You have talked about this Rape for years, short of mentioning the name of your rapist. That is brave for you to do so. However, sporadically bringing it out in the open in the same manner does not really get you the justice you deserve and I think you should march to the finish line in your battle. Magiging HE SAID/SHE SAID lang yan tapos andaming blind fantards ng lalaking yun isama mo pa mga blind fantards ng mga kaibigan nyang sikat na milyones ang followers sa ig kasi syempre magbibigay ng support in public yung mga sikat na friends nya at mga fantards nya, gaya-gaya naman sa idols nila. Hindi madali yan para kay Kat.

ReplyDeleteYou have talked about this Rape for years, short of mentioning the name of your rapist. That is brave for you to do so. However, sporadically bringing it out in the open in the same manner does not really get you the justice you deserve and I think you should march to the finish line in your battle. This also gets feasted on social media, giving bashers and heartless netizens opportunities to doubt the veracity of your claim because again, the rapist is nameless and years later, you are still haunted by it. File your case. You should still be within the statute of limitation.

ReplyDeleteIf you want justice, mag file ka ng kaso. If you to encourage people to speak at lumaban,lumaban ka sa korte. Kasi kung nagsasalita ka lanh sa twitter, parang sinasabi mo na din na di mo kayang lumaban at sumuko ka nlang sa tagal ng panahon. Dont get me wrong, Im with her, pero sana daanin sa totoong proseso, magsampa siya ng kaso para mas tumapang pa yung ibang biktima na lumabas.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, some people here tino tolerate na sa social media na lang ikuwento ang mga nangyari sa kanya. Instead of bring it to court and encourage other victims to do the same. Tapos, kung may mga other opinions dito sa social media, nakikipagtalo pa. SMH
Deletekaya maraming rape and sexual assault victims ang di nagsasalita dahil sa mga ganitong cases. Sikat o malaking pangalan ang abuser (lalo't yung iba sa atin dyinodyos ang mga idol), tapos forever ka nang tinitignan at pag uusapan ng mga tao. Naka tag na sayo yung "ni rape ni ano o na rape". Culture pa man din ng mga Pinoy yung Victim blaming.

Motivational speaker na sya now. Malaki ang naging damage sakanya maliban sa trauma. She lost her career dahil ginusto nya ipaglaban. Pati celebrity friends nawala din. Pang babash lang ang nakuha niya sa mga tao nung tinry nya pangalanan. Atleast ngayon nakakapag talk siya to help other people with the same experience. Hindi naman kasi ganun kadali ang justice dito lalo kung mas maraming pera yung kalaban mo.

DeleteJust all talk, al blah blah is not going to change anything. The fact is that she didn’t do anything to get evidence for her case, didn’t go to the police, didn’t go to a doctor, didn’t get a lawyer. She has nothing because she didn’t go through the proper process.
