      Delete
    4. @3:00 iba iba ang tao. If you're a teacher, you have to bear in mind na ang mga students mo are different and they may have different perspectives on a certain material presented to them and this is also applicable on any presentation tv or radio.

    5. Legit yung tanong nya.

It doesn’t matter kung anong news websites. Like sa LA Times, may spanish version nga sila ng news and announcements even the announcements from the mayor.

Yung commenter ang bastos.. that's the culture in the Philippines..sa schools, students are scared to ask questions or to challenge teachers dahil tatawagin ang mga students na bobo.. personalan kaagad.

    2. Education should make you a humble person. But sometimes itong mga tao na edukado ay sila pa ang mga arrogante at madalas mag look down sa kapwa nila.. sila ang mga mal educado.

      Delete
    3. You're full of arrogance @1:16..iyan ang nakuha mo sa education mo? If that's the kind of person you are, your education had not helped you a lot.

      Delete
    4. @1:16 sadly, ang mga looters and crooks sa bansa natin have also gone to schools - reputable schools.. sad but true.

      Delete
    5. I agree with 116. Ako nahihiya sa comment ni Angelica. Sarcastic kasi tanong niya kaya napahiya nung naburn ni basher

      Delete
    6. @2:39 and they're the ones who get away with it. Sad reality sa atin. Ewan ko? Ano kaya ang tinuturo sa mga universities sa atin that these politicians become crooks and corrupt once they're in their offices?

    7. 1:27 AM If she want detailed report then she should have clicked the link. Most probably maintindihan din niya what Window hours mean. On the other hand kahit tamad siya magbasa tama naman din siya na she can get the shortcut and ask her followers what it means instead.

    9. @1:16 College graduate si Angge and is smart. She can actually write well and wants to learn script writing. She is just not articulate when speaking English..

  7. Hindi inclusive ang reporting nila. Madami akong kilalang Pilipino that speak a dialect as their first language and tagalog as their second. Posting news articles in English is excluding the working class who has access to their pages. Sabihin na natin marunong sila mag English but being able to speak it and comprehend it are two different things.

      Delete
    2. In other countries they have high respect to the people of the land kaya laging may translation sa native language so sa atin - Tagalog.. wala sa atin.. puro English and the saf thing this foreign language ay ginamit para maka look down sa kapwa mong Filipino. So sad.. colonial mentality.

      Delete
    3. Hi, 139AM, I am from CNN PH May tagalog newscast po kami. 12nn and 3pm. FYI, thanks!

      Delete
    4. Tama ka. Dito bilingual sila at may mag sign language para sa mga bingi..sa atin wala and the sad thing din na yung may pinag aralan kuno sila pa ang mag look down sa kapwa.. their education has not helped them become a good person at least.. education should not give us the right to belittle others..

      Delete
    5. 1:28, Wrong ka. Most non-Tagalog regions in pinas, speak more English than Tagalog. I’m from the Visayas, we almost never speak Tagalog. We speak the local dialect and English. We watch more English tv shows and movies.

      Delete
    6. @2:10 just a suggestion. Pwede if while you're broadcasting in English yung Filipino version ay kasama na rin para isahan nalang? That's a suggestion though..baka pwede pag samahin.

      Delete
    7. 1:48, other countries are more than happy to explain if you don't understand and appreciate it if you ask questions rather than act like you understand.

      Delete
    8. @2:26 but you can understand Tagalog. We're not discussing about speaking in Tagalog here. We're talking about understanding on what's being reported. Bisaya din ako and I can understand Tagalog. I don't mind if they report it in Tagalog as long reliable yung news.

      Delete

Some of them even lived here for 20 years.

      Delete
  15. I think most people here are missing the point. The caption on the report is vague, and does not clearly state what the impact or alternative arrangement would be. Lately, I have been very disappointed in the quality of reporting both in the Philippines and even in other countries. It is generally sloppy and assumes that their audience knows a significant amount of background information. The point of news is to inform the public. If someone like Angelica cannot understand the point of the article, then query whether it serves its intended purpose. And if the answer is no, then what is the point of the article? To serve only the interest of the author?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Angge is not interested in the article, what she wants is a Tagalog version of the news.So this has nothingbto do with the content.

    3. 2:55, It’s just you who doesn’t get it. No window hours means it’s the opposite, which means open all day. Nobody is saying about closing grocery stores diba. Clear enough.

    4. Lol, if the caption in not clear, then you should read the article to know what it’s all about. Gets mo. It’s that simple.
