    1. True.

    1. Philippines' population is about a third of US's. Their death surpasses 100,000, by proportion ours should be about 33,000.
As of May 28, 2020 ours was just 921 to be exact.
Is our President a bad manager? Did he fail us given these numbers. May mga lapses sa implementation pero sana naman we have to give credit rin for those officials who work hard.

And now that NCR will be on GCQ, it's now up to the public to make it work.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. 12:48 why are using US as the yardstick when it’s crisis management is one of the worst in the world? Why not Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, New Zealand orSouth Korea? Is it colonial mentality or inferiority complex to the Americans or both?

      Delete
    4. 12:48 Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, New Zealand and South Korea have obedient citizens plus efficient healthcare system way before covid and Vietnam is a communist state that made it easier for their govt to perform contact tracing. So to downplay the efforts of the present govt is really unfair knowing that they're providing options and being responsive to the needs of the people. Yes may pagkukulang at magkukulang ang gobyerno because not all countries are prepared to handle this mysterious virus.

      Delete
    5. Actually 1:15, we shouldn't be comparing the Philippines with other Asian countries because we are culturally different from them. It's better to compare Filipinos with Latinos, na marami ring pasaway. I know this because I stayed in that part of the world. And yes, compared to those countries, we are doing better, dahil mas pasaway ang mga tao dun.

      Delete
    6. Lol excuses excuses 2:29am. Haay when will people learn?

      Delete
    7. Yung mga back to work sa Monday, sila din yung walang makukuhang ayuda once we are again put under ECQ once the second wave hits. Kakapal ng mga mukha both ng govt na to at ng mga umaasa lang sa ayuda. Samantalang yung mga talagang nagttrabaho, nganga.

      Delete
    8. 3:06 the point is, the only way we can win this battle is through discipline and by following protocols. Meron ba lahat satin nyan?

Puro kayo ayuda sa poorest of the poor, yung talagang nagbabayad ng buwis pinapabayaan nyo!

203 said it all.

      Delete

      Delete
    12. 2:03 You are correct on the preparedness of countries who managed the crisis better. While Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand and other countries prime their health system and supplies in January 2020, the Philippines just wanted to slap the virus away and only wanted to protect its relations with China. To say we are less disciplined is gaslighting the Filipinos since there is no study proving that

      Delete
    13. 3:06, I was responding to a previous comment about comparing the Philippines with its Asian neighbors. I acknowledge that the government has its shortcomings -- for instance, DOH should also disseminate latest scientific findings about COVID-19 so people will know how best to lower their risk of infection and not be as fearful of the virus, or provide more context about the information it releases. I, for one, would rather look at the bright side and think of solutions that could help me and others, rather than continue complaining without proposing solutions.

  5. Another nonsense presscon

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nonsense talaga? The President and his cabinet are addressing the nation regarding developments.. If you can't appreciate their reporting, eh di wag kang manood.

      Delete
    2. 12:55 how could one assess the presscon if it’s nonsense if one does not watch?

      Delete
    3. 1:17 manuod para ano? just to zero in on the officials and not the message that was relayed?

      Delete
    5. 2:15 speak for yourself as a presscon watcher

      Delete
    6. 12:40 I stopped watching his presscon after the 2nd time. I prefer the updates from reporters. Tapos, paikot ikot pa siya instead of direct to the point. And nonsense din talaga. May communication problems talaga itong gobyerno natin. Sabi nga ng supporter nila, focus on the message. Hahaha. Hirap magfocus kung paligoy ligoy.

      Delete
    7. No one is forcing u to watch the presscon ano gusto nyo kayo masusunod kung ano oras bkt naman kyo nagrereklamo naka lockdown naman palibhasa sa netflix kyo nappuyat. Sisihin nyo pa gobyerno

      Delete
    8. Totoo namang non- sense! I watched the previous ones pero laging lasing! And please, paano naging press con yun eh walang press? Lowest in ASEAN. That says a lot how the healthcare is a dismal failure!

      Delete
  6. Why not.

Ngayon back to work na ulit yung mga taong walang nakuha kahit konting tulong.

    1. How will it become second wave kung hindi pa tapos ang first wave.

      Delete
    2. 01:52 second wave ang tawag because we tried to contain the first time, people were quarantined, then another batch of people will be infected. Yun lang naman ang alam ko but don’t quote me, I’m just a regular healthcare provider.

      Delete
    3. Hahahaha ano ka ngayon 1:52??

      Delete
    4. Second wave only happens if according to the graph, we already managed to flatten the curve for the first time. Just like the waves we see on the beach, diba tataas then bababa yung tubig. Eh kaso di pa natin naflatten so panong second wave? Continuous pa din pagtaas ng cases natin, we are stuck on the first wave.

      Fyi 2:22 and 2:51am

      Delete
    5. More like second peak of the first wave.

      Delete

Good, funded helathcare systems and discipline. No need for ECQ. Thailand and Vietnam is handling the pandemic well. Testing is accessible.

Whatever is happening int he government and how it is being run, literal pambayad utang lahat sa pagka panalo. Naiiyak na siguro mga bayani natin. Anong nangyari Pilipinas kong mahal.

      Delete
    7. 1:52 is correct. Wala pa tayo sa second wave since di pa tapos ang first.

      Delete
    3. They did declare a state of emergency, which was basically voluntary lockdown. They are more disciplined.

      Delete
    4. And mass testing is key too. As it is with our situation now, without mass testing, para tayong mga bagong bulag na nangangapa sa dilim, so expect na talaga na kakalat at kakalat yan.

      Delete

  10. You guys are lucky.. I am not saying na perfect ang government nyo. At least may ginawa. Look at Brazil, Philippines would've suffered the same fate kung hindi naging mahigpit ang government. Here in the United States very lax. We have 100K++ deaths and yet almost back to normal na. People are even protesting pag nirequire sila magmask. Right daw nila na wag mag mask. I personally don't feel safe going out. This is a global pandemic. D lang mga Filipino ang nahihirapan. Lahat ng tao sa mundo. A lot of people lost their jobs here.. Just saying. Siguro kahit sa simpleng pagiingat nalang by wearing mask and washing our hands and social distancing, makakatulong tayo sa ibang tao. Wag puro batikos.. isip isip din.

    1. kasi yung president nyo diyan inuuna ang pang aaway instead fighting against the virus. in denial pa siya and look! what happened? at the end of the day, it's the response of the government that matters a lot. how come other countries were able to do it? eliminating the virus? too much politics sa america kagaya sa Pilipinas.

      Delete
    2. It's okay na alisin na ang lockdown as long as people are matured enough to take care of themselves. Di naman pwede forever ka lockdown. The purpose of it is to flatten the curve, if ever tumaas ulit then higpitan ulit.

Pag Wala disciplina goodluck .. sumunod at wag maging pasaway. It’s easy for us to say na Hinde pa dapat mag gcq Paano we have homes, we have something to to eat, Kahit work from home tayo May sweldo tayo nakukuha Yung mga tao Hinde work from home Paano na sila? Nga nga na Lang . Again we can’t blame them to go out and work.

Kahit nga Station Testing ay mayron na like what Korea did. Even taxis, only 2 passengers are allowed. Nobody will sit near the driver. Go ka na, don't force yourself to stay in UAE. Afterall ypu're most welcome in the Philippines.
