Quality is the least of their factors for choosing nominees. I don't expect this award-giving body o be taken seriously.

  7. Di man lang nominated si SG sa concert of the year at female concert performer of the year? Knowing na highest grossing yung this is me concert nya? Btw hindi naman sa sales ang pinaguusapan but one of the best concert yung this is me.

    3. Parang may cutoff date. Mukhang May 2018 to April 2019 ang nominees nito? Listed in chrono order siya and the first concert which is Aegis ay July 2018

    4. Ilang concert na rin ni Sarah ang napanood ko, bumili pa ako dati ng DVD ng The Other Side and tbh, sobrang underwhelming ng performance niya sa This is Me compared to her previous concerts. Ang dragging niya panoorin. The only thing that stood out was when she did Tala.

  14. Bakit nominated si Daniel eh wala naman siyang album this year?

  16. i just noticed the songs in the Female Recording Artist category puro remake pala ng kanta ni Megastar: Ngayon at Kailanman, Tayong Dalawa and Kahit Maputi Na ang Buhok Ko.

    1. The 2 songs that you mentioned po remake ng kanta ni Sharon Cuneta, except Tayong Dalawa. It's an original track composed by Julie Anne herself. hindi po siya remake.

I think Yung Buwan ay pinakasikat na kantang pinoy this decade.

Seryoso ba Yung Chambe?

  18. Regine deserved to win on both Concert of the Year and Best Female Concert Performer for Regine at the Movies. Such a wonderful musical treat and excellent performance. The best concerts I have seen so far. And I've seen a lot.

  19. Sad to say, matagal nang patay ang OPM. Unlike in the 70's, 80's and 90's, competition from foreign artist take a chunk of support for our original Pinoy music. The emergence of K-pop didn't help either.

    1. No, OPM is very much alive. Hindi ka lang nakikinig. Thanks to Wishbus and youtube, there's a resurgence led by Moira, JK, and the bands like December Avenue
