It's not about being able to speak our language but she just has a bland personality and looks self conscious on screen whenever i see her. I guess if you compare hosting skills to language fluency, Clint also sucks at tagalog but he has a strong personality and is a great fit to JoWaPao and EB.
Haters gonna hate !!! But no matter what all of you bashers gonna say, you can't deny the fact that she is the first winner of AsNTM who represented the Phils. We all should be grateful for that and not put her down.
Andaming hanash nito. Puro i was told this.. haller, you cant even own up to your own actions. Stop blaming other people. You have no place in showbiz.
I'm half din and grew up abroad without even knowing what Tagalog is my whole life tas lumipat kami dito at wala pang isang taon almost fluent na kami magkakapatid? No lessons, wala! Nagtataka nga mga kamaganak namin kung paano kami natuto mag Tagalog when we never tried to learn. It just happens lang.
English is Anglican mga gumawa is mga Northmen ng Scandinavia na naging language ng British.
Wow! ang harsh ng mga comments. Andaming perfect at sobrang gaganda. I actually enjoyed her video and was amazed by her determination to learn the language, and yet mga kapwa nya Filipino ang hindi masaya, nakakaloka! Well done Maureen, btw, you are very pretty.
Sorry pero I'm really suspicious sa mga nag-aasawa ng mga puti... there's really something wrong with their sense of nationalism kaya I admire asians who marry within their race na dapat matutunan ng gawin ng mga pinay. Love your own and if you have to marry foreigner it should be asian too pero controlled level parin.
Wow ha may pa suspicious ka pa jan! I used to think na pinoy lang talaga aasawahin ko. Tapos i moved here in europe, learned about their culture and the people. Mas straight, vocal and more mature sila mag isip para sa akin. Dont judge ateng. Iba iba tayo ng gusto. Pag ako nagkaanak, tuturoan ko mag tagalog anak ko. Yun din gusto ng jowa ko.
Totoo naman kasi na maraming pinay ang naging goal na nila sa buhay ang mag=asawa ng puti kasi they think they are better women if they end up with a white husband. One of their reasons is to have white looking babies. They are so convinced that white is superior and their brown race is inferior kaya they do everything to achieve that goal. Tapos pag nagkaanak na sila they act so high and mighty and look down on pure/non-half white pinoys as if they are god's gift to humanity. Hindi naman lahat may ganitong ugali pero marami talaga ang ganyan, a lot of times pati anak nilang half-white may superiority complex din sa mga pure pinoys.
I don't get it why their Filipino parent(s) did not teach them Filipino while growing up. My coworker was born and raised in America but is fluent in Filipino and Kapampangan. And oh! He's never been to the Philippines!
LOL! 4:43, "they'll never move back to the Philippines anyway..." So condescending. Yeah right. Unless they can't find a decent job in the US or Europe, yun ang time that they will MOVE TO THE PHILIPPINES SO THEY CAN BECOME AN INSTANT CELEBRITY EVEN WITH ZERO TALENT AND THEN CLAIM THEY ARE PROUD PINOY. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
You're bland and boring kase atih, you're just a pretty face! Bagay sayo maging print or commercial model, but never an artista sa TV.
Ang madalas na way to learn a new language e to practice speaking it with native speakers. Pero, may madami pang way para matuto katulad ng panonood ng movies and tv series (much better if my english subtitle), and pagbabasa ng comics.
Continous learning and dapat na si Maureen should devote a lot of time para matuto, even outside her class. Kahit naman nakaupo lang sya or on the way to work e matuto sya ng Filipino language, nasa tao na lang yun kung talagang madali nyang maaabsorb yung tinuturo, pinapakinggan, binabasa or pinapanood nya.
Filipinos are naturally condescending people. Defense mechanism nila yan because they are also naturally insecure. Magaling mamintas. Pikon pag napintasan 🤦🏻♂️
It's difficult for kids who grew up abroad na maging fluent sa Filipino even if their parents taught them the language kasi mas madalas sila sa labas and ang kausap mga foreigners. That doesn't mean they can't understand the language. Nahihirapan lang mag express in Tagalog kasi nga kulang sa practice. Maureen is actually doing a great job and contrary sa mga bashers nya she is not boring. She reminds me of Liza S. One of these days when she's more confident sa pagsasalita ng Tagalog she'll be able to showcase her talents. Di ka basta basta mananalo sa modeling if you don't have personality and that "it" factor. Madaming maganda but it takes talent and personality para maging magaling na model.
Maureen just prove them na mali sila. Salamat sa bashers mo at may time silang mgcomment at ichallenge ka. You are young ang dami mo pang maimprove at matutunan, just dont give up. Ako sayo maghost uli ako para mabwisit sila lalo!
No talent. Plain and boring. Sorry
ReplyDeleteWell atleast she’s trying to learn Tagalog I mean, tingnan mo naman si Sam Milby, it’s been a decade or so but baluktot pa rin magtagalog.
Delete3:47 but he's talented. Mabuti na din yung once in a while may naririnig tayong nag eenglish sa mga shows para di nababawasan english skills natin.
DeleteSorry but sam is not talented. You must be dreaming.
DeleteThe fact na pinasok siya sa Eat Bulaga (sorry mga mars out of place talaga siya dun) instead of pursuing opportunities in fashion and modelling....
I don't think showbiz is for her, but kudos sa determination nya to learn the language
DeleteBalik ka na lang kasi sa modeling. Di ka pwede maging host at artista.
Deleteshe's too short to be a model. kaya nga mas sumikat pa sa modelling yung ibang kasabayan nya sa ANTM
DeleteWhat do you mean "fashion is dying?"
DeleteIt's not about being able to speak our language but she just has a bland personality and looks self conscious on screen whenever i see her. I guess if you compare hosting skills to language fluency, Clint also sucks at tagalog but he has a strong personality and is a great fit to JoWaPao and EB.
ReplyDeleteSame observation!
DeleteHaters gonna hate !!! But no matter what all of you bashers gonna say, you can't deny the fact that she is the first winner of AsNTM who represented the Phils. We all should be grateful for that and not put her down.
ReplyDeleteOo nanalo cya dun pero nasan cya now? Sa pinas din bagsak niya! Inshort nganga
Deletemas sumikat pa nga si Shikin at Tu sa kanya, in terms of modelling e.
DeleteAndaming hanash nito. Puro i was told this.. haller, you cant even own up to your own actions. Stop blaming other people. You have no place in showbiz.
ReplyDeleteWTH?
DeleteSobrang arte mo. OA much.
DeleteDeutsch nman kasi first language nya 215.
DeleteWow! ang harsh ng mga comments. Andaming perfect at sobrang gaganda. Haha!
DeleteSa wakas!
ReplyDeleteAnong fashion is dying?
Eh ano magagawa mo? Nainlove sa foreigner eh. Wala namang pinipili ang love?
DeleteTotoo naman kasi na maraming pinay ang naging goal na nila sa buhay ang mag=asawa ng puti kasi they think they are better women if they end up with a white husband. ReplyDeleteMaraming reasons. Magkakaiba ang situation ng families kaya we cannot expect the same from them.
DeleteWhat bugs me more are those children who were born and raised in the Philippines but barely speaks Tagalog.
DeleteThere is no point actually. They function there so they never use it, and they will never move back to the Philippines anyway.
DeleteLack of nationalism.
DeleteLOL! 4:43, "they'll never move back to the Philippines anyway..." So condescending. Yeah right.

What is happening to you people?
ReplyDeleteFilipinos are naturally condescending people.

ReplyDeleteYou must have a really boring life to think that she's not boring at all.
DeleteFashion isnt dying. Your career is.
ReplyDeleteYour bitterness knows no bounds. She has barely even started.
DeleteIf my bitterness knows no bounds, so does her capacity to make excuses
DeleteMaureen just prove them na mali sila. Salamat sa bashers mo at may time silang mgcomment at ichallenge ka. You are young ang dami mo pang maimprove at matutunan, just dont give up. Ako sayo maghost uli ako para mabwisit sila lalo!
ReplyDeleteSino naman kukuha sa kanya mag host?
DeleteThis is the first time i saw her speak and she looks okay naman pala. Kapag sa ads kasi parang ang boring and pareparehas yung facial expression nya.
