    3. From the guy who hates talking in English. Ang mga pamilya niya nga , especially his kids are mga inglesera. He hates the language because he is not good at it.
Now he is talking about being nationalistic which I think is kind of going overboard.

    2. ROTC is there to brainwash kids to blind obedience and not necessarily to teach patriotism.

  11. If I were to Robin, I'd rather encourage the youth to finish their studies and be the person they want to be in the future. Nowadays, risking one's life isn't the only way to become a hero. Imagine a country with the best dedicated teachers, good doctors/nurses, fair attorneys, outstanding lawmakers, hardworking laborers, God-fearing/responsible citizens and patriotic government officials. Little by little, we could possibly achieve a zero-corruption, crime-free yet economic stable country. And I, thank you!

reply to 1:36 .. i agree with you. IT is not only through being in the army or reservist that you can show yr patriotism. Even in the smallest job or wherever you are you can show yr concern by just not wasting any of our resources like water, food, helping the needy, etc.

    6. Meron akong kababayan na nag join nang military here in the US para Ituloy ang naudlot niyang pre med. ?The Military will pay for education. He is now a doctor serving our veterans at the VA hospital.

  12. There should be a law for mandatory serving up to a certain age. Many countries have that, and even members of royal families have joined. Prince Harry for instance served in Afghanistan. Israeli men and women are trained and they serve. If prince and princesses are part of their armies, why not with Philippines too? I have two friends there in Philippines who are army reservists - both girls, and they are a doctor and a lawyer. Both are from very well-off families. If they could, the youth can do too. Rather than them wasting their time in night outs, they can train and be part of the army.

    1. I will not encourage male friends to join AFP during Duterte's time. With a lunatic president we have right now, who'd rather give up Phil to China, not worth it. Until he fulfills his promise to put a Phil flag in the WPS, no way I will put my faith in him. He is useless...

    3. Hindi mandatory sa uk to serve in the military. It's a personal choice.

      Delete
    4. 1:17 All the more reason then that the pampered royals who joined the service are to be admired. That some of them were even in the frontline.

5:41 Lunatic or not, would you rather have a president baying for war? Philippines as an archipelago is not an easy country to defend. But getting the youth trained in the army will at least give the citizens some fighting chance to survive wars.

Look, I live in UAE. The 30 and below males and voluntarily females, train. The country has islands occupied by Iran. They're protesting on it since the 70s. But despite the alliance with GCC and other powerful nations, they are pursuing the most peaceful means to protest the occupation. Because they know, even if they have weapons, the losses will be even more if they war with Iran over these islands.

  13. Reading the comments, hanggang social media dakdak lang talaga mga pinoy. Kulang kasi tayo sa sense of volunteerism. Well, including me. Lol.

  17. Unahin natin irecruit si robin

    ReplyDelete

It just speaks volumes kasi they are prepared when the times needed it. Preparedness is very crucial in any situation dahil di natin alam anong mangyayari sa future. I salute those celebrities training for the South Korean army for example. Kurakot dito kurakot doon. Kawawa talaga tayo.

Lol.
