swabbing immediately after an exposure is not advisable. u have to wait for at least 7-8 days or if u develop symptoms, whichever comes first, to get a swab. the swab may come negative if the swab was done on day 1 exposure. some develop symptoms a few days after, when the swab test result is released a few days after. the best thing to do is quarantine, then have a swab after 7-8 days after the exposure, remain in quarantine until the swab test is released.
First thing to do if you know you had exposure is to isolate yourself. Act that you're positive until you proven that you're negative. If you develop some symptoms like difficult breathing call your doctor immediately. Even if you have the negative result you still have to complete your quarantine. Keep safe & healthy everyone.
