News people who went there on their own accord risked their own safety, surely hindi dahil sa pera but for a higher purpose, cause no income in the world will make someone be ok with risking their lives. ReplyDeleteAbs cbn news even AnC are reporting on how Abs cbn franchise helps the poor people. Puro appeal to emotion. Paawa. I thought I was gonna watch news kaya. napalipat ako sa GMA. Winning the public sympathy doesnt equate to evidence.
If ABS-CBN loses the franchise they could operate as a company pa naman ala netflix, a production company na lang. But they amassed billions in debt na ang puhunan nila to pay is their franchise (selling commercial spots 150k per 30s) in itself. Losing the franchise would cause them to declare bankruptcy due to the debt they could not pay. Was the debt warranted in the first place? Ofc to show na they have the best talents and best show franchises. They bit off more they could chew.

DeleteABS is still Philippines best source of quality entertainment on free tv. While they are not perfect, they can be called/penalized etc for issues they are proven liable. Closing the company for me is not an option. Name a network or a company who has no issues. Even small companies that are seem easy to manage has issues what more these companies who employ thousands.

Congess not acting on the franchise renewal, tito sotto and allan peter cayetano saying that abs can still operate up to the end of the 18th session granting congress does not act on the renewal, the quo warranto case filed by calido. These are all part of duterte's game. There are only 2 issues: galit si duterte sa abs and a crony of his is interested to buy abs. Ang mga trolls na nagsasabing ipasara na abs; good bye abs; paawa abs - seriously? Sarli nyo bang opinion yan? O nakiki uso lang kayo ?
