I agree with AiAi. Been watching KDramas this past weeks because of quarantine and I must say na yung story ng The King is not really enticing. For me medyo boring yung story and even yung ratings nya sa South Korea is mababa. Daming pang flaws sa production na napansin ng mga viewes na kesyo hindi daw accurate sa history ng Korea something like that. Anyways that's my personal opinion...
Lee Min Ho will not give any of your movie a chance! Yun movie mo na nasa Netflix is trash it won't even reach Top 10 EVER! Well lahat ng movies mo eh Trash!!! You and your movies/series are the reason why walang kaledad ang Pelikulang Pilipino pati na din Teleserye! Your comedy is a big flop! Lahat ng viewers may mga sariling opinion. May reason sya kaya di nya nagustuhan, napuna nya yon habang pinanonood yon show. Sa mga fan siguro ni lmh kahit pangit yon show ok lang sa kanila kasi idol nila yon. Pero yon mga netizens na mahilig manood ng kdrama sympre hindi sila bias lalo na yon mga korean viewers.

Lee Min Ho is not good at pulling off Kim Eun Sook's style of male characters. Kim Eun Sook (famous writer of DOTS, Lovers in Paris,etc.) should've also just stuck to what she's good at but instead she tried to go deeper and ended up with a story that isn't this or that. I also don't feel any visual chemistry or acting chemistry between the leads... it's just a mess all around.
It's just boring.. the female lead was a miscast...😂
I find TKEM interesting. Madami naman KDrama na maganda but hindi pumatok sa ratings sa SoKor. While you were sleeping and Tempted is an example. Both from SBS pa. Ka parehas ng station ng TKEM.

I've watched KDrama shows that were cut short due to failed ratings. It doesn't mean mababa ratings eh hindi na maganda. I would rather watch KDramas over Aiai's teleseryes, sitcoms or movies any day!

I haven't seen this show yet but i wouldn't bash on Ai-Ai for giving her opinion/review about the show. Movie reviews are subjective, naka depende sa panlasa ng bawat tao. Hindi dahil nagustuhan ng isa eh magugustuhan din ng isa, parang sa pagkain lang yan iba-iba ang taste ng tao. But this i must say when she mentioned "ang daming intrusion: fastfood chain, coffee, etc" eh ganoon din naman ang mga TV shows and movies sa Pinas, hindi pwedeng mawala ang exposure ng mga endorsements and sponsors ng mga artista. So, it's a tie lang.

I love the series. It’s a less simplified explanation of a parallel universe. It may not be accurate because it is art and it has every right to be so. You have to follow the flow of the story para maintindihan mo at ma-appreciate. Risky but matapang kasi talagang di makakarelate ang iba especially yung di alam ang tungkol sa parallel universe at pag-incorporate ng numbers pagdating sa time. Kanya-kanyang appreciation n alang siguro ngq mga favorites, wag na lang siraan.
Pero wag naman sabihin ng mga tards na para sa matalino lang yung TKEM para lang ma-justify na maganda yung series. For me, wrong cast and supporting. Very poor yung pag-present ng storyline. Poor acting pa kasi hindi convincing na King si LMH at detective si KGE.
The girl is a really good actress but when it comes to romantic movies or series, miscast talaga siya. Hindi niya bagay yung may loveteam or yung matitipuhan ng bida just like cheese in the trap and Tune in for Love. Mas bagay siya dun sa Coin locker girl and Monster.
But those you mentioned tune in for love and cheese in the trap are successful. That’s unfair to say she is miscast that the main lead won’t go her coz she’s not the epitome of beauty? She may not be who you want to star next to Lee Minho but they casted her because she can deliver there two roles she’s expected to play. The coin locker you mentioned that’s exactly who she is as Luna. A of successful dramas have leads with less perfect looks like my name is Kim Samsoon. She is a versatile actress even her co stars and directors say that.They won’t cast her if they don’t think she can pull it off. She did an amazing job in this one. The problem of the drama was not the cast it was the directing and pacing and telling of the story.
Baks, baka naman hindi mo napanood. Nagsimula lang sya as supporting, kenkoy looking pa sya dati pero ngayon ang laki ng improvement nya. Mas may depth naman sya kaysa kay lmh. Lmh walang pinagbago ang acting nya, parehas lang din sa boys over flowers, the heirs -titig acting pangpakilig.

Pati yung mga co-stars walang chemistry sa isa't-isa. Madaming flaws ang series. Ni hindi nagkaron ng time i-research yung dapat iresearch. Dinaan na lang sa cinematography at sa big production.

Kim Go Eun hindi bagay kay Lee Min Ho. I hope Kim Go Eun hindi magiging overrated because so far, same acting skills siya. And mahilig siya to put her face upwards na hindi maganda tignan on cam. She also looks annoying when she speaks because of her teeth.

Im a kdrama fan since 2yrs or 3yrs ago and watched a lot of kdramas. For me this is one the best dramas kasi gumagana ang utak ko. The writer will keep you guessing till the very end but end up mali pala ang theories mo. Ganern. Hindi sya maganda if ang nanunuod is ayaw ng complications lolz kumbaga, this drama is for the intellectual people at hindi ung gusto nakalatag na ang story epi1 pa lang. This drama is unpredictable. After watching "Crash Landing On You," nagka K drama withdrawal symptoms ako. Paulit ulit ko pinanood. Buti na lang nagkaroon ng "World of the Married." Pagkatapos uli non, Withdrawal symptoms uli. Kailangan ko makahanap ng bagong panonoorin. Sa The King: Eternal Monarch, pinilit ko talaga tapusin yung unang episode. Nakakaantok lang.
I think you need to watch past the first episode to be able to gauge this drama. It is not everyone's cup of tea but i really like it. I'm not into fantasy dramas either but this drama is beautifully written, executed and very engaging.. so im not sure why everyone is hating on it.i think nasanay lang talaga kayo sa typical plot na girl meets boy, they fall in love and the end. this is not it but for those who likes to think outside the box, this is for you. This drama is nowhere near shallow, ganda kaya. The 2 episodes last week was major kilig and quite frankly the sweetest yet. Wala naman masama if Aiai and most of you didn't like it. Hindi kasi sya para sa mababaw and tamad umintindi. Sorry not sorry... if you didn't like, your loss really.
Sobra naman kayo kay Aiai, binigay nya lang opinyon nya regarding the knovela ni lmh. Wala ko nakitang mali don. I myself watch most korean shows, may mga nagugustuhan ako at hindi may mga nirerecommend ako sa friends and families ko at mayroon din na masasabi ko na boring talaga. DeleteI haven't seen this show yet but i wouldn't bash on Ai-Ai for giving her opinion/review about the show. Movie reviews are subjective, naka depende sa panlasa ng bawat tao. Hindi dahil nagustuhan ng isa eh magugustuhan din ng isa, parang sa pagkain lang yan iba-iba ang taste ng tao. But this i must say when she mentioned "ang daming intrusion: fastfood chain, coffee, etc" eh ganoon din naman ang mga TV shows and movies sa Pinas, hindi pwedeng mawala ang exposure ng mga endorsements and sponsors ng mga artista. So, it's a tie lang.

DeleteI love the series. It’s a less simplified explanation of a parallel universe. It may not be accurate because it is art and it has every right to be so. You have to follow the flow of the story para maintindihan mo at ma-appreciate. Risky but matapang kasi talagang di makakarelate ang iba especially yung di alam ang tungkol sa parallel universe at pag-incorporate ng numbers pagdating sa time. Kanya-kanyang appreciation n alang siguro ngq mga favorites, wag na lang siraan.

She may not be who you want to star next to Lee Minho but they casted her because she can deliver there two roles she’s expected to play. The coin locker you mentioned that’s exactly who she is as Luna. A of successful dramas have leads with less perfect looks like my name is Kim Samsoon. She is a versatile actress even her co stars and directors say that.They won’t cast her if they don’t think she can pull it off. She did an amazing job in this one. The problem of the drama was not the cast it was the directing and pacing and telling of the story.

Sa Goblin, Tune in for Love, parang same mellow acting lang siya.

Sanayan lang, sa ilang years nila nanonood ng shows na may subtitles hindi dubbing ah. So you mean feelers lang din yon professional movie critics na pati foreign film inaanalyze. Atchaka may pause, play and rewind mo pa kung hindi mo maget.

ReplyDeleteIm a kdrama fan since 2yrs or 3yrs ago and watched a lot of kdramas. For me this is one the best dramas kasi gumagana ang utak ko. The writer will keep you guessing till the very end but end up mali pala ang theories mo. Ganern. Hindi sya maganda if ang nanunuod is ayaw ng complications lolz kumbaga, this drama is for the intellectual people at hindi ung gusto nakalatag na ang story epi1 pa lang. This drama is unpredictable. ReplyDeleteAfter watching "Crash Landing On You," nagka K drama withdrawal symptoms ako. Paulit ulit ko pinanood. Buti na lang nagkaroon ng "World of the Married." Pagkatapos uli non, Withdrawal symptoms uli. Kailangan ko makahanap ng bagong panonoorin. Sa The King: Eternal Monarch, pinilit ko talaga tapusin yung unang episode. Nakakaantok lang.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to watch past the first episode to be able to gauge this drama. It is not everyone's cup of tea but i really like it. I'm not into fantasy dramas either but this drama is beautifully written, executed and very engaging.. so im not sure why everyone is hating on it.i think nasanay lang talaga kayo sa typical plot na girl meets boy, they fall in love and the end. this is not it but for those who likes to think outside the box, this is for you. This drama is nowhere near shallow, ganda kaya. The 2 episodes last week was major kilig and quite frankly the sweetest yet. Wala naman masama if Aiai and most of you didn't like it. Hindi kasi sya para sa mababaw and tamad umintindi. Sorry not sorry... if you didn't like, your loss really.

I myself watch most korean shows, may mga nagugustuhan ako at hindi may mga nirerecommend ako sa friends and families ko at mayroon din na masasabi ko na boring talaga. Hindi naman pareparehas ang preference natin.
