I’m going to be brutally honest here, I hope I do not offend anybody. You know John Lloyd’s “works” are pa-artsy lang talaga. He also acts in an odd way so that people will perceive him as an artist. He intentionally makes his “art” indefinable to further compel the public that he is a legitimate artist that does not need to explain or talk about his work...there’s always some sort of a mysterious element to it, but in a very contrived way. But guess what? There are a lot of artists (and I mean, very gifted, legitimate artists who are head and shoulders above JLC’s skills) that act very normally. They have their own quirks and unique qualities about them when they express themselves; but they don’t deliberately act weird just to separate themselves from everyone else, which is what John Lloyd has been doing. These true artists are able to blend well with everybody else, they speak intelligently about their art (even if they are the shy type, when their art work is concerned, you can bet that they will and can speak intelligently to it), and like that their works become part of a dialogue (not in chismis form, ha), that their works are approachable to the general public in order to inspire acceptance and diversity. Parang nasa DNA ni John Lloyd yung paandar sa showbiz na pa-mysterious, kaya maraming hindi convinced na wala na sa sistema niya ang pagiging artista/talent sa harap ng camera...not that there’s anything wrong with that. I think that he should reconcile the fact that acting is his true calling; and should go back to it. He has touched so many lives with his acting talent and I think that there is no greater way to honor God’s gift than to share it with others, in the way that he has for more than half of his life. DeleteI’m going to be brutally honest here, I hope I do not offend anybody. You know John Lloyd’s “works” are pa-artsy lang talaga. He also acts in an odd way so that people will perceive him as an artist. He intentionally makes his “art” indefinable to further compel the public that he is a legitimate artist that does not need to explain or talk about his work...there’s always some sort of a mysterious element to it, but in a very contrived way. But guess what? There are a lot of artists (and I mean, very gifted, legitimate artists who are head and shoulders above JLC’s skills) that act very normally. They have their own quirks and unique qualities about them when they express themselves; but they don’t deliberately act weird just to separate themselves from everyone else, which is what John Lloyd has been doing. These true artists are able to blend well with everybody else, they speak intelligently about their art (even if they are the shy type, when their art work is concerned, you can bet that they will and can speak intelligently to it), and like that their works become part of a dialogue (not in chismis form, ha), that their works are approachable to the general public in order to inspire acceptance and diversity. Parang nasa DNA ni John Lloyd yung paandar sa showbiz na pa-mysterious, kaya maraming hindi convinced na wala na sa sistema niya ang pagiging artista/talent sa harap ng camera...not that there’s anything wrong with that. I think that he should reconcile the fact that acting is his true calling; and should go back to it. He has touched so many lives with his acting talent and I think that there is no greater way to honor God’s gift than to share it with others, in the way that he has for more than half of his life. Wag sana ninyo masamain or i-isolate lang yung ibang mga sinabi ko dito, I hope that you can understand my sentiment in its entirety. Pero okay lang rin po if you disagree with me.
