Siguro mukhang gullibles sila.

    2. Do what exactly 12:57? Mega talak sa socmed pero in real life tameme rin. Dapat bago mag travel abroad, nag research muna sila kung magkano ang taxi from airport at hotel and learn some important phrases in French lalo na famous sila na hate mag English.

    3. Dapat talaga mag research when you travel. Kahit saan may mga mandurugas. May Le Cab service sa mga European cities and may app so you can book direct and they’ll give you a quote. It’s easy and safer.

    4. Research is important sa pag travel as tourist. Usually mga hotels may option na offer kung gusto mong pasundo from the airport. It’s more convenient and safer pa since authorized sila ng mga hotels mag hatid or sundo. My sisters and I went to Paris and London few months ago at first time namin to visit doon. Wala namang aberya. Hindi naman rude mga French in general. Mga nakausaup namin kahit limited lang English nila very nice naman, same in London.

      Delete
    5. 1239 true. Di nman sila rude. If you wish them a good day, they will smile pa nga and answer back.

    6. True 12:09, I went there solo last 2018 and suuuuper safe ako taking the metro, bus and even taxis. Re pickpockets, parang trip to divisoria at baclaran lang yan, dapat aware ka sa paligid at May presence of mind. Hindi sila as friendly as other eu cities but if ikaw mauna to greet, they will reciprocate.

    6. Nah, yung retribution is yung narealize ng mga tao yung kash*ngaan niya at ipinamukha sa kanya na sh*nga siya after that holocaust post, cause that's a direct consequence of something that she actually did. This circumstance on the other hand is an unfortunate incident.

Tapos my tour guide kayo lagi.

It can happen anywhere.

      Delete
    2. Paris has an intensive Train system. It would be easy to find a budget hotel na merong station. Wala nga lang elevator or escalator yung ibang station. Better to take the train, but all the time watch out kasi marami ring snatcher. The taxi driver is just a mas mayamang version ng mga snatcher unfortunately.

      Delete
    3. Yes, we did group tour no hassled nice bus Mercedes Benz great hotels and lovely breakfasts and dinner with tour guide that full of history London to Rome tour its a worry free and only you can do is to enjoy. I really recommend mga baks walang problema.

    4. Ako nag travel ako mag isa from airport to my hotel and kinita nalang friend ko dun. Lesson lang kasi sa mga kapwa kong pinoy travelers, kapag sa Europe kayo pupunta, mag research muna kayo and matuto kahit excuse me man lang and hello or if marunong mag english na phrase.

    2. That's actually scary. It is not exagerrated when it comes to a point when harassment is involved especially the taxi driver knows where they live. He can call other people to harass them while they can't get immediate help from police due to language barrier.

      Delete
    3. Wala kang pamilyo no? Or kung meron man di siguro mahalaga sa iyo kung mapahamak sila o hindi?

      Delete
    4. 2:54 wala kang pagpapahalaga sa sarili no? Un tipong nauutakan na nakangiti pa din? May limitasyon ang lahat. Pamilya, kaibigan.

      Delete
  9. That’s why it’s important to research before arriving at any location. Many private cars wait outside and will try to get you to ride with them to take to your accommodation and overcharge you. But, outside the airport, theres actually a sign where “taxi” sign is and just wait there. I know it is flat rate of 60 euro or something to take you from airport to most of the city of Paris.

Buti nlang safe kami.

      Delete
    3. True.

    4. Wow tapos 450 Euro siningil. Hinayupak talaga yung driver na yun.

    5. Hindi lang yun research sa place. Learn some key words and phrases, too. It does help kahit di ka fluent. And there are travel forums online where you can even seek suggestions and assistance in creating an itinerary. Kami nga ng family ko, I found Rick Steves book and forum highly informative and helpful, especially when planning a travel to Europe. I even had one forum member make a translation note for me pag kumain kami sa restaurant as my son has a serious allergy. Resources are out there so it pays to do your research.

Una sa lahat French people are rude. It's given. Just another day at the office si taxi driver. Walang epek kuda mo

      Delete
    5. May Uber pa naman sa Paris, 1:33AM, although I prefer Bolt because of their discount promos. While rudeness should never be tolerated, minsan talaga better na mag research para maka iwas nalang sa mga ganitong situation.

We were lucky with a kababayan when we booked a Bolt. Advise din nya sa amin na mag Uber/Bolt nalang kasi laganap nga ang nakawan sa metro like you said 2:31AM.

    6. 1:33 I pray mo din that your negativity does not run off to your family.
First, just because rude Ang French, tiklop na lang tayo. Or baka wala kang perang pang travel

If this was YOUR family...hindi ka magrereklamo? Hindi ka magagalit? Wag ka ngang holier than thou. Bitterness? Saang part?

Also, no matter how 'given' it is na 'rude' ang mga French (and way to go generalizing ha. Maganda yan. And OBVIOUSLY kaya sila nagreklamo na overcharged sila is because they KNOW kung magkano lang dapat ang babayaran nila.

Tapos subway and trains nila ang luma.

36. I never dared travel to Paris dahil sa ganyan. My boss was a pickpocket victim sa airport train pa lang.

Yung owner sinabihan talaga ako na don't go there, they don't talk to or serve filipinos or non-french.

Pinag-aralan talaga ng tita ko yung basic phrases and pronunciations via a short course in a language school, ganun pa din ang nangyari. I was so sad for her kasi dream niya talaga ang Paris and it was a trip of a lifetime. Sa Japan, nagtry lang akong magsalita ng short phrase to say thank you to our food server (gochisousamadeshita), nagkamali-mali pa ata ako ng pagkasabi pero ang tuwa-tuwa na nila na nag-effort ako.

  40. Best thing is to report it to the company, Angelica.

  42. Sandali lang-- parents, ate, kuya at pamangkin. Bale 5 sila? Malamang nga, singil sila per person kaya umabot ng 400 euros. Kahit sa shuttle, per person ang singil.

  43. I don’t think I wanna travel to a place and be paranoid with all the horror stories that I read here. How can I enjoy the place when all I think about is to be careful about pickpockets, rude people, discrimination etc.? I’d rather go to El Nido or Japan or Norway

  44. I went on a solo trip to Paris and contrary sa mga warnings I was told and read about sa mga blogs, it was a super safe and fun trip for me. I guess depende lang talaga sa sitwasyon. Madaming beses din ako nag taxi kasi napapalayo or nawawala ako but the taxi drivers na nasakyan ko are polite and honest, mas nakakaloka pa mga driver sa manila. Gets ko si Angel na worried sya for her family and rude nga naman ginawa ni driver but (for me lang ha) medyo oa reaction nya, but who am I to judge.

We went on a train from Amsterdam to Gare du Nord last month lang. Pag labas namin ng Station I did not feel safe at all. Compared mo sa other northern eu countries saan kami galing. Pero sabi ng jowa ko who I was on a trip then, may part lang talaga ng Paris na unsafe. Sa part malapit sa eiffel and notre dame and shooing part champ elysees are safe naman.
Pero always be vigilant esp sa metro stations nila dmaing hawkers.

  50. Yung historical buildings and eiffel lang yung main draw ng Paris. Also food pero you can get the same stuff at other friendlier places in France. Magselfie ka nalang sa eiffel and carry on your euro trip kasi if you stay long in paris, you will be disillusioned. May term pa nun with the Japanese tourists in France e, search ninyo Paris Syndrome or Paris Shokogun. Rinoromanticize kasi ng Japanese ang Paris (like us) and when they get there, it's not what they envisioned it to be, nadedepress sila.
