I don’t think so. It should be a very very good story na ang papasukin ng tao ay dahil sa story and not because of him. Kung kumita man, mediocre lang like iyong mga indie niya. Hindi na masyadong kumikita mga pelikula niya bago siya umalis.

I agree with 8:10. Coco used to be a great dramatic actor nung nasa indie pa siya and in his earlier works sa mainstream. As so called Indie Prince, he shone during his collaboration with Brillante Mendoza. In the beginning, he was able to transfer his acting skills when he transitioned to mainstream. And that was, an an actor. Ang problema, nung naging creative consultant na siya in his subsequent projects, and eventually director, biglang naging mediocre na yung skills niya. He somewhat acquired the cliche type of acting. Yung tipong one dimensional lang. Perhaps, because he started wearing too many hats, hence, his acting prowess suffered. Sana makabalk siya sa indie para magka refresher course siya on how to be just an actor for acting's sake.
