Ransomware. Ransomware is a type of malware from cryptovirology that threatens to publish the victim's data or perpetually block access to it unless a ransom is paid.
Di lang pala sa mga company to nangyayari pati na rin sa social media. Sa work ng hubby ko before..known company siya..na ransomware sila..they could not open any files..they could not access their network unless magbayad sila..they pay thru bitcoin so wala talaga tracing. Then after payment may pinadala sila password. Because of this the company needs to reformat everything to clean up the system.
Mukhang Russian yung hacker. Last screenshot in Cyrillic characters tapos natawa ako "Vatsap" (WhatsApp) daw. Laganap talaga hacking ngayon. Mga nakikisabay sa pandemic at walang magawang matino.
