention. Now show us if you’ve got it’s chops....and by the way, you can be good at singing but if you don’t have the charisma and the humility it’s going to be along climb up there if you can even reach that.
Sounds xenophobic to me. You can lose your own Filipino identity even without listening to Korean pop. Our being Filipino and its degree aren’t dependent or measured by our interests.
As for the English comment, she must have forgotten that it’s a language brought by colonizers. So there’s that too.
Hating on something won’t make people listen to her music. She could have spoken about Filipino original music and her own music without bringing something down.
No wonder she had to give up the crown she won years ago. She was running her mouth... just like what she is doing now. Stay salty.
If we are to believe her, then we should all stop watching movies and TV shows or admiring bands that aren't Filipinos. Why pick on just 1 country? My favorite band when I was young was Duran Duran and I had all their albums and posters and even dressed the way they did, but last I checked pinoy na pinoy pa rin ako - sa pag galang ko sa mga matanda, sa faith ko, sa mga gusto kong kainin at marami pang iba. I don't speak with a british accent too! This girl is just a bigot and her opinion should NEVER matter.
it's okay not to get the hype about kpop. some people don't get the hype about your idol too, and thats okay. but to hate them just because you don't get them?? something is wrong with you gurl
I’m never a kdrama follower but out of curiosity i watched one after another..the plot is universal but the production is good as well as the cinematography but most of the faces of the actors are scientifically enhanced, the guys look effimenate and the girls doll like, you can’t figure their real looks anymore but they’re good actors though..compared to phil. cinema they’re way better. The kpop groups they’re mediocre singers but their choreography are well rehearsed but the younger generation goes gaga over them, i dunno why..my opinion.
Agree ako sa kanya.actually wala akong kilalang kpop artist if i see any of them in photos sorry.isa lang gusto ko sa korea si jang hyuk lang coz i accidentally watched a snippet of fated to love you on facebook lol.pero sa mga singers wala akong kilala ni wala ako maalalang names parang parepareho lol.
Wag nalang tayong bitter. Hindi sila marunong mag english pero mas sikat sila in other parts of the world than our singers. Ibig sabihin nun may tama silang ginagawa.
I have no problems with Filipino fans liking foreign artists. I have a problem with filipino artists & celebrities copying Koreans professionally like SB19. I find them super gross and cringey.
ALL THESE KPOP FANS WHO ARE BUTTHURT ABOUT HER "HATING" KPOP BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM IT'S TOO MEAN ARE HYPOCRITES.
DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T SPEW HATE IN SOCIAL MEDIAS OVER THE PETTIEST THINGS. THE CELEBRITIES YOU HUMILIATED, THE FANDOM WARS... DON'T ACT LIKE WE'VE NEVER HEARD ABOUT THOSE. HECK, YOU CAN EVEN HATE EACH OTHER BECAUSE OF COMPETITION WITH YOUR OPPAS. REMEMBER YOUR FELLOW PH ARMY WHO IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY TAEHYUNG IN THEIR MANILA CONCERT YEARS AGO??? YEAH, DON'T ACT LIKE YOU KPOP FANS DID NOT HUMILIATE AND BASHED HER TO DEATH. YOU SAID THE WORST THINGS ABOUT THAT HELPLESS GIRL COMPARED TO WHAT IMELDA IS SAYING ABOUT KPOP RIGHT NOW.
have you seen them(kpop) performed? its what you called entertainment.they are putting so much effort in their every performance and they promote self love in their songs.they do not just stand there and sing cover songs.and their kdrama they dont need to kill lots of characters thru violence and have so much sex scenes and stories are engaging.i love opm pero di sa lahat ng oras opm pakikinggan mo.u can have both worlds without hating the other.and yes i dont watch pinoy serye kakaumay stories.
There's a lot of demonic symbolisms in some kpop music videos and in some of their live performances in korea too. I won't mention names of these groups and solo acts but there's a lot of them... Really dark, shady industry not to mention their slave system... No wonder why a lot of kpop fans are really, really toxic people.
Say what you want to say kpop tards, but we Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC fans never declared that we wanted to be americans and that we were so unlucky to be born in the wrong country and we never wanted to sell our kidneys just to purchase merchs and concert tickets! Sino ang bad influence ngayon?
Ako din nagtaka before bakit ang daming gusto ng kpop so I tried watching. Realized how they are professionally trained even sa music composition and playing instruments. So I think andun ang respeto ng Pinoy pagdating sa dedication to their craft and teamwork. You will appreciate it when you give it a chance.
Prangkahan na tayo, IF THE PEOPLE WHO SANG DNA, FIRE, LOVESHOT AND LET'S KILL THIS LOVE WERE UGLY AND DEFINITELY NOT THEIR TYPE, KPOP FANS WON'T EVEN BOTHER SUPPORTING AND SEARCHING FOR ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF THOSE SONGS.
What a way to get fans - galeng naman neto! Haters will hate and curious fans will look her up and check all her social media accts to bash her! Talino!
Kasi ultimong kakalabas lng ng kanta, nacover n agad and mas sumikat p kesa s original.
Filipinos are so pathetic. Imagine supporting and even defending a group of people who're likely stepping in you due to the color of your skin.
I’d rather watch a kpop concert na original na kanila ang music rather than a Pinoy artist na kakantahin puro foreign songs. Kopyang kopya pa dance steps, outfit, and makeup. Pinoy music needs to step up. Sama mo na dramas and films. Not hating just stating facts!
What an entitled whiner! Talk about sour graping. I am not a KPop fan but I respect all music choices. Gusto nitong babaeng ito siya yung sambahin. Napaghahalata g ingitera.
She has a point. I dunno why Filipinos went gaga over kpop pati itsura nila ginagaya eh hindi naman lahat bumabagay.
I get it na dapat walang basagang trip. And it’s your choice kung anong klaseng music gusto nyo.
But sobrang fanatic na, pati tv puro kdrama nlng.
Stop it, you're making too much sense! /s Pero seriously, we're in the minority here. It's sad but here we are. I'm praying that more Filipinos wake up. Koreans don't care about you, they just want that soft power and they're racists.
Naibaon lang sa limot ng mga taong sumasamba sa anything foreign gaya ng mga kpop tards nato who don' t even bother to research anymore about the REAL history of the PH and just declare WE DON'T HAVE IDENTITY THAT'S WHY I LOVE KOREANS, I WANNA MARRY KOREANS, ALL KOREANS ARE GWAPO AND ALL THOSE NONSENSE.
THE BEST CLASSIC OPM HITS ARE FAR SUPERIOR THAN KPOP HITS TODAY. PERIOD. IBA ANG DATING NG GREATEST OPM HITS, MAY DISTINCT SOUL AND HEART NA HINDI MO MAKIKITA SA ANUMANG KPOP SONGS NA YAN.
OPM/Ppop will be the next big thing worldwide and no, hindi yung mga sinasabi nyo mga revival ng revival at Jumbo hotdog, spaghetting pababa ang mag-aangat nyan kaya tumahimik na lang kayo okay? That's all!
English fluency has no bearing on music. Music is music. So it's okay to support American music and not K-Pop? I enjoy good quality music in genres I enjoy regardless of race - English, French, Spanish, Korean. As for OPM, bands from the 90s were cool, and there are some sentimental tunes that are good. But the Philippine music industry is nowhere near the Koreans. Let's not even mention the quality of their TV shows. The Philippines' cannot compare, not even a little. Let's give credit where it's due. You accept the superiority of American shows but not that of Koreans?
I like this girl!!!!
DeleteYou like racists?!

Pilitang pilita corales.
Sila ung grupong fake it til u make it lol
Kung yan pananaw nyo edi go.
DeleteLol. Kamote! Walang ganun! If meron yun is direct to the networks, and binibigay lang naman nila ang gisto ng tao which is, K drama and music.
Haha!
DeleteI also hate k-pop but off lang yung “mas magaling mag-english” remark. Speaking English does not make you superior. Korea is more advanced and richer than the Philippines “despite” not being fluent in English.
ReplyDeleteNurses and teachers would rather work in call centers because hindi tama pa-suweldo sa kanila.
Anyway, back to the topic: I prefer OPM. Filipinos are better singers. Let’s stick to our genre.
Anong genre? Yung puro revival? Lol.
Delete@1:52 Omg! Tumpak! Lol
DeleteOPM songs all sound the same. Melodramatic RNB wannabe love songs. Filipinos are good at hitting notes that’s it. We are not musically inclined like say Indians who have at least 5 songs in every Bollywood movie they produce.
Sad but true..
DeleteAdmiring foreign artists does not mean one is losing his identity as a Filipino. Bakit nga ba kinahihiligan ang Kpop now? Coz of their reach, their catchy songs, etc . If only OPM step up their game, tiyak marami din even the youth of today mahihiligan makinig sa OPM songs.
DeleteYeeeess 2:56. Ang masakit p nga dito is kakarelease lng ng kanta (new one), eh nabigyan n kaagad ng cover. Tpos, mas sumikat p ang cover than the orig one.
DeleteWhat’s with English?— being able to speak English does not mean you are better country.
ReplyDeleteHaha off nga ang comment. Haha shes inviting haters with that comment. Though I question people who go crazy over songs that they can’t understand.
DeleteMaybe they appreciate the music..
DeleteC'mon guys, ibang level n ang obsession ng mga kpop fans/tard, you can't disagree with them they will hate you if give your opinion on kpop/korean shows, DDD levels na. I get it kanya kanya hilig pero ang lala na madalas, hindi na objective. Hindi ko ipapatalo ang beauty ng mga filipino and of course ang singing voice ng mga pinoy.
DeleteI have to say this, there are a lot of filipino, european, SE and SE asian movies pero makikita mo ang trending korean.
DeleteTo each his own. Kanya - kanyang preferences.
Wag siyang umarte. Hindi porket mestiza ay sisikat siya.
DeleteShe’s full of negativity. She can appreciate naman her choice of music without hating kpop.
DeleteExcuse me, may karapatan naman mga tao mamili ako gusto nila pakinggan at panuurin. Ang kopp hindi lang naman hit sa Philippines, it's all over the world.
ReplyDeleteNope.
Dyusmiyo marimar!
DeleteAgree that K pop or K wave is not isolated in the Philippines.
DeleteAnd to those people who think that K drama/wave is corny, remember that the best picture from the Oscars this year is a Korean movie.
Tumpak 5:49, ang lala.
DeleteYuck
ReplyDeleteK pop is also influenced by the western world.
Delete2:24 matagal bago nalaos yung f4
DeleteAng di nag click is yung other taiwanese dramas, kdrama talaga ang marami naipalabas
2:53 Naging fan ako ng F4 at Meteor Garden nung sumikat sila ng year 2003.
DeleteUHMMMM, CAN YOU REALLY BLAME THE FLIPINOS THOUGH? hOW CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN IDENTITIES WHEN WE WERE OCCUPIED BY SPAIN FOR MORE THAN 300 YRS, THEN, AMERICANS, THEN A FEW YRS BY THE JAPANESE.
DeleteBoth are influenced by one way or another lol its just mas invested ng bongga ang korean govt in supporting their arts na lumaki sila ng ganito. Mapakpop or kdrama or kmovies. And now super nagbebenefit sila. 12:41
Kakalurks.
Delete12:29 precisely malaki inlfuence ng mga nanakop satin and it’s part of culture of pinas.
DeleteGurl, pinapahiya mo lng sarili mo. Manahimik k nlng kasi nagmumukha k lng hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteMay point ka lol
DeleteEnglish is an international language tho. It is also our 2nd language.
Deletetignan mo naman last name ni girl. Kung siya nga halfie. So I think may karapatan din naman ang mga viewers kung gustuhin ang foreign serye or music etc.
DeleteEnglish is an international language.
Wag kami girl.
DeleteSaw some of her posts sa FB. Medyo nega vibes nga si girl. Even her fb friends say she’s toxic.
DeleteHindi din ako fan ng kpop.
ReplyDeletePero I fully understand na people admire them not only because of their music, but also because of tbeir dedication and discipline.
Thank you. Very well said. Respect lang.
Deletedoes she not notice how lately most of the new Filipino music is in English? Even Filipino artists are continuously reviving/covering English songs from foreign artists. but does she have any problem with that? I guess not.
ReplyDeleteHypocrite. Last name is Schweighart, doesnt sound Filipino to me.
ReplyDeleteMay nagcomment nga sa twitter bakit ba daw nagpasakop ang nanay nya at ganyan apelyedo nila. Lol
DeleteLol
DeleteAhahaha. Truths
DeleteTRUE. Punahin niya muna sarili niya. Do not give us this makabayan bull. Wag kami girl. Kumita na yan.
Deletegirl, just because we like KPOP doesnt mean im losing my Filipino Card. Like me, i like KPOP and OPM. P
ReplyDeletePlease do not equate liking foreign music to losing our patriotism or not being Filipino.
We can co-exist.
This! I learned to appreciate Kpop nitong covid lang and i now understand kpop fans.
DeleteI have friends and relatives who like Kpop pero hindi naman nawawala ang identity nila.
ReplyDeleteTama. Music knows no boundaries. Di pa nga maintindihan ngayon kasi masyadong slang at loaded with innuendo.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the English bit, finally someone bothered to speak up!
ReplyDeleteSuper agree! 99 percent about what she said is right except the english thing and the kpopers are just focusing on that one thing to make her sound wrong.
DeleteTrue. Sobrang obsessed. ๐
ReplyDeleteAnd Beatles in the 60s! My parents still have their albums and even bought digitally enhanced CDs of it.
DeleteI don’t like imelda but her tweets here are on point.
Look it up. Pati yung questionable na album cover. She's just salty walang pumansin na may album pala siya. And what better way to gain attention than to attack Kpop fans.
DeleteSo what music do you listen to?
DeleteEnglish ba ang batayan on which who you should admire? I agree na Pinoys should stop imitating what is hot right now. They should come up with something uniquely their own. You saying you hate K-pop shows envy and insecurity.
ReplyDeleteKpop is also heavily influenced by hip-hop and american pop. They are very good in packaging their idols. I dont like kpop music also because the idols usually lip sync and the content of the songs are shallow. Parang mga robots. Its form over substance. People in the OPM industry should improve the quality of the music though to catch up with the world.
ReplyDeleteSays the girl who follows Western artists on instagram
ReplyDeletebecause she herself is from another country. Hypocrite.
For sure eh some time din sa buhay mo, you have followed some group. Ako Nsync lol.
ReplyDeleteBackstreetboys here. I still follow them and even watched their concert recently. Marami ring najojologan pero kiber. Haha.
Bts ako bakit haha so what. Kanya kanya lang yan diba. Bakit need maging toxic.
Delete1:28 apir tyo sista. Bsb fan here too.
DeleteCyempre dun ako sa nagpapasaya sakin. Napapasaya ako ng BTS. Ikaw ndi.
Levels hah.
ReplyDeleteSaka yun Engish argument?? Ano yun sense duh
DeleteI like this girl. I also don't understand this kpop craze or korean drama craze.
ReplyDeleteSo you like her dahil lang ayaw mo sa Kpop? Eh mukhang ang sama ng ugali? Lol.
DeleteAnong masama sa Kdrama/Kpop craze? Pero okay lang yung Hollywood? As if naman Pinoy shows lang pinapanood mo.
1:01 you and this gurl both know how to respect other. Kung ayaw nyo, wla dpat pilitan and wlang pangmamaliit s gusto ng iba.
DeleteMukhang kulang sa aruga si 1:01AM, I am not a k-pop fan dahil mas trip ko mga lumang kanta at indie artists. Pero sabihin mo I like this girl because she "hates" k-pop there is something wrong with you. Hate is a big word.
Deletegrabe naman yung I HATE KPOP hindi ba pwedeng yung mga pinoy jejemons kpop fanatic lang? seriously, ang bakya ng mga pinoy na halos makipagpatayan sa idol nilang maliit lang din ang tingin sa pinoy. like girl totoo naman, have some pride baka hindi niyo alam nilalait na pala kulay niyo behind the camera.
ReplyDeleteHate Kpop? As in Hate? I don’t like country music pero hindi ko naman sasabihin na i “hate” country music. I just won’t listen to it.
ReplyDeleteAs if!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to hate kpop. Nahusguhan ko agad ang kpop in genderal just because of the few very popular "idol songs" that I heard. Kung interesado kayo, search for Ailee, Hyolyn, Eunkwang, Mamamoo, Solar, Sam Kim, Eric Nam... For bands search nyo The Rose, Hyukoh, Seso Neon (although iba dito baka hindi na pasok sa kpop). Flex ko rin ang krnb nila. Magaling din rnb ng Korea. Personal fave is "Primary" who's a producer. Manood kayo ng shows like Fantastic Duo o kaya Immortal Songs Para marinig nyo ang mga Korean singers na kumanta ng mga classic songs nila. And BTW, I love OPM too. From Nonoy Zuniga to Ben&Ben to Wolfgang to Jay-R, etc...
ReplyDeleteActually, i have a lot of korean songs in my spotify. Being a music junkie myself, i listen to korean songs not just mga songs ng sikat like bts (na sobrsng toxic ng fans) or whatever kpop group. So yeah, i love korean music.
DeleteTrue 1:13. You could also listen
Deleteto wildflower by park hyo shin. Sobrang ganda
I really don't get fans going crazy over artists who can't speak english.
ReplyDeleteBecause a song is not only made up of lyrics.. a movie is not only made up of lines.. there are a lot of elements in a song or movie that people appreciate..
DeleteHow uncultured. Di lang english language sa mundo
DeleteEnglish lang naman alam ng pinoy. Ibang countries nga 3-4 languages inaaral nila. Yabang mo
DeleteMay english translations po and some groups like BTS write their own songs na mostly ay about self-love and something relevabt at di sex o violence
DeleteHow narrow minded. Tsk tsk.
DeleteYou have a lot to learn. There are french songs that are great to listen to, spanish and Italian too. There are movies in foreign languages that you need to watch.
DeleteI myself don't get the kpop hype pero kdrama I get, my subtittles naman at maganda pagkakagawa. I guess it's a phase, may 5 yr time frame like any other artists.
,Ano to double standard kakaloka!
ReplyDeleteTrue i attended a fanmeeting before at diko naman inexpect na merong handshake na mangyayari. Saw jung hae in upclose and ang dami tlg mas gwapong pinoy artista. Napaisip nga ako that time..sabi ko walang wala ito pag natabi kay piolo pascual! But ewan anong magic meron ang korean celebrities.
Same goes with TV and movies here.
ReplyDeleteIf you listen to your local radio station, 95% ng mga kanta are from American artists. Tapos Losing our Filipino identity pag K-pop ang gusto? Ano kayo yun. May prejudice Lang?
ReplyDelete1:31 not sure about that since from what i understand, kpop mostly mean korean music.
DeleteNo. Hindi lahat ng korean music is Kpop. In Korea, Idol music ang tawag sa kanila. Twice/Blackpink/ etc.
DeleteThe word ''kpop'' comes from the west, hindi sa Korea.
I started with kdramas and love the soundtracks too. Then eventually got introduced sa kpop music out of curiosity na din kay Sandara (2NE1). Then ayan na ang Big Bang and other kpop groups. But now I love BTS. ๐
DeleteAysoz kanya kanyang trip yan! Ano gusto mo pakinggan namin Pamela wan? Totoybibo? Halukay ube? Mind your own teh!
ReplyDeleteDagdag mo pa yung bakit papa! Oh diba taray! Haha!
Delete1:33 Isama n rin ang Jumbo Hotdog hahahaha.
DeleteSo kpop lang ang ayaw nya? And she also hates people trying to look korean? Pro ok sa kanya yung ibang foreign songs and people trying to look like caucasians?
ReplyDeleteHad to google kng sino sya.hehe Anyways, ok lang naman kng hate nya kpop.
ReplyDeleteThat's not the right way to promote your music girl...,
ReplyDeleteIf she sings all pinoy songs that is backed up by instruments invented by pinoys baka maniwala ako sa babaeng ito.
DeleteAs If this girl support and listen to OPM music na Tagalog and watches teleserye . If yun nag papasaya sa kanila Let them be.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, Taylor Swift, can you react to this KPop hater.
DeleteSounds xenophobic to me. You can lose your own Filipino identity even without listening to Korean pop. Our being Filipino and its degree aren’t dependent or measured by our interests.
ReplyDeleteAs for the English comment, she must have forgotten that it’s a language brought by colonizers. So there’s that too.
Hating on something won’t make people listen to her music. She could have spoken about Filipino original music and her own music without bringing something down.
No wonder she had to give up the crown she won years ago. She was running her mouth... just like what she is doing now. Stay salty.
@2:19 pak! Well said
DeleteAh sya ba yun? She hasn't learned her lesson.
DeleteTRUE, OVERRATED EH MAGKAKAMUKHA LANG NAMAN. HAHA
Be careful.
DeleteIf we are to believe her, then we should all stop watching movies and TV shows or admiring bands that aren't Filipinos.
Deleteit's okay not to get the hype about kpop. some people don't get the hype about your idol too, and thats okay. but to hate them just because you don't get them?? something is wrong with you gurl
ReplyDeleteI’m never a kdrama follower but out of curiosity i watched one after another..the plot is universal but the production is good as well as the cinematography but most of the faces of the actors are scientifically enhanced, the guys look effimenate and the girls doll like, you can’t figure their real looks anymore but they’re good actors though..compared to phil. cinema they’re way better. The kpop groups they’re mediocre singers but their choreography are well rehearsed but the younger generation goes gaga over them, i dunno why..my opinion.
#satruelang
ReplyDeleteAgree ako sa kanya.actually wala akong kilalang kpop artist if i see any of them in photos sorry.isa lang gusto ko sa korea si jang hyuk lang coz i accidentally watched a snippet of fated to love you on facebook lol.pero sa mga singers wala akong kilala ni wala ako maalalang names parang parepareho lol.
Wag nalang tayong bitter. Hindi sila marunong mag english pero mas sikat sila in other parts of the world than our singers. Ibig sabihin nun may tama silang ginagawa.
ReplyDeleteAaaahhh... anong grammy awards for kpop groups ka dyan??? HINDI PA NANANALO NG GRAMMYS ANG KAHIT ANONG KPOP GROUPS. Wag mag-imbento please.
DeleteI have no problems with Filipino fans liking foreign artists. I have a problem with filipino artists & celebrities copying Koreans professionally like SB19. I find them super gross and cringey.
ReplyDeleteOk n sana pero pero parang 5 yr old mag rason about mas magaling pa tayo mag english. Wtf. Lol. Racist themed na tuloy.
ReplyDeleteInggiterang palaka! You hate them because they work so hard and they are successful. They make a lot of money. Ikaw sino ka nga uli?
ReplyDeleteBack off and mind your own business
ReplyDeleteALL THESE KPOP FANS WHO ARE BUTTHURT ABOUT HER "HATING" KPOP BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM IT'S TOO MEAN ARE HYPOCRITES.
ReplyDeleteDON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T SPEW HATE IN SOCIAL MEDIAS OVER THE PETTIEST THINGS.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of demonic symbolisms in some kpop music videos and in some of their live performances in korea too. I won't mention names of these groups and solo acts but there's a lot of them... Really dark, shady industry not to mention their slave system... No wonder why a lot of kpop fans are really, really toxic people.
ReplyDeleteSay what you want to say kpop tards, but we Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC fans never declared that we wanted to be americans and that we were so unlucky to be born in the wrong country and we never wanted to sell our kidneys just to purchase merchs and concert tickets! Sino ang bad influence ngayon?
ReplyDeleteAko din nagtaka before bakit ang daming gusto ng kpop so I tried watching. Realized how they are professionally trained even sa music composition and playing instruments. So I think andun ang respeto ng Pinoy pagdating sa dedication to their craft and teamwork. You will appreciate it when you give it a chance.
ReplyDeletePrangkahan na tayo, IF THE PEOPLE WHO SANG DNA, FIRE, LOVESHOT AND LET'S KILL THIS LOVE WERE UGLY AND DEFINITELY NOT THEIR TYPE, KPOP FANS WON'T EVEN BOTHER SUPPORTING AND SEARCHING FOR ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF THOSE SONGS.
ReplyDeleteRespect is not judging somebody's else's choice and preference be it kpop or otherwise. I think you are the one with misplaced, or yet, no respect
ReplyDeleteTotoo naman e.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to get fans - galeng naman neto! Haters will hate and curious fans will look her up and check all her social media accts to bash her! Talino!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I was surprised how Filipinos in the Philippines are so fascinated with Koreans. When you come here in the US, nobody even cares.
ReplyDeleteImelda who again? Lols
ReplyDeleteI could lose my being pinoy more if I had her surname. Sino ba itech? Is she relevant?
I'm not a fan of kpop but you I hate. Racist to the highest level! Cancel her please!
ReplyDeleteSana one day Ppop and Pinoy artists naman ang magdodominate sa international scene. Nakakasawa na kasi puro kpop. Dapat may ibang variety naman.
ReplyDeletePaano? Eh wala namang magaling gumawa ng original songs?
Delete11:56 well, i wish mo muna n sana n magstop n mga pinoy s mga pagrevive or puro pagcover ng mga songs. Kasi ultimong kakalabas lng ng kanta, nacover n agad and mas sumikat p kesa s original.
DeleteWalang magaling, 1:02? Edi wala ka talagang pinapakinggan kahit ano, 'no?
DeleteDon’t worry. Kpop and kpop fans hate you too as in BIG TIME! ✌️
ReplyDeleteYour kpop idols don't even love you anyway. LOL!
DeleteFilipinos are so pathetic. Imagine supporting and even defending a group of people who're likely stepping in you due to the color of your skin.
This๐ I couldnt agree more sa lahat ng sinabi mo๐
DeleteI’d rather watch a kpop concert na original na kanila ang music rather than a Pinoy artist na kakantahin puro foreign songs. Kopyang kopya pa dance steps, outfit, and makeup. Pinoy music needs to step up. Sama mo na dramas and films. Not hating just stating facts!
ReplyDeleteA lot of kpop songs sound the same.
What an entitled whiner! Talk about sour graping. I am not a KPop fan but I respect all music choices. Gusto nitong babaeng ito siya yung sambahin. Napaghahalata g ingitera.
ReplyDeleteShe has a point. I dunno why Filipinos went gaga over kpop pati itsura nila ginagaya eh hindi naman lahat bumabagay.
ReplyDeleteI get it na dapat walang basagang trip. And it’s your choice kung anong klaseng music gusto nyo.
But sobrang fanatic na, pati tv puro kdrama nlng.
ReplyDeleteStop it, you're making too much sense! /s Pero seriously, we're in the minority here. It's sad but here we are. I'm praying that more Filipinos wake up. Koreans don't care about you, they just want that soft power and they're racists.
ReplyDeleteAng tanong e may identity ba tayo?
ReplyDeleteTeleserye natin e ginaya sa Spanish.
Tayong mga Pinoy feeling American.
Nasan ang identity
May identity naman talaga ang pinoy..
DeleteIt’s called soft power
ReplyDeleteTHE BEST CLASSIC OPM HITS ARE FAR SUPERIOR THAN KPOP HITS TODAY. PERIOD. IBA ANG DATING NG GREATEST OPM HITS, MAY DISTINCT SOUL AND HEART NA HINDI MO MAKIKITA SA ANUMANG KPOP SONGS NA YAN.
Pssst... may sasabihin ako sa inyo.
ReplyDeleteOPM/Ppop will be the next big thing worldwide and no, hindi yung mga sinasabi nyo mga revival ng revival at Jumbo hotdog, spaghetting pababa ang mag-aangat nyan kaya tumahimik na lang kayo okay?
ReplyDelete
