ReplyDeleteYes!! This is true! You cannot change your gender in your birth certificate just because you had a sex reassignment surgery. Your current name may now be legal —that is understandable— but your gender is still the same. Pwede ba BB, basahin mo nlang yung Silverio vs. Republic.

ReplyDeleteRicky Lo was referring to Rustom. So use the use of "he". It's possible that Lo is still used to referring to BB as Rustom having known the person for a long time as Rustom. I have a niece who recently came out as gay. He know has a male name but still accidentally call him by his former female name. Mahirap din for the people around to adjust to the transition. So sana understanding on both sides.

I have a lesbian cousin I can't address him as "ate" or "Kuya" kasi He might get offender either way. kapag kuya I thought baka isipin nya nagpapaka sarcastic. SO yeah! magulo. Hindi kami sure. DeleteIf you want to be recognized as a woman you can't force anyone to call you a woman. There's 2 biological gender. He or She- you can correct someone over what you prefer but you can't be mad. Obviously she’s determined to become a woman and it will be a validation if people will acknowledge her as “she”. Let’s just state the obvious.
