Malacañang finds the halloween masks featuring President Rodrigo Duterte's face "amusing."
Sought for comment about the masks, Duterte’s spokesperson Salvador Panelo found an opportunity to promote Duterte and his campaign against drugs and crime.
Was Malacañang offended by the mask sold by Calli's Company?
“Hindi. Talagang tinatakot ang mga kriminal,” Panelo said in an apparent reference to Duterte’s tough stance against criminality.
The masks are going for $32.99 on Amazon.com.
However, the "quality latex mask" cannot be delivered to the Philippines.
The masks have package dimensions of 11.1 x 10.9 x 3.4 inches.
