It’s in the name, ‘reservist’. They don’t get paid or not paid as much as a regular soldier, so most have regular jobs. The training is also different. Kung may calamity, war, etc. pwede silang tawagan if they need more people to assist, fight, etc.
Civilians sila, not technically soldiers. As reservists, pwede silang tawagin to assist if need ng tulong. But they are definitely not trained for war. Ibang usopan naman yun. At totally different training. Yang mga reservists, I'm not sure kung ilang days or kung higit 1 week ba ang training. At wala rin naman silang ginagawang yearly training or boot camp. They just had that one training session at the start as initiation to get that "reservist" title.

Ang sarap mo i-imerse sa reservist training para mabago perception mo na “They JUST had that one training session blah blah” FYI, it’s NOT JUST a training session, it’s an intensive training for months. Of course, not the kind training a real soldier undergoes but it is an intensive, pukpukan training of discipline, camaraderie and loyalty nevertheless. Ahaha. I'm sorry basher but Dingdong is a different breed. He is genuinely liked and respected by the people who work with him and for him. He's a really nice guy, smart, articulate and disciplined - he's not perfect but he comes close. He's never a patola and when he responds to trolls, he does so like the gentleman that he is. Likewise, people around him are only too happy to defend him - in a polite way. Not all men born with a silver spoon are created equal but there are those who live up to expectations like Dingdong.
