2:20 Unless you're in your 40s, considered ka malamang na millenial. And kung gen x ka naman, then oh well, your generation raised all these millenials. Was it the jejemon upbringing that caused all these kababawan?
7:45 May word na disaster nga diba? Di naman sinabing beautiful lang. It is acknowledged na sakuna at maraming napinsala, but also acknowledging yung aesthetics doesn’t mean binabalewala mo ang mga taong napahamak. Come on, nung nakita mo yung mga photos ng usok, di ka nagandahan? People who said it out loud are those true to themselves.
Filipinos are just amazed to see something like that for the first time. But they are aware of what's happening. And yeah I can't take those Taal jokes.
Ah yun ba yung sa beautiful disaster, i don't think it's a joke. More like nagandahan but at the same time nakakatakot and nakaka kaba, if you look it in a certain way pag andun ka kasi at 1st time mong makikita yung taal na ganun, mapapatulala ka eh, tapos bigla mo na mare realize na nakakatakot sya pala at the same time. That's what i think though. But joke? Hindi noh, nope. No. Sa tala joke naman inarange nila as taal, kasi tala nation ganyan, parang premonition raw. Tbh walang nag jo joke sa twitter. san nya nakuha yan?
Todo defend? It’s insensitive to even call it Beautiful Disaster when it poses threat and danger to public. Regardless if it’s a joke or not, it should not be taken lightly when there are people who could die because of the hazards of ashes, earthquakes and whatnot. I don’t get your tala explanation because it’s too vacuous and it does not make sense. What I don’t get is your tolerance for these insensitivity and stupidity.
Marami akong nababasang joke or mga nagpapatawa pa amid the situation.
hindi lang naman kasi sa twitter lang me nagjo-joke, me fb ig even actual conversations pa. just because you did not see it,it doesn’t mean it did not happen.
Frankie...please, stop seeking attention by posting and commenting on things that are not really happening so as to make you feel relevant. You may have read a few jokes (hindi naman widespread). Nanjan ka sa NY to study and basking on what your rich life has to offer. Umuwi ka kaya and find a way to help out? Para yang tinatalak mo could gain some grounds. Pa woke ka masyado!
Well nature can both be beautiful and terrifying. As for the jokes, WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO FEEL OFFENDED? In fact I can appreciate that Pinoys can somehow find some humour at times of disasters. It isn't the joke per se, but you finding some means on being resilient! It's better than crying while facing the problems.
Nonetheless, keep safe kabayans and obey the authorities if you are required to evacuate. I'm an 80s kid and experienced the massive earthquake and Pinatubo explosion during early 1990s. The ash from ash falls can really make you sick.
Have you seen the extent of damage this disaster has caused? And still causing? Finding humor to something tragic is downright insensitive. Some take it lightly as if this is not a concern. I don’t see how these memes and ‘jokes’ represent resiliency. Is it so hard to show compassion during these trying times by not making fun of the misfortunes of others?
Anong pinuputok nito??
I dont know kun san nia nakukuha na may nagjjoke about Taal...pero reassess your feed and group of people you interact with. If they joke about things baka ganun ka shallow nasa radar ng social network mo. Think about it
How sure are you that those insensitive posts come from her circles? Frankie being Mega’s daughter, has followers from different walks of life and different generations, it may have come from those shallow GenZ, but not from her close circles.
Ate 5:15, may sinabi ba ako about her close circles? Ikaw lang nagsasabi niyan..... sabe ko people she interacts with...in general parin ang sinabi ko.
It is a beautiful disaster. That’s what we call Mayon (from a bicolano word Magayon: beautiful) she is beauty and a beast at the same time. There is nothing insensitive with that. Yung tala sh** na pauso ng mga jej, that is insensitive.
Mother Nature is beautiful. And it is a disaster It is a beautiful disaster captured in photographs.
There was also a photo called “The Most Beautiful Suicide.” The term didn’t mean to offend nor romanticize death or tragedy but rather the irony of visual and the circumstance.
That is kung nagiisip pa.
Delete2:20 hello! Wag mo po kaming lahatin, tita. Di mo din magugustuhan kapag ginegeneralize namin kayong entitled oldies.
DeleteMillennial? Huwag mo kaming idamay jan. Do you mean, GenZ?

ReplyDeleteShe has a point. A point, perhaps, you’ll never understand because you are part of unbred culture who laughs and makes fun of calamities.
Deleteher point is valid. You should be the one shutting your mouth 1:34

DeleteMaybe you should shut up? You’re part of the problem.
DeleteSis. Just fly away and stop commenting if you don’t have anything positive to say.
DeleteParang wrong ka, Atey... I don't see anything bad sa post niya. Why shut up when tama lang naman sinani nya we shouldn't treat the calamity a joke.
Delete1:34 She has a very valid point. You should shut up instead.
DeleteWow. Really? You hate her? Maybe you're the ones posting taal jokes kaya affected kayo. She has a point. There's nothing wrong with what she said
Like... in general.
DeleteLove,

It's time to increase your awareness bakz. Di kusang gigising sa yo yan.
DeleteFilipinos are just amazed to see something like that for the first time. But they are aware of what's happening. And yeah I can't take those Taal jokes.
ReplyDeleteNakita mo yung photos? Kamangha mangha namma talaga

DeleteTrue. I want so much to like her, but she’s just too pretentious.
DeleteThin line of woke and pa-relevant
DeleteMga DDS lang kasi kayo. Lol.
DeleteDisaster is never beautiful. Lol. It means destruction, suffering and/or death. The two words are moronic mismatched.
