  1. I don't know the protocol regarding these kinds of events. But if there are any, I guess the police's hands were tied and they just want to follow the law to the letter. It kind of sucks tho.

    1. They have to follow protocol.

    2. Style yan ng mga mahilig mag-rally, whether left or right, kailangan may ingay. Dapat mapansin ng press para nay impact. Nacino knows their system very well. It's a pity that her baby had to be involved.

    4. Mabigat daw kasi ang kaso ni ateng activist, illegal possession of firearms, allegedly.

      Delete
#HandsOffOurChildren.

    6. Yung iba dito kung maka "follow the leter of the law" as if that what really happens all the time sa Pilipinas. Pag mayaman mahahanapan ng extenuating circumstance to bend the law, pag mahirap sunod na sunod ang batas. Please wag na tayo magbulagbulagan

  2. There are consequences to every action. She is a prisoner and those are the present laws and regulation of the land. Perhaps the legislators should now deem fit to do their job to amend inutile laws. Because the law may be harsh but it is still the law. Lest it will be taken lightly and there will be anarchy for human kind. #mytwocents

    4. Gusto ko yang law is law.

    5. Reina Mae is an activist, not a killer. Andaming nakabantay sa kanya. Can't they even remove her handcuffs for a few hours?

      Delete
    6. Kaya nga humihingi ng konting compassion, mahirap ba yon? As if naman tatakas siya eh heavily guarded nga naman.

      Delete
    7. I understand. But isn't it so frustrating how politicians who were proven to have embezzled money and done malpractices can easily get away just because of HUMANITARIAN REASONS also? But here, a grieving mother and will never be able to see her child anymore, di mapagbigyan? So much for no one is above the law.

      Delete
    8. She is a detainee and not a convicted prisoner.

      Delete
    9. Haaay, @12:29 stop justifying the actions of this government. Batas ka diyan. She's an activist not a terrorist. Iyang nangungurakot sa gobyerno, okay lang.

      Delete
Wow grabeng batas.

      Delete

Law is law pa din? Unang una may search warrant ba sila?! Kaya nga eh LAW IS LAW. pero wag twisted to serve their agenda to commit human rights and constitutional rights violation

    13. activist lang kailangan 45 na sundalo yung nakapalibot? saan ka nakakita ng burol na pinaharurot yung sasakyan at naiwan yung mga relative sa likod? yung mga corrupt sa philhealth nga walang nakulong. law is law is just applicable sa mga mahihirap at hindi tama yun.

      Delete
    14. We all know that there's a government crackdown against left-wing activist. The cops said they found explosives in Reina's home, but I highly doubt that story. Another questionable thing that our govt did is, they took away her baby from her instead of relocating her to a facility where she can look after her baby. A few month old baby taken away from her mum? But a lot of us Filipinos are still defending the Duterte govt? We're going to be like America for sure. We're doomed to fail. We will destroy our own country. Cos we're more loyal to our politicians than our own country.

    15. Sabihin mo rin yan kay Bong Revilla n kung saan nakabisita s tatay niya n nsa hospital and s kanyang pamilya despite n may kaso siyang corruption, 12:29. Take note too n hndi ganyun ang security niya and matagal sya nsa labas.

      Delete
    16. Anon 12:29 huh? She is not yet convicted. She has the right to visit and mourn her child. Dapat nga the whole time na nakaburol.

      Delete
    17. Lets not forget Mañanita, and the Milyones/bilyones na nakurakot ng Phlhealth compared sa kasalanan nya bilang aktibista.

      Delete
    18. Convicted si Imelda Marcos? For what? Since when? Akala ko ba dismissed mga kaso against sa kanya or na settle na.

      Delete
  3. What if hindi siya nakaposas, may masasabi din naman ang tao di ba? Na kesyo maluwag dahil lang nakatelevise. It's the law and those people are doing their job whether the rest of us will hate thm.

    1. Did they do the same for Koko, Siñas, Imelda, Enrile and Bong? They were very lax with these prominent people. Didn't you understand the part when Anne said "compassion"?

      Delete
    2. 12:45 AM Hindi, walang masasabi. On the contrary, they’ll be praised for being compassionate. Pwede naman magdagdag ng guards to make sure she does not escape.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Well, I think first of all, if my mom knows she has a baby to take care of, she wouldn't be an activist. She would surely spend her time with me and not on being an activist thinking that I am still a baby who needs her love, care and attention..My mom would know that I need her to be by my side, the more reason because I am still a baby..

      Delete
    5. Hala si 1:08 may hugot. Kalma lang te. Walang damayan ng mama ng may mama. Hehe

      Delete
    6. @1:39 assuming tama yang argument mo (which is hindi talaga dahil hindi porket buntis ka dapat ilet go mo na prinsipyo mo), hindi niya pa alam na buntis siya nung nahuli siya. Basa basa rin. Wag kuda ng kuda

      Delete
    7. Totally agree with you 1:39!

      Delete
    8. 1:39 You are self righteous. You can be an activist and still have a FAMILY. In fact they love their family so much that’s why they’re fighting for a better country for their CHILDREN.

      Delete
    9. 1:39 and 7:10 - Well, I think, first of all, know the facts first before you comment (1:39) and agree to it (7:10). Reina found out she was pregnant while she was detained, and gave birth in jail too, after which, her baby was taken away from her for obvious reasons. She could not be by her baby’s side to nurse and take care of her after giving birth and especially when the baby got sick even if she wanted to because she’s still detained up to now.

      Delete
    10. Dapat alam din nya that there is a possibility that she might get pregnant is is sexually active while being an activist at the same time. How sure are you that she doesn't know is pregnant?

      Delete
  4. Seryoso Anne? Sa huling nilang pagkakataon, buti kamo may pribliheyo pa syang makita ang baby nya sa huling pagkakataon, she isn't completely innocent, why have sympathy to someone na pinasok ang ganyang bagay when she has a child? I hope people reads facts about her rather we use more of our emotions, truth is out there

    ReplyDelete

    1. kanya kanya tayo ng kwento. ikaw nga walang puso eh, seryoso ako baks

      Delete
    2. I am sorry for her loss but she could have spent more time with her baby instead of being an activist..

      Delete
    3. How could that have been possible 204? The baby was taken away from her.
And if you're going to insist on that as you did in another thread here, maybe you ought to know the context of her story.

      Delete
Haller?

      Delete
    5. 1:33 hahaha too much drama ang pinapanood mo para sabihan si 12:47 na walang puso. She should’ve spent more time taking care of herself and the baby.

      Delete
    6. @ 12:47 and 2:04, seriously? You need to FACT check muna bago mag comment ng ganyan. She found out she was 1-pregnant sa loob na ng jail. Di ka pa ba bago sa batas and justices dito? Being an activist won't make you a criminal. I see, prejuice.

      Delete
    7. Pwedeng guilty sya, pwedeng hindi. Siguro ung given time ibinigay, kc pinirmahan naman yun..bigla na lang inalis ung tao

      Delete
    8. 12:47 so ok lang sau in the first place na namatay ang baby dahil sa pgkawalay ng ina?

      Delete
    9. Patawa ka 2.04. Buntis sya nung kinulong. Masama bang punahin ang gobyerno? Karaparan natin yan.

      Delete
    10. @2:04 - I’m sorry for you bec you don’t know the story and yet here you are giving unsolicited advice. She could not have spent more time with her baby even if she wanted to because she’s been in jail from the early stages of her pregnancy up to now. Know the facts first before you give your two cents worth.

  5. She was allowed to visit the wake but to give interview almost the entire time?? Kung talagang nagluluksa siya inubos nya oras nya sa pagluluksa and not to use the freedom to invite the press and grant a lengthy interview.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You mean she was being interviewed for 3 hours nonstop 1252? An interview or a soundbite doesnt take more than 10 minutes.

      Delete
    2. However way she grieves, that is up to her. It is valid. wala kang karapatan to question that. You don't know her pain. At sa malamang, dahil sa maraming
media ang present, it would be too impossible na hindi siya ma interview.

      Delete
If she really is grieving gibamit nya yung pagwawala nya to shoo away the media at hindi yung mga sundalo na nag aabang lang.

Fyi, illegal possession of high caliber firearms and explosives ang charges sa kanya. Non-bailable po yan. Mabigat ang parusa dyan pag napatunayan.

      Delete
    5. Marcos, Revilla , Estrada etc are not security threats. Di sila gagawa ng kaguluhan nong pinalabas sila sandali becasue of their political reputation...but the case of this girl is different...posession of Heavy firearms and explosives ang case nya.

      Delete
  6. The problem with these celebrities is that they’re not reading a lot. They only see grandstanding and they ride on the hype

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It seems that the poster 12:53 is the one who hasn't been reading a lot.

      Delete
    2. Anne did not question any legalities of the matter. She only expressed her frustration. As a mother, she felt the pain.
Reina won't be able to see her child anymore in this lifetime. Sana...

      Delete
    3. 12:53 ikaw ata ang di nagbasa, basahin mo ung buong news article. After reading it, put yourself on the grieving mother's shoe (ofcourse considering the law pa din). Kung feeling mo pa din tama lang yung handling ng PNP, then I rest my case.

      Delete
    4. Di pa va makatao yung pinayagang sya makita anak nya at mahatid sa huling hantungan? Samantalang yung iba nakakulong di nagawa yun.

      Delete
    5. Yung iba nga nawalan ng anak dahil dinala sa kabundukan pagkatapos paghirapan at palakihin. Kawawa yung mga magulang.

      Delete
  7. Pag May Sinabi yung tao: showbiz personalities, politicians and the likes 100% exemption will be given. Handcuffs off and all that.
So u see Hindi lahat same2x sa law or sa nagpapatupad ng Batas.
Face the consequences of your action...true! But a little considerations or compassion goes a long way.

    1. I think allowing her to be there is already a form of compassion.. She knew what she got herself into. Pinili nya maging activist instead of spend time with her baby..

      Delete
    2. 1:41, ikaw din ba si 2:04 at si 1:39? She found out she was pregnant after being arrested. Baby was taken away from her. Makitid lang teh?

      Delete
    3. Grabe ka 1:41! She didn't know she was pregnant when she was arrested last year in Manila, sa tingen mo pipilien nyang maging activist kung alam nyang may dinadala sya. Shame on you.

    1. She is fighting for a cause, not a criminal.

    2. tlga ba? let's talk about those high class inmates.. oh please!

      Delete
    3. she is a detained activist not a convicted serial killer. people here trying to preach the absolute rule of all. how ironic as it only applies to the unfortunate and powerless.

      Delete
    4. Then, is the cause she fought for really worth it? What about the lost time she could have spent with her baby..

      Delete
    5. Exactly. Law is law and she is not convicted. And everyone is presumed innocent until proven girl so she has the right to visit and grieve for her child.

      Delete
    6. Ano ba mas importante yung pinaglalaban nya or yung baby nya? She was allowed to visit the wake pero bawal na oa interview and she should go back at a certain time. Both nilabag.

      Delete
    7. Activist? Once you have arms, it’s no longer activism, that’s terrorism! If she loved her child so much, was what she is fighting for worth it?

      Delete
  9. She was given 3 days by the court but the heartless PNP shortened it to 3 hours.

    1. True, if they really cared for the loss of a baby, they would have the respect not to make it a venue for their rally.

    3. True. Parang tinake advantage din nila ung situation. Kawawa ung baby at the end of the day. Anu ba kase priority nila dba.

      Delete

  13. The woman was arrested carrying firearms and explosives. Yes, this is the law, this may seem harsh but it is the law.

  15. Well she is a new mom and this is exactly what the photo wanted to get. Never mind the facts. Always all about emotions.

  16. Was it too much for the grieving mother to prioritize her child so she wouldn’t have to grieve? If you all remember in social studies, human rights was discussed and it was said that your right as a person will be taken if you will have a criminal case, a criminal case you versus the government like that woman’s case is.
