    1. The issue in this age of time is the numbers due to shift in the people's mindset. Sexual revolution, drugs and alcohol. Tama si Tulfo, ang tawag don, gassing the fire.

    1. I have to respectfully disagree. I think there would have been more rape cases in the past, as women didn't have a voice and couldn't report it. For instance, even saying the mere word 'rape' was a major taboo. Not to mention, the only 'purpose' of women in the past (especially noong panahon ni "Maria Clara") was to cook, clean, and simply serve the family.

Thankfully, today, women now have a voice. Hence, why so many victims of sexual abuse are speaking up. At the end of the day, millions of women are being abused in the world. We shouldn't be blaming them — no matter what they're wearing.

Instead, we should be teaching men to be more respectful of how they view women. Not as objects for their sexual pleasure, but as human beings who have value regardless of their outfits.

    2. 1232 no, walang point yan, why blame the girls? so damitan ko nang sexy ung poste, mamanyakin na nang mga rapist? We should be able to wear clothes na gusto natin!

Everyone can wear clothes they want at ang maniac ay maniac no other reason so please stop victim blaming.

Kapag sinabi ng babae na NO e di walang consent. No means No! wearing clothes is also a part of expressing yourself at kng san k kumportable sympre bkit mo iibahin un because of others? na kasalanan mo pa pag may nangyari sayo? grabe ka ate o kuya nakakahiya ka

    8. 1:08 Ano bang mahirap intindihin? The point is, maling mang rape, pero di mo sila macocontrol. Instead, protect yourself. Don’t put yourself in a compromising position and don’t wear scantily. Gets?

    10. Dear 1212. Pwede ding stop flaunting your body parts. What's the point? Gusto nyo lang, tawag pansin, you feel beautiful for the world to see pero don't be manyakis kahit revealing ang suot ko kasi bad yan. We are not excusing rapist jusko. You are how you dress. Gets mo

    11. You are missing his point. Rapists, sex maniac or addict whatever you call those; has a mindset we won't be able to comprehend if we're not one of them. So instead of giving them a window of opportunity, why not take extra precaution and not show too much of your privates. They are called private parts for a reason. And don't be too smarty on me, thats you will wear skirts on a pool/beach, that is a different story. Reminding women to be careful is not victim blaming, it's actually a way of avoiding being a "victim".

Na rape ba sila because they were were wearing little clothes on? The answer is no. So why are women being asked na wag manamit ng maigsi o mababang neckline? To think na compare to these men, mas madami pa ang telang gamit ng mga babae. I wholehearted agree with dressing appropriately, but rape has nothing to do with the clothes you wear. We teach our children to respect each individual and not to take anything that do not belong to them including body and dignity of another person.

    3. Wth. U actually defended the idea that wearing revealing clothes showing their privates is appropriate. U have to remember that ordinary men fantasize women who wear almost nothing at all. It's a reality and that's a real nature of man we cannot change. Unless u want to get fantasized. Male kids at an early age started seeing revealing clothes of women and that's where fantasy started that lead to being a rapist if not guided.

  6. Hi Kiko,

      Delete
Of course may mga rapist talaga. Pero don't make the victims feel guilty they got raped because of how they dress.

  27. Frankie is a privileged young lady who goes out of their house with a driver and some bodyguards. Tulfo is right, criminals are just waiting when to pounce. Remember rapists and sex offenders are sick people. Normal men do not look at women who expose their body. But it's the sick men who do.

  28. I'm with the PANGILINANs. When I was still in high school, waiting for my school service and of course in uniform, I felt a kiss in my head. Then, the dirty old man slowly walked away, turned his head back on me and gave me a filthy smile. I was wearing a school uniform, a conservative one because the school is a Catholic run. He didn't even need to see my face. Naka talikod ako from him. So it's not the way we dresses or even behave. It's them. It's never the victim's fault

34. Both ways yan. Alam natin may mga rapist and we should be responsible to ourselves the best we can. We can and hopefully avoid it by dressing uninviting clothes and the society must teach boys/ men to respect women.

  35. A lot of men go out of their houses without a shirt on, sometimes even walking around in their boxers, but women don’t normally ogle or take that as an “excuse” to rape. Women shouldn’t have to worry about their safety just because of what they wear. Men should know how to act appropriately and not make excuses every time they misbehave.

If you are a woman, protect yourself at all costs by means of dressing appropriately. Never underestimate a situation where you, yourself, are putting yourself in danger because we cannot control everyone's minds. We are not talking about elderlies and babies getting raped. The issue here is about WOMEN dressing inappropriately which oftentimes leads to rape. The police must have a back-up data to support their claim. Now, it is up to you if you will listen to their plea or not. Sometimes, in the end, we, ourselves, are to blame for being too stubborn.

  49. The reason why FILIPINOS agree with Tulfo is because Philippines is a “conservative-kuno” country. It’s a way to control people and it’s the same tactics our grandparents used to prevent us from wearing “sexy” clothes. But the real reason behind that is not to prevent rape but to instil the ways of catholicism and conservatism.

Yung mga grandparents and parents natin, sadly, are still siding with Tulfo.

Just saying na madami pang makikitid utak at hindi pa educated sa real cause ng rape, which is the rapists.

  51. Mr. Tulfo was right. His comments were made clear. Women today dresses like they dont need to hide things to behide. They are inviting to befantasized in the thoughts of men. Maternal shoots are well are showing of their whole body i hide lang konti ang dapat i hide. The percentage to be caught by mens eyes are high if you are not dressing well. Do not be a temptation kasi. Kaya dont be a food to them dahil aatake yan sila kapag ka nakakita ng timing. Tama naman si Tulfo marami na yan na tulungan sa case niya on his program. Huwag magalit pag i correct kung tama naman.

    ReplyDelete
For me, tulfo was just stating facts, kumbaga may incidents tlga ung kriminal nase2duce/naattract sa kung pananamit ng babae, kht di un intention ng babae. Kumbaga warning lang for women, not necessarily victim blaming.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I do not understand why people are reacting with the warning. Wala naman po masama na bigyan kayo ng warning about how to dress. no victim blaming naman ang nangyayari.

Why are we so quick to react, overacting naman na ata. Sa pagkakaalala ko, nun bata ako my parents always remind me to dress appropriately. I always followed my parents because it was a warning, a reminder to take care of myself. Isip ko nga nun di naman ako kagandahan para magustuhan ng rapist or manyak, but I still followed kasi warning nga. Its your choice if you want to follow or not. Wala naman siguro masama sa pag iingat.
