I dress up for myself, and I want to make myself presentable and pretty because it makes ME feel good. I put make-up on for no one BUT MYSELF. I believe Heart is the same. To ask her not to dress-up is like asking her to stop doing something that makes HER happy.
What if brewing coffee makes you happy? What if cataloguing your books or capturing photos of your pets make you happy? Will you ask those people to stop doing that as well because "eh di mo nalan kailangan ipost yang picture ng libro mo. Dimo nalan kailangan ipost yang picture ng aso mo."

This!! So much! I, too, dress up for myself. Boyfriend is stuck somewhere far and I'm stuck here working from home. Even if I don't do work calls, I still prefer dressing up in the morning and applying light makeup. Even on weekends I tend to dress up my pambahay look. When I cook, I like to design my dish and plating galore. Kahit ako lang naman nakakakita. It makes me happy to see myself pretty and my cooking pretty. People who are miserable will never understand this because they don't see beauty in things.
