People become very invested in other people's lives because they are privy to the most intimate feelings and experiences posted on social media. Julia and Gerald should do PR damage control. This type of response intensifies the gossip flames further. Julia & Gerald should take control of the narrative asap lest they go the way of other actors/actresses who earned the public's ire and whose stars quickly faded due to overlapping relationships/being linked to the wrong person. They should separately issue a statement that denies the allegations,and affirm their love for their partner/fans. Then stay away from each other until the issue dies down.
