    5. Obviously, she is not well educated about the places she visits. She has the money to spend in travelling, she should spare some to buy books and learn(at least).

YOU ARE SO IGNORANT. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY NA IMBENTO ANG HOLOCAUST. COME HERE TO LA AND I'LL INTRODUCE YOU TO A LOT OF JEWS AND TRY TO SAY THEM TO YOUR FACES. IT'S THE SAME THING AS SAYING NA IMBENTO ANG MARTIAL LAW. ISA KA PANG KULANG SA ARAL. MAL EDUKADO!

    13. 2:07, jews holocaust happened by the hands of the Nazis. It's in the history, not in the Bible . Educate your self aswell there are documentaries and living testaments that shared what kind of horrifying life they lived before they've escape and taste freedom. Wag pabibo.

    14. Maraming ganun. They are just tourists and not real travelers. Uncultured and uneducated with the places they visit. All for the purpose of OOTD and selfies.

    15. I’ve been there and I cannot even do a smile for a picture. I love Angelica and I found it off.

  22. This is what happens when tourists are so detached from the history of the location they're visiting and puro aura and photos lang iniisip. This is a holocaust memorial, trying to remember 6 MILLION jews killed by nazis. If she read even one tombstone, she probably would realize how offensive this is.

    ReplyDelete

    2. Years ago, my family and I visited a Holocaust museum in Washington. Matindi ang security doon na pati water bottle mo, paiinom sa iyo just to make sure there's nothing suspicious there. While sitting and watching one of the recorded testimonial of a survivor, a teenage boy sitting next to me was really bawling and crying his eyes out, strongly moved by the stories. Instinctively, I put my hand on his shoulder to comfort him and offer him a tissue. He looked at me with those really pained eyes and we both felt what the place and the stories meant. It was an experience, I never forgot. And throughout the tour, people kept a reverential awe as we browsed around, seeing images and reading stories of horrors, heroism, survivals and the strength of the human spirit. Makikita mo talaga yung respect for history, which sadly, we sorely lack.

    1. Wala siyang pinag-kaiba dun sa mga naglipanang Chineses tourists na mismong gobyerno nila ikinahihiya sa kanila. They even made a special appeal for their citizens to please behave when visiting other countries. Dapat yata gawin din sa atin yung ganun. What's even more humiliating is that Angelica is a celebrity and you'd think she'd know better.

    1. I think so too. This is more a case of somebody ignorant because she may have left school early?

      Delete
    2. It's INSENSITIVE. Kahit saan cemetery ka pumunta napaka disrespectful nyan. This is the HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL, which makes it 1,000 more offensive!

      Delete
    3. The name of the memorial should have given her an idea. Yung photographer nya, wala ring alam. Otherwise, he or she could have warned her

      Delete
    4. I don't buy that excuse. I know people who have left school early or are not as educated but made great efforts to learn and acquire knowledge on their own. Lalu na ngayon, mas mabilis ang access sa information. And daling mag-research prior to visiting a place. And you don't have to be that intelligent para magkaroon ng proper decorum. Kahit sa simpleng sementeryo ba, aawra or mag-OOTD ka? Common sense lang din.

      Delete
    5. A graveyard for war victims and genocide does not take too much of figuring out kahit walang aral, kung may respeto sa katawan, mage gets na dapat umasal ng nararapat sa lugar na yan.

      Delete
    6. I beg to disagree. Even if she left school early, it is obvious the place is a memorial —- pretty sure may plake or sign yan. And you do NOT do what she just did in a memorial.

She is rude and insensitive. Period.

      Delete
    7. LOL defend mo pa

      Delete
    8. She’s just plain crass or wasn’t taught good manners. Obvious naman na she’s in a holocaust memorial. Why would you even go to a place where there are tombstones? For sure she knew beforehand the significance of the place. Kayo ba when you travel do you always go to cemeteries?

      Delete
    9. True. Kulang lang sa information. Sana man lang she researched the proper etiquette sa mga tourist spots na pupuntahan nya ng di sha nagmumukhang insensitive at uncultured.

    3. Excuse me? Humor?? Germany is not China so it's okay to do what she did? Have you been to that place? It literally give you chills! The place is preserved for the purpose of reminding people what took place. It's not a place for joke or fashion!

    6. I’ve been to Auschwitz, and I can tell you honestly when I walked through the gates, the atmosphere felt very heavy. Even though I’ve seen documentaries and films on the holocaust, nothing really prepares you for being there. What happened in those camps and to the people there were horrible and it’s something that I personally believe should never be presented in any sort of joke or humor. You’re right, we travel to enjoy. But as a traveler, you need to be aware of certain histories. There are places to be witty and comical, this place wasn’t it.

      Delete
    7. Anon 204, your statement sickens me. Comparing Germany and China? What the.. The german are sensitive when you talk about the holocust. Oh my, why am I explaining this to you? You seem to be the person who wouldn’t get it.

    10. @anon. 2:32 am, Why are you screaming? you wanna have a respectful argument yet you are shouting and with the laughter at the end of your comment. The shows you, you yourself is lacking in understanding of the true meaning of the Auschwitz memorial. Yes, I have been to that place heck I have been to Europe countless times. And, you are talking about ”KADIRI” you might want to define the meaning of that word because from what I see on this photo she's not naked or cursing, in fact, she is well dressed. You just don't like the thought she posted, that all! People there in Berlin, Germany couldn't care less about her manners because she's not doing anything appropriate. When she says she wants to buy the country meaning as a whole, not a portion or specifically that place The Auschwitz Memorial. I'm based in California where you can express your speech and thoughts.

      Delete
    14. 2:04 napaka out of place naman ng comment mo. May pa taking away of humor ka pa nalalaman jan. Bakit kailangan bang gawing katatawanan lagi? 15. Here in Canada, pagsapit ng November, people usually wear a poppy pin until the November 11. And then on that day, Remembrance day, at the 11th hour, you can hear the sounds of a bugle and a moment of silence is observed for those who gave much for the freedom that we enjoy today. Kaya mga bata dito, they are aware about the world wars and may respect for veterans. Sana sa atin, efforts should be made para magkaroon ng pagpapa-halaga sa history ang mga tao.

  61. The caption's really insensitive BUT the photo indicates otherwise naman. She seems solemn and not celebratory. The caption wasn't a good match for the photo, but give her a break. She's not dancing around the memorial. Everyone relax and stop being so judgy and holier than thou.
