  2. Sus lahat ng airlines sa Pinas bulok ang sistema. Lalo na cebupac, may gosh, mamamatay ka nlang sa high blood sa kanila, wla yan silang pakialam lahat.

    1. Honestly mas gusto ko service ng ceb pac kesa sa pal. Sa pal parang utang na loob mo pa na sumakay ka sa kanila. Mapaground staff hanggang cabin crew may mga attitude.

    6. Hay naku,dual citizen ako kaya balik balik ako sa Pilipinas & US, every year. Iwas talaga ako sa PAL. Kulang sa customer service ang mga stewardess at dahil majority are Filipino passengers, lalo na mga senior citizens dahil direct flight, yung mga stewardess talagang isnabera at feelingera na gandang ganda sa sarili. Never again. Mabait pa ang mga foreigners na stewardess sa Korean airlines, Eva, China Southern at kahit sa Cathay Airlines. PAL, bulok ang service. Sayang ang suweldo sa mga stewardess.

    7. 11:05, baka naman bitter ka lang na hindi ka natanggap as flight attendant lol. pero actually, kahit ang palex, ang susungit ng mga cabin crew lalo na mga girls. in general we can agree that pal is one of the worst when it comes to customer service. parang walang pakealam mga empleyado nila ! "magdusa ka pero bayad muna!" dapat ang motto nila hahaha

  3. Nangyari na sa akin yan. Nag-online booking ako round trip sa PAL at may assigned seating na ako round trip from US to Manila and back sa US. Pagbalik ko sa US pinalitan nila yung seat ko at ibinigay sa iba mabuti na lang at mayrong nakipagpalit sakin ng seat sa akin na pasahero pero hindi na nila naibalik sakin yung talagang assigned seat ko. Nireklamo ko sa PAL via phone call at email pero hindi nila sinagot kung bakit nangyari yon. Dapat maraming pasaherong magreklamo kung hindi palagi nilang gagawin ito.

  6. It says on the PAL website that choice seats are nonrefundable. The only way you lose choice seats is if there is an aircraft change, where you can be refunded, or if the airline makes a decision to change your seat for safety concerns. (Were they also late in arriving at the airport or they failed to do an early/online check-in?) There's likely a sound reason for these issues including the delay in refunding the fees. I'd like to hear the whole story from both sides.

    1. i work at the airport and these cases wherein pax book their seats and end up not getting it happens when the flight is overbooked and the pax arrives at the counter late for checkin. the airline has the right to release the reserved seats for pax readily available for checkin standing in the queue and based on priority some pax are upgraded to business or first class. but in their case about the offloading, well siguru nga tlg they were late kaya got offloaded.

  8. May nabasa akong article na may problem din si Rica with PAL ning Aug 2019. She missed her dads memorial sa US because of some problem? She opted for refund pero mga luggage nila naisakay? Anubayan!

  10. Much as you would love to use Pinas grown airlines, you're gonna lose it when you're met with this kind of treatment. The airlines obviously overbooked, and that's why they have to offload passengers. Compensation/refund take so much time, whereas they can take your cash so easily/instantly.

  12. This happened to us din yung nag pa reserve ng seats pag dating namin sa check in May naka upo na sa seats namin. Aba mega galit nanay ko, May reklamo wala kami nagawa and yes Hinde din binalik sa Amin yung refund hangang ngayon. Ganyan sila pag na overbooked esp if May promo. Hinde na ito bago issue sa pal. Tatarayan ka pa ng flight attendant at ituturo nila yung May may fault nasa check in.

  13. The truth is sa Philippines walang masyadong protection/rights ang mga consumers. Kung gaano ka OA sa consumer rights ang America, ganoon naman kawalang pakialam ang mga philippine companies sa consumers nila. Kung hindi pa idadaan sa media/social media hindi sila bibigyang pansin.

  14. Rica did not say how they asked for the money to be refunded. Did they processes this at the Pal ticket office? Kasi if they expect sa counter ibabalik ang pera, hindi ganun. May accounting procedures. Edukado naman sila, they should know better. Unless Rica clears that they did process refund at the right office.

  16. Muntik na rin ako ma-offload sa PAL. Regular fare pa man din yun since need ko talaga dumating sa sa exact date ng booking ko. With assigned seat na rin. All land transfers arranged and paid na kaya di talaga ako pwede di matuloy. As usual, halos mahighblood na ako sa counter inaway ko na yata lahat ng staff doon. Btw, di ako late dumating sa airport, sadyang nag-overbook sila. Ang nakakapikon pa, ilan beses pinilit ng staff na kung di naman daw impt. na dumating ako on time itake ko na lang daw yung next available flight. Just wow. Nakasakay pa rin naman ako pero di na rin sa seat na binayaran ko and wala rin refund plus ginalit pa nila ako that day. Hay.

  17. I flew with Emirates airlines last year. My original flight was July 1 but they were overbooked and I checked in 3 hrs before my flight. So they gave me an option to be rescheduled the next day at no cost or wait as a chance passenger. But if I choose to be rebooked for the next day's flight, they'll give me a complimentary round trip ticket to any asian destination valid for 2 years plus an over night stay in Marriott with pick and drop service that very same night. Kaya nakakahappy ang customer service ng international airlines. Of course I chose to be rebooked the next day.

  19. There are already airline passengers rights in pinas but apparently PAL doesn’t care to follow them. Very typical in pinas. Shameful and not acceptable.

  20. This is so PAL..... walang kuwenta... Nag bayad pa ako nang $50 to "save" the preferred seat, last minute they changed it w/o even informing us that they changed the seat I chose when I booked my flight....What's the point of paying extra $50 if sila naman pala masusunod sa upoan mo.....
    and ang reason? "change of aircraft" daw.... parang ang daming aircraft nila na nag land dito sa LA papunta Maynila....

  21. It happened to us with PAL a few years back. But we were booked on the next flight and were given free domestic round trip tickets valid for one year.

    1. Pag domestic wala ka naman ibang choice. Cebu Pacific is worse.
      Pag international I try not to fly PAL with PAL. I’m okay to pay more and fly with other airlines kaysa PAL. Masusungit ang attendants nila. Usually pag long haul flights I prefer Singapore Airlines. Accommodating at very friendly yung attendants nila sa mga bata kahit nasa economy class lang kami.

  23. My son’s flight from ireland to uk waa delayed for 6hours and compensated straightaway.sana dumating ang panahon na maging ganito din ang sistema ng consumers right sa pilipinas

  27. Iba ang operator ng PAL at PAL Express btw. Medyo unfair igeneralize na masusungit ang mga cabin crew ng PAL. Baka nataon lang.

  29. me mga edad na kasi halos cabin crew nila kaya sawa na sila sa work. hingi ka lang ng extra inumin, halos ibagsak nila sa harapan mo un cup. yun kasabay ko dalawang passengers nun palabas na kami ng eroplano, nakahilera lahat ng crew sa pintuan ng PAL at nagtithank you sila, pinarinig nila talaga na, "nuon ang gaganda ng mga flight stewardess, ngayun matatanda na datu puti pa mga mukha"...wala tuloy ako narinig na Thank you sa mga cabin crew. Natawa talaga ako.
