It is a parent’s personal responsibility to research about the play/ movie/show you will bring your kids to. Sweeney Todd is gory please do not take your kids there
Exactly! Nakakaloka lang na as we become more high-tech, lalung nagiging sabaw ang tao... tama si 12:30, google is free naman! Nakakapagtaka lang, during the 70’s naman hindi ganyan kasabaw ang tao š♀️š♀️
My mom let my 3 year old brother watch CANDYMAN in her room while she was dressing up for a party in her walk in closet and chatting with her friends on speaker phone thinking it was a kid show. He just started screaming when he disemboweled people with his hook hand. Poor kid had nightmares for 3 months. Could not look at mirrors and scared to go to the bathroom alone
I'm 38 and I haven't forgotten Jaws, The Exorcist, and a zombie movie I've had to watch with babysitting teen aunts. I was around 5 that time, and movie ratings (PG, SPG) weren't really given much regard. So yeah, I still remember the gore, and the horror. And similar to your brother, I couldn't sleep much, and I've dreamed about it, too for weeks.
For me, nas magiging maganda ang musical experience mo if you read up on the story background first bago ka pumasok ng theatre. I go as far as studying the characters and plot pa hehe. Mas worth it for me that way.
there's a Sweeney Todd movie kaya hindi ko alam bat hindi nila alam na for adults yung play? Saka sa poster palang ang dark na ng dating noh pero I want to watch it
Google is free. Research research dn before getting tickets

DeleteSad to say ganyan epekto ng technology.
DeleteThey should see the Johnny Depp version din. So graphic!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha....loved it.
ReplyDeleteTrue. I even regretted watching it. Nakakadiri, morbid
ReplyDelete𤣠kadiri diba?
DeleteHmmm.....If you are a theatre person you would know that for sure. Sweeney Todd has been around for decades.
ReplyDeleteMay movie din naman.
DeleteKaloka naman yan. The parents don’t even bother to read about the show before deciding to buy the tickets. Many broadway shows are for adults only.
ReplyDeleteMay pera pantheater pero walang common sense yung ibang parents.
