My heart is bleeding for all the helpless and innocent animals living there. Soooo sad! I hope they will somehow find a way to help end this devastation.
1. Millions of people go to Notre Dame everyday. And these people are from all over the world so mas madaling kumalat ang balita. Amazon, however, happened in a forest.I also have a feeling that their government downplays it in the beginning because apparently, it's been going on for years.
2. ND was an accident. Amazon was a result of deforestation that obviously due to irresponsibilties ng Brazilian gov't.
3. Donations? Well, the billionaires that donated in ND are French Billionaires. It's a natural response. And i think hindi nangyari 'to sa AF dahil nga walang media coverage.
Lastly, people don't care. Out of all my fb friends. I only saw 2 friends shared about the incident. With zero reactions.
Not by the amazon tribes. It was the Brazilian government urging the cattle ranchers, loggers, soy planters and mining companies kasi gusto nila gamitin yung land for their own purposes. Yung mga tribes pa nga ang tinataboy nila away from their homes. The sad thing is 20% of landmass oxygen at mga modern medicine discoveries ay galing sa amazon rainforest.
Grabe to. Amazon is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, source of oxygen that supplies the earth. It also slows down global warming according to what I read.
'Lungs of the Earth' ata. I know Amazon at pinakamalaking rainforest ata, pero sad lang dahil gov walang aksyon.
Truly heartbreaking. My heart goes to all the animals and to all living there. I hope something can be done the soonest to stop further devastation. #prayforamazonia
That's what you got from their post? That they are "gaya gaya?" I mean... who cares if they are? The point is... they are, by reacting, helping to spread the news!
I mean, it is already happening.
I read an article of Inquirer that this is not true and people are posting old photos and not even fires in the Amazon? Old photos like in 2014 pa? Ano ba talaga? But whatever it is this is not good news.

ReplyDeletesame here 12:42 so sad :( we people are the worse :(
Why?

Agree with no 2. Brazil has been deforested to reclaim land for government sanctioned businesses, sadly same thing happens in Indonesia and Malaysia.
DeleteSaw it sa fb may mga speculations na sinadya ang sunog by the amazon tribes

Deletefb = fake news
DeleteHahaha. Research muna bago magpost. Atat kasi maging current

ReplyDeleteBakit ba ibang “Amazon” ang naisip ko?
ReplyDeleteOnline shopping ruined me!🤣
Akala ko rin Amazon warehouse for delivery.
DeleteAyyy true baks, that’s also the first thing that comes to my mind heheh!
ReplyDeleteIt is the gov't policies that burned the Amazon. The president supported development, infrastructure ,rather than preserving the environment.
ReplyDeleteAmazon supplies like 20% of the earth's oxygen.
'Lungs of the Earth' ata. I know Amazon at pinakamalaking rainforest ata, pero sad lang dahil gov walang aksyon.
ReplyDeleteNaalala ko lang sa Greece ba yun? Mga kapitbahay na country tumulong sa wildfire. Pero dito, government di masyadong concerned.
ReplyDeleteMy God! Sana naggoogle ka muna.

ReplyDeleteThe Amazon has been burning for fewl weeks now but ngayon lang kayong Pinoy. celebs naging concern?
ReplyDeleteThat's what you got from their post? That they are "gaya gaya?" I mean... who cares if they are? The point is... they are, by reacting, helping to spread the news!
DeleteAgree 3:28, at least they are able to use their influence to spread awareness.
Delete3:28 Eh ano pa nga ba??? Gaya gaya kasi nakikiuso! And you think by making gaya, it will help stop the fire? Huwag ka ngang ano dyan!

ReplyDeleteNakakalungkot naman to. Help save the amazon rainforest and all the its habitat.
