The MGI Welcome Ceremony is always big news in the pageant world, but confirmation that Miss Grand Philippines, Samantha Lo, won´t make it to Venezuela after all, was the most talked about subject among fans around the world.
After departing photos of her circulated the internet, the Filipino representative ended up not arriving in Manila. A missing connection flight, visa problems, disqualification, or a decision to withdraw? The mystery remains, and whatever happened, a pageant powerhouse such as the Philippines will be highly missed on this Grand Slam contest…
Meanwhile, other stunning 59 young women took part in the Welcome Ceremony, leaving the impression that we will have a very strong competition this year!
Clara Sosa, Miss Grand International 2018, looked very regal standing next to a happy Nawat Itsaragrisil, who going against all odds, so far has pulled a great event in Venezuela, and the always elegant Teresa Chaivisut, vice-president of Miss Grand International.
May lapse sa committe natin, without verifying if candidates have proper documentation before allowing them to join the pageantry.
ReplyDeleteHay pilipinas, magaling maguyo.. napaka-lax ng committee..
Totoo. Eversince. Ang dami nadethrone sa mga ganyan.
DeleteSo bakit hindi yung first runner up ang ipinadala nung may time pa?
ReplyDeleteDi nila naisip.
DeleteIf the winner is unable to fulfill her obligations due to disqualification, the first runner up with take its spot.
Ano ng nagyayri sa pilipinas?
Wala na rin akong time bakz. Too late na nila ako ininform.
DeleteNakakahiya yung ganitong issue.
DeleteFirst runner up should be sent out to compete! That’s her role! No more time to prepare? They should prepare her long before kasi yun naman talaga ang role nya as first runner up. Jusko
ReplyDeleteIlan years ba dapat ang citizenship? Kalurky!!!
ReplyDeleteHaaaay, more useless pageant nonsense. Taposin na yan.
ReplyDeleteNangangamoy jinx for our beauty candidates this year.
