Yung 'Asia' ni Alden connected yun sa napanalunan niya na award sa Korea at alam ko may project siya na gagawin sa Thailand at sa iba pang Asian countries. Di rin waley si Julie, di siya over-hyped pero bumibenta at nagtatop ang songs niya sa charts. Isa rin siya sa artists na nabibilang sa kamay (Jose Mari Chan, Nina etc) na may Diamond award sa sales ng album at maraming platinum, may solid fanbase. So hello.
Congratulations Alden. I'm happy dahil I know you love to work. Diyan sa GMA hindi ka mawawalan ng trabaho. I'm sad dahil gusto ko din nasa ABS ka. Mas marami ka magagawa dun. Pero kung san ka masaya. Andito lang ako para suportahan ka.
He's enjoying the best of both worlds so why rock the boat? Tama lang decision ni Alden to stay loyal in GMA. Bakit nya pa kakailanganin lumipat kung pinapahiram naman sya sa kabila. If he becomes exclusive sa 2, it will only cause unnecessary issue at ang dami na masyado ng artista nila dun. At least in GMA, he may be in a smaller pond but at least he's the biggest fish. I wish you well, Alden. Sana lang talaga GMA will step up their game at wag ka nila sayangin. You deserve all the blessings you're getting now. Stay gracious and humble.
The heads over at his station are too busy trying to improve their profiles to concentrate on their real jobs. Lol. Unless it changes, all their artistas will have to endure subpar projects.

12:38 GMA has the bigger profit margin because they do not have investments that will either give them profit or loss. ABS on the other hand doesn't let their money sleep, they make investments regardless if the yield is high or low.
I know you will never leave GMA. You are loyal and for that, you have become one of the highest if not the highest paid talent now in your home network. Stay humble. But from time to time please make movies with SC. :)
So happy for you Alden. Soon to be the new box office king, the highest paid actor in your home network, loved and respected by the 2 networks. Nag iisa ka lang.
The good thing about this is that now he's got the Highest Grossing Film in Philippine History, he now has a lot of leverage to ask for what he really wants out of his contract. Meron na syang power and clout to dictate the actual direction of his career. If that means getting to make movies with SC again after his success there, then so be it. Lalo syang dapat alagaan ng GMA. He could've jumped ship. Alam nila yan. But he chose to stay.

See, he's following the Dingdong path na pwedeng gumawa ng pelikula outside the network and at the same time alagang alaga ng home network. Nabasa ko interview ni Alden diyan na andiyan na lahat ng kailangan niya sa network at never naging madamot ang network sa kanya. Never niyang naisip na lumipat kasi GMA ang nandiyan sa kanya from the start and loyalty goes a long way. True. I'm happy for you. Maging mapili ka na lang sa serye na ibibigay sayo para di puchu puchu lang. I'm sure naman the network will listen to your suggestions, isa ka sa prizes talents nila.
