    1. I'm feeling the same kapatid, I live and work abroad pero nasa Pinas parents at pamilya ko kaya madalas akong hindi mapalagay.

    2. It’s a hopeless country baks. It will always be hopeless until most of the country will be shallowed by the rising sea in the coming years.

    3. Haaay. I feel for you. I feel so lucky because my older siblings were able to find ways for my whole family to move out of the country. We even have our grandparents with us. We don’t mind working hard now that we have peace, security, freedom and opportunities in our new home/country.

    2. Yup, it’s even worse than ever now.

    3. Her statement is vague. She either target the government or the journalist who did stupidity to someone and hail herself a hero and all these complaints pertaining to the government. Ask her who she pertains to before u praise her coz the rock might bounce on ur face lol.

  14. piece of advice, if you are not happy with how the country is being managed, then leave. Migrate somewhere else instead of ranting every time things don't go your way.

    3. Bakit mo papaalisin ang taxpayer (I'm sure malaki binabayad na tax niyan) dahil hindi na sya masaya on how our country is being managed? All the more na dapat magreklamo sya dahil di nya alam san napupunta yung kinakaltas na pera sa pinapagpaguran niya. Palibhasa sanay kayo sa mediocre na trabaho ng gobyerno kaya gusto niyo taumbayan pa yung magadjust talaga hindi naman makakagalaw mga yan if we didn't give them the power and resources to run shit for our country.

Koreans and Japanese are known to be reklamador that's why pag may mali ang isang government official sa bansa nila nagreresign (even worst some committed suicide) because of their incompetence.

      Delete
    4. 3:08 What are people supposed to do? Suck it all up? Just let the government do whatever it wants? Ang tawag sa gusto mo is not patriotrism, gusto mo maging doormat ang tao. Doormat ka siguro, you just allow everything and everyone to just walk all over you.

    6. I am not happy too with how this country is being managed, would I like to live elsewhere? Hell yeah, if only I could. People may rant as they want. That’s how things could improve.

      Delete
    7. Piece of advise rin.

Parang pagibig lang din yan, mas nasasaktan ung mas nagmamahal.. the more u care abt the country, the more affected u r when things get BAD, not when "things don't go ur way".

  34. Lea, I feel you. My sibling is a frontliner doing her job. But the Philippines has the 3rd highest rate of COVID in Asia. Hindi tayo healthcare country. I don't really read the news, I don't participate when my friends engage in political discussions, I pay my taxes on time. Tapos ganito. It really sucks :(

  35. I was born and grew up in the Philippines, then when I was 13 my parents decided to move to Europe. For years, I missed the Philippines so much and only wanted to go back. Then by the time I was in my 30s, I was able to relocate to the Philippines with my own family. After 4 years, my husband (not Filipino) wanted to go back to Europe for different reasons. He didn't like his low-paying job, the traffic, the lack of efficiency everywhere. I didn't like the series of break-ins in our village, the terrible bureaucracy, traffic, lack of health care. So we moved back to Europe in 2018. It was heartbreaking for me because I had to give up on my dream of living in the Philippines. But I have to say, I don't regret leaving it all behind. I have more peace now living in a safe and efficient country with a stable government who really cares about their people.

    1. Dear 5:43

As a celebrity whom your fans and general public looks up to you, instead of promoting harmony by promoting patriotism, you spreading hatred. Hatred is the cause of war and violence. And I thank you.

      Delete
Kung lahat tayo aalis at hiyang hiya sa bayan natin, who will rebuild this country? Who will make this country better? Masaya sa ibang bansa kaiba, hi tech, di corrupt and tanong tangap ba nila tayo? Palubog ang Pinas di ba dapat ayusin? Abandon ship lang kasi alam nyo. Example nalang ung paglinis sa Manila Bay, it took a man from Davao to clean it, eh ang laki nang SunLife billboard mo dun malapit gawing Pasay. Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

    ReplyDelete
  40. She speaks the truth. People who get oversensitive when anyone criticizes the government and the ugly state of the country need to widen their minds. Giving up your right to free speech means condoning injustice and wrongdoing. The corrupt and greedy there are so shockingly, disgustiny shameless. Like many of the other commenters, I too live overseas but because I have family back there, it's worrying and frustrating. There have been times when I wondered what it would have been like to move back but in times like these, I realise that no, we are so blessed here. It's madness there. I pray for the Philippines..so tragic that the country our ancestors fought so hard to free from oppressors has enslaved its own people.

    1. Daming lumalabag sa batas. Ayaw niyo ng mahigpit. Ngayon kapag may mangyaring masama. Isisi niyo sa Government.

    3. Government should aide / support but it is not their responsibility na buhayin lahat ng pamilya. In terms of tax, oil, gas (nasa world market yan, they cannot control the price)

We pay tax dahil responsibility natin yan for our country. Mahirap puksain.

    5. Mahirap sugpuin ang corruption despite of the law marami pa rin nakakatakas. Imagine yourself inside the university, mahirap nga makita yung kawatan niyong classmate how much more sa government so Federalism is the key.

    6. MATITIGAS ANG ULO NG MGA PILIPINO, FEELING EXPERT. FEELING LAWYER, DOCTOR, AT INAABUSO ANG FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

    7. WE ALL HAVE OUR FREEDOM KASO ABUSO NA SA IBA.

  44. I feel u Lea... We all know that most Filipino's, if given the chance to migrate in a first world country would take it. I myself was born diyan sa Pinas but I only like to take my vacay there for 3 weeks or a month tops. I just don't see myself getting old there. Masayahin ang mga pinoy kasi nga , keysa naman mag-mokmok ka and get ur self in a deeper depression pag-iisipin nila ang pang-araw araw nilang pagkain. Ay naku...

    ReplyDelete
  45. one rare time i agree with lea. kung madaling makaalis, matagal na sigurong umalis ang marami.

  46. The happiest moment in my life was when I left pinas for good. I can live with being poor and hard work, but the abuse of power, corruption, non-existent justice, lack of infrastructure, ineptitude and incompetence of those in power, political dynasties, etc are not acceptable for me. It’s so hopeless there.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Meh, the people are also to blame for what’s happening in the country. They keep voting for the same corrupt, inept and abusive politicians, family dynasties and ex-entertainers as their “leaders”.
