Lol. Nakakahiya rin kase. The security were just doing their jobs. She got too close to them. Plus, she even said na if it’s up to her she won’t cover them. What will her superiors think of that remark?
Pag nalaos mga yan, which is very quickly as far as K-Pop groups are concerned, they will realize that.
Why are you so quick to judge them eh pumunta lang naman sila rito to be for with their fans? Why blame Seventeen on anything? And to those racist commenters who have no knowledge of them, they can understand English. 2 of the team are even born and raised in America.
Correct. Think about this another way, just for better perspective...Marisol Abduraman (and other GMA journalists) reported on the ground during typhoon Haiyan, during the Marawi siege, and other national news of that magnitude, then she gets this assignment (lol)...I mean...I can’t blame her for saying what she said. Her only fault was she uttered her thoughts in that moment of frustration. Cut the lady some slack, she is good at what she does. Overall, I don’t see any infraction on the matter. Forgive her and move on. #onwards
300 then you are like her unprofessional. It is your job to cover it even if you dont like it. Your comment is a typical pinoy negative trait. Please change for the better.
Daming mas relevant issues than reporting about this group. It's not worth masaktan just to get a scoop from them.
Kaya dpt be nice.
No,she was caught off guard.
What provoked her kaya to say that? Baka napikon dun sa security medyo rough sa pagpigil sa kanya.
I agree. Maybe she was forced by the news agency to cover this instead of doing more serious journalism, was already frustrated well enough that when she was shoved by the guards, she lost it and uttered some harsh words to vent out such frustration. Let's always look at both sides of the coin.
Kpop and interviews should be between the management and the network.Umupo sila at mag interview ng maayos.Tulad ng mga hollywood actors.Wala naman inambush interview.
3:01 True enough. It's like walking on eggshells when you cover stories about these Kpop idols. Even one tiny wrong move, it'll always blow out of proportion and even if a public apology has been issued, it still won't suffice to pacify their raging fans.
8:38 True.
Isip-isip.
Hindi to OA eh. She really should have apologized. She acted so unprofessionally. First, she didn’t research what she’s allowed to do and what she’s not. Second, she was stopped by the staff but she pushed on, invading the artists’ personal space and shoving her mic at their faces. Third, when she was reprimanded by the staff, she ranted about not wanting to cover them anyway. What was that diba? Nakakahiya din kase that reflects how our media is here in the Philippines.
May background kase yan. Pero pinilit nila matuloy for the fans. Kaya if you’ll notice ang behave ng fans sa airport. They weren’t trying to touch them or get close to them. Just saying hi. Nag iingat lahat because of the virus. Then came ate reporter na bigla nalang sumugod papunta sa van shoving her mic on their faces.
If you’re a professional dapat alam na nya yung appropriate and not appropriate sa mga icocover nya. Same as if you’re a host you have to research beforehand about your guest diba? And no, fans won’t be flattered. The fans are looking out for the idols and their privacy was invaded add to that pa the virus thing so the fans got really pissed.
2:26 okay point taken. But she already apologized. So ano pang kulang? Luluhod ba? Were you jealous that much na kahit “unprofessional” as you claimed eh nakalapit siya sa idols niyo na never niyo magagawa?
158 Wow!people like you should know to be professional. So unprofessional of her. If she dont like the job magresign sya.
Sus! Give us a break!
This reporter is obviously clueless on how kpop fandoms work. Fans actually give them space and are respectful.
Just resign then if she dont like it.
Let them enjoy what they are passionate about.
In fairness, di naman pare-pareho.š I watch kdramas when i have time.
oh the high and mighty kpop. oh please. they're just here for the money. pero usually di naman priority ang pilipinas sa mga ganyan, they dont really like it here
So what if they are for the money. Singing and dancing for their fans makes them happy and earn money since it is their job. In return fans are happy to see them and creating memories even if you grow old will not amount to anything. For you it is a waste of time but for them it is precious. Think about that.
Me as a fan and not of seventeen know that they are working and i am paying if i go to their concert to be entertained. Not to be loved by them. It is like you buy expensive bags, shoes, car but they dont love you back. Hndi lahat ng umaattend ng concert at fans kagaya mo magisip. The point here is that Marisol reporter is not doing her job professionally and she knows it that is why she apologize.
There is nothing wrong about being a kpop fan,but who are you to control other peoples lives like this reporter? She was having a bad day Im sure maski kayo, sometimes you rant about your job or about your boss.Wag kayo nagmamalinis.
5:34 pwede sya mag rant pag nasa loob na sya ng van at hindi kailangan marinig ng madaming tao or bakit hindi sya nag rant about her job or about her boss sa harap mismo ng boss nya bago nya inaccept yung trabaho na binigay sakanya para hindi sana sya nakabastos ng ibang tao.
We should learn something from the Japanese. Sila they really respect yung personal space. I saw a vid where an idol was singing close to the fans but instead na dumugin siya they gave him space.
Team Marisol din ako. What's wrong with doing an interview eh reporter sya?
I don't know why Philippine media always report these K-pop bands kahit hindi naman sikat.
Puro na lang made up hashtags and trending events.
Wow! People like you do not know the meaning of being a professional. Rethink your thoughts please. Even if that group is not bigger than other more popular groups it does not give you right to do that. Her network give her task to do and they are counting on her to do it right.
Bottomline she did nothing wrong. She was just doing her job and this specific task she hated. Parang rubbing salt on wound.
Be a bigger person pr fandom na lang š
That was unprofessional - from the shoving to the complaining. Hindi naman 100% of the time, makukuha mo ung assignment na gusto mo...it doesnt mean that you wont follow protocol and badmouth who you're interviewing. Glad she apologized.
This journalist has been on the frontlines of the most important events in our country (Zamboanga Siege, Marawi to name a few). To be assigned (maybe even forced?) to cover a K-pop group instead of the more pressing issues of our country must have been frustrating for her, that in a moment of weakness she uttered her frustration out. And to apologize in spite of is a testament to her character not only as a journalist but as a person. I admire her even more because of that.
True yan eto tlga una ko naisip nakakababa ng pagkatao nya yung ganitong assignments considering her track record. Moment of weakness yung frustration sa totoo hindi nya kelangan mag sorry.
oh yes it must've been frustrating for her pero hindi nya dapat ipagsigawan yun in public. sana kung nakakababa pala ng dignidad nya yung assignment na binigay sakanya, dun sya sa network nya derecho na nag complain edi sana hindi sya nkabastos ng ibang tao.
unprofessional nga ginawa nya kasi kahit ayaw mo dun sa icocover mo just keep it kasi wala ka dapat piliin dahil trabaho mo yan kaso oa din naman talaga mga kpop fans kasi akala nila lahat dpat sambahin mga idolo nila ako nga kahit aware ako na sikat ang kpop hindi ko padin sila kilala at d ko alam mga mukha at pangalan even their songs.
I hope she gets some form of disciplinary action and retraining. She should be reminded that she carries the name of the network she is with. Her decorum esp when doing a coverage is a reflection of her home network.
She was given a task, she must obliged whether she likes it or not.
Isang respetadong journalist si Marisol. Although her action was unprofessional in this video, it doesn't discount all her years of hard work and service. She most definitely will learn from this. She apologized so it was a humbling experience for her. Let's forgive and move on.
Last Oct I was in Paris at may ganito ring kpop group, may fans na naghihintay sa labas bat wla nmang media na nagcocover.
I understood her sentiments. Unfortunately, she was assigned to cover the group.
Nakakatawa yung iba dito na masyadong triggered about Marisol's reaction.Kesyo dapat mag resign.Kung kayo na lang kaya mag migrate sa Korea and live your fantasy. For sure these kpop wouldnt even notice you or marry you, they cannot understand your culture. So wake up!
Why send tropa ni Gus Abelgas to do Gretchen Fullido's job??? Imagine Gus Abelgas asking BTS about their favorite lipstick... Hahahahahahahahahaha! WHy are you trolling these journalists? No wonder Marisol lost her cool! LOL!
Now you know that not all media people are dying to interview your kpop idols.
And yes journalist ako at naexperience ko mga ito and this is downright unprofessional

DeleteSus! Give us a break!
DeleteTeam Marisol. lol
ReplyDeleteThis reporter is obviously clueless on how kpop fandoms work. Fans actually give them space and are respectful.
Just resign then if she dont like it.
OA.
DeleteBat nman sya magreresign? Lol, sikat ba yang mga yan. š¤£
Delete11:56 why dont you get a life.
Very wild kapag nakikita.
hahahaha exactly! pare-pareho mukha to the point that, i cant tell them apart!
Let them enjoy what they are passionate about.
DeleteI watch kdramas when i have time.
Pano nasama Hollywood dyan teh? May iba lang masisi lol
Delete11:58 at least Hollywood naintindihan ng karamihan hehe
DeleteOk lang humanga sila sa kpop pero hindi niyo pwede diktahan ang behavior ng iba kung ayaw nila sa KPOP.it is not their thing.
DeleteYour comment is ignorant and racists.
DeleteYungbibang kpop sa sobrang make up mukha ng beky.
Deleteoh the high and mighty kpop. oh please. they're just here for the money. pero usually di naman priority ang pilipinas sa mga ganyan, they dont really like it here
ReplyDeleteThere is a language barrier.
DeleteEveryone’s here for the money. Why always single out KPop? Xenophobia is real.
DeleteSo what if they are for the money. Singing and dancing for their fans makes them happy and earn money since it is their job. In return fans are happy to see them and creating memories even if you grow old will not amount to anything. For you it is a waste of time but for them it is precious. Think about that.
May personal space pa daw huey...
DeleteThere is nothing wrong about being a kpop fan,but who are you to control other peoples lives like this reporter? She was having a bad day
DeleteIm sure maski kayo, sometimes you rant about your job or about your boss.Wag kayo nagmamalinis.
5:34 pwede sya mag rant pag nasa loob na sya ng van at hindi kailangan marinig ng madaming tao or bakit hindi sya nag rant about her job or about her boss sa harap mismo ng boss nya bago nya inaccept yung trabaho na binigay sakanya para hindi sana sya nakabastos ng ibang tao.
DeleteWe should learn something from the Japanese. Sila they really respect yung personal space. I saw a vid where an idol was singing close to the fans but instead na dumugin siya they gave him space.
ReplyDeleteWell,we are not Japanese. We have our own culture.
DeleteWe should learn something from the Japanese, they love their own culture, they support their local artists.
DeleteTeam Marisol din ako. What's wrong with doing an interview eh reporter sya?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why Philippine media always report these K-pop bands kahit hindi naman sikat.
Puro na lang made up hashtags and trending events.
Wow! People like you do not know the meaning of being a professional. Rethink your thoughts please. Even if that group is not bigger than other more popular groups it does not give you right to do that. Her network give her task to do and they are counting on her to do it right.
Delete321 chos! Nagsorry na yung reporter. Jusko maski nman sino mapipikon no, nasaktan c ateng reporter at for real they are not worth it na ibalita. Lol
DeleteBottomline she did nothing wrong. She was just doing her job and this specific task she hated. Parang rubbing salt on wound.
Are they so big in the music industry na kailangan silang sambahin ni Marisol.
Be a bigger person pr fandom na lang š
DeleteThat was unprofessional - from the shoving to the complaining. Hindi naman 100% of the time, makukuha mo ung assignment na gusto mo...it doesnt mean that you wont follow protocol and badmouth who you're interviewing. Glad she apologized.
ReplyDeleteThis person was obviously having a bad day because she got hurt.Kaya yan napa salita ng ganun
DeleteThis journalist has been on the frontlines of the most important events in our country (Zamboanga Siege, Marawi to name a few).
ReplyDeleteTrue true, true! Nakakababa ng dignidad. Lol
Problema ba natin yun?
DeleteI hope she gets some form of disciplinary action and retraining. She should be reminded that she carries the name of the network she is with. Her decorum esp when doing a coverage is a reflection of her home network.
ReplyDeleteChos!
DeleteThats still none of your business. Her life, her rules.
She was given a task, she must obliged whether she likes it or not.
ReplyDeletehindi nmn kasi talaga yan ang ibinabalita nya.
Charot.
ReplyDeletePag tinulak ako, i will utter the same...
Although her action was unprofessional in this video, it doesn't discount all her years of hard work and service. She most definitely will learn from this. She apologized so it was a humbling experience for her. Let's forgive and move on.
ReplyDeleteThe who sila?
ReplyDeleteGoogle mo girl. Do you expect someone to explain who they are
Last Oct I was in Paris at may ganito ring kpop group, may fans na naghihintay sa labas bat wla nmang media na nagcocover.
ReplyDeleteHindi talaga yan maambush interview dahil wala siyang maisasagot.Nganga sa English yan.Needs interpreter!
DeleteNot everybody likes KPOP like this reporter. So you dont demand that she behaves like a fan or be mesmerized by KPOP
I understood her sentiments. Unfortunately, she was assigned to cover the group.
ReplyDeleteNakakatawa yung iba dito na masyadong triggered about Marisol's reaction.Kesyo dapat mag resign.Kung kayo na lang kaya mag migrate sa Korea and live your fantasy. For sure these kpop wouldnt even notice you or marry you, they cannot understand your culture. So wake up!
ReplyDeleteLol. She’s just being real š
ReplyDeleteIt didn’t seem as bad naman.
Hahaha
ReplyDeleteWhy send tropa ni Gus Abelgas to do Gretchen Fullido's job??? Imagine Gus Abelgas asking BTS about their favorite lipstick... Hahahahahahahahahaha! WHy are you trolling these journalists?
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Marisol lost her cool! LOL!
Hahaha,oo nga with his voice o kaya si Mike Enriquez,,,pasok!
DeleteNow you know that not all media people are dying to interview your kpop idols.
And yes journalist ako at naexperience ko mga ito and this is downright unprofessional
