DeleteThe MUP Organization should have seen the winners of other countries. I am so sure na hibdi papasok si Rabiya sa top 20, nothing spectacular about her, very pageant patty, even magsalita. I think nagkamali sila for not choosing Bella Ysmael. The strength of Bella Ysmael are her extremely beautiful face na kakalibre ni Olivia Culpo (2012) and Demi Ligh Nel-Peters (2017) na khit maliit, yung beauty ng face ang nagdala AND her poise, class, exquisite charisma and ang super alta ng dating, no one could top that. Test of her super alta appeal: sa Miss Thailand, sa swimsuit, may nagoa ikot ukot dun pero ang cheap. Pero bakit nung si Bella amg umikot ikot, ang soshal. I don't know, mahihina yung nasa panel of judges, walang eye for alta and exquisite level ng beauty.

ReplyDeleteHubby and I thought that Alaiza should have gotten the crown. She is queenly. Her stance reminded us of Ms Margie Moran. Next bet namin is Ms Cavite. Iba rin ang dating. Daring and courageous of her to admit her sexuality. She would have made a difference in the Ms Universe. The world is ready for a beauty queen like her. Maybe May nakitang potential si Gaffud kay Rabiya. Her beauty though is not as stunning as Catriona and Pia. Among a line up of the world’s Ms Universe candidates she might not stand out until she speaks. Articulate sya. She needs to polish her speaking voice though and the angles of posing for the camera. Pwede pa mahasa under a rigorous training from Gaffud.

My personal opinion, there are other girls more deserving than Rabiya. At first, I find her really pretty, but when I saw her IG, seems like there's really a reason why the other candidates were questioning the HMUA issue. Sobrang layo ng hitsura nya nung Finals night and from her recent pics sa IG. 2nd, she answered just ok sa q&a. She was confident at that time but when we watched the prelims q&as and her interviews, I think there are other candidates who are more articulate than her. Parang if di mapractice yung questions, mahihirapan na sya sumagot.

Si Rabiya naman andun yung hunger at conviction sa kilos at salita nya, siguro dahil na din sa mga pinagdaanan nya sa buhay. She is raw and smart but she needs to practice how to exude elegance and grace. Michelle Gumabao didnt look her real self on stage. Parang more on projection ginagawa nya. Yung sagot nya about the bible didnt come across as sincere, parang lumabas lang sa ilong nya.

DeleteWell this is paranaque's first pageant. And it was a good move na she became the first runner up. She put up a really good fight. She'll come back stronger and seasoned. I cant wait for it. Nakakasawa na na may halong arab or caucasian ang pinapadala natin.

Her aunt Margie Moran's grandmother is a McIlvain - Spanish mixed with American and an ancestry of West African blood.
On Bella's Ysmael side - The Ysmaels came from a line of Lebanese immigrants who had settled in the Philippines. The family matriarch was Doña Magdalena Hashim Ysmael-Hemady who made her fortune buying up land. Doña Hemady Street in Quezon City was named in her honor.

9:55, doon mo makikita if a candidate speaks from the heart. A person with conviction does not care for a politically-correct answer. He/she will say what he/she believes is true.
DeleteI really thought Iloilo lost her chance to win when she said Miriam was the best president we never had, especially since the presidential spokesperson was in the panel of judges. But I guess the judges saw the sincerity in her answer.
Ysabella's gown is gorgeous! Pang international red carpet. I'm not a fan of Rabiya's overall look, is it just me or does she look like a mini-Shamcey Supsup? I didn't watch the pageant but Alaiza also looks amazing in her white Filipiniana inspired gown.
